According to one embodiment, an existent person count estimation apparatus includes motion sensors and following units. The collection unit generates human sensing information. The instance prediction unit predicts second instances from the first instances by using the transition matrix. The likelihood calculation unit calculates likelihoods of the second instances using the time information items. The instance selection unit selects one or more third instances having likelihoods higher than a threshold. The output unit generates output information including estimate values of existent person counts for the first areas included in the third instances.

Existent person count estimation apparatus

A power receiving unit receives power generated by power generating units via a power system. A power information acquiring unit acquires first system power information showing the proportion of power generated by each power generating unit in a first period. An intensity database stores environmental loading intensities for each power generating unit. A charge load intensity calculator calculates a charge load intensity which is a weighted sum of the environmental loading intensity corresponding to each power generating unit based on the proportion of each power generating unit in the first system power information. A charge/discharge judging unit determines to charge a storage unit in a first period when the charge load intensity is less than a reference value, and not to charge the storage unit in the other cases. A charge/discharge controller charges the storage unit in the first period when determined to charge the storage unit.

Storage battery management system

A green power demand management device includes: a power meter which receives power from a power distribution system with a plurality of power generating units, and supplies a received power to a first appliance; a receiver which receives energy mixture information showing a power generation proportion among each power generating unit, a measuring unit which measures electric energy consumed by the first appliance, a setting unit which sets a first threshold, and an operating state control manager which uses an intensity conversion table including emission intensities each representing an amount of an environmental load material emitted by each power generating unit, obtains a second threshold by dividing the first threshold by sum total of the emission intensity of each power generating unit weighted by the proportion, and controls the first appliance so that electric energy consumption of the first appliance is equal to or smaller than the second threshold.

Green power demand management device

A behavior estimation apparatus inputs a prediction period, an annual consumption expenditure, extracts, from behavioral statistical data including an occurrence probability of each of behaviors of human during each time period, the occurrence probability of each behavior within the prediction period as a prior probability distribution, obtains a consumption time ratio between replaceable behaviors, and calculates estimated occurrence probabilities of the behaviors which minimize a Kullback-Leibler divergence with respect to the prior probability distribution and satisfy a condition that a ratio between estimated occurrence probabilities of the replaceable behaviors within the prediction period equals a consumption time ratio between the replaceable behaviors, a condition that a sum of expenditures of the behaviors per unit time equals an expenditure per unit time calculated from the annual consumption expenditure, and a condition that a sum of the occurrence probabilities and a sum of the estimated occurrence probabilities are '1'.
