A trigger switch has a case member, a cover member, and an operation member configured to be used to carry out an operation. The case member and the cover member are combined with each other to form a waterproof case. When the operation member is operated, the operation member is displaced inward of the waterproof case. An internal pressure of the waterproof case changes in accordance with displacement of the operation member. The case member has a case base that is made from an inelastic body. The case base does not deform in accordance with a change in internal pressure of the waterproof case. The case base has at least one hole part. The case member has at least one deformation section that seals the at least one hole part. The deformation section is made from an elastic body.

Trigger switch

An electric tool has a rib projecting from an inner peripheral surface of the electric tool, and a trigger switch. The trigger switch has a housing having a housing venthole, a contact mechanism disposed in the housing, and a trigger that, when depressed into the housing, drives the contact mechanism. The housing of the trigger switch is bonded to the rib. The rib has a rib venthole. The housing venthole is communicated with the rib venthole. The rib venthole is covered with a filter.

Electrical power tool

A trigger switch has a trigger arranged projected and biased to a front side in a housing, and a lock member projecting from a side of the trigger towards the housing, and being engaged with a lock button projecting to the side from the housing to fix the trigger in a pulled-in state. The lock member is swingably attached to the trigger.

A trigger switch performs speed control of a motor according to a pull-in amount of a trigger. A wiring path for lead wires connects the trigger switch and an auxiliary device. The wiring path is formed in an insulating wall. The insulating wall isolates a pair of power supply terminals, each connected to a power supply, from each other.

A trigger switch has a stationary contact and a moving contact provided inside a body and able to come close to and away from each other a contact drive member accommodated slidably inside the body to drive the moving contact, and an operating shaft having a first end engaging with the contact drive member and a second end which projects from the body, having a trigger configured to be operated by a user. Clearance is provided between the first end of the operating shaft and the contact drive member upon engagement, which enables inclination of the operating shaft relative to the contact drive member.
