The non-contact information recording medium is made by forming the antenna circuit and connecting it to the IC module through connection terminals at the same time. This provides a high degree of freedom of patterning of the antenna circuit. The antenna circuit is formed on a recording substrate, in which an IC module has been embedded. A foil-bonding resin layer is formed on the connection terminals of the recording substrate, with a toner containing a binder resin by an electrophotographic method. Then a conductive foil is brought into contact with the foil-bonding resin layer to bond the foil to the resin layer, to connect the antenna circuit to the connection terminals and form the antenna circuit composed of the conductive foil.

Disclosed is a production method of a two-component developer for developing an electrostatic image comprising a toner and a resin coated carrier having a porous magnetic core particle and a resin coated layer, wherein the porous magnetic core particle are composed of a porous ferrite material and have pore apertures on a surface of the particle, and the method comprises steps of blocking the pore apertures of the porous magnetic core particle with rubber particles by dry mixing of the porous magnetic core particle and the rubber particles, forming the resin coated carrier by forming a resin layer on the porous magnetic core particle whose pore apertures have been blocked, and mixing the resin coated carrier and the toner.

Production method of two-component developer

An objective is to provide a carrier exhibiting stable charge providing ability in which sufficient charge can be provided to toner having a small particle diameter, and no image contamination such as fog caused by toner scattering via lack of electrification is generated. Another objective is to provide a carrier capable of maintaining a charging level of no interference for image formation even under the image forming condition at which a charging level for printing a number of prints continuously is difficult to be maintained. Disclosed is a carrier comprising a core particle made of ferrite possessing Mg and coated thereon, a resin, wherein the core particle has a ratio of the number of irregular-shaped core particles of at most 5%, based on the total number of core particles, and a surface of the core particle has grains having a maximum grain diameter of 2-5 &#x3bc;m.

A method to form an image using a trickle developing system, wherein (a) the toner comprises colorant particles with a volume median diameter of 3 to 8 &#x3bc;m having first inorganic particles on surfaces of the colorant particles to form toner particles; (b) the carrier comprises magnetic particles with a weight average particle diameter (D4) of 20 to 40 &#x3bc;m having second inorganic particles on surfaces of the magnetic particles to form carrier particles; and (c) an area ratio of element (A) based on a total area of surfaces of the carrier particles is 0.5 to 3.0 area % determined by using an X-ray analysis, provided that element (A) represents one or more elements commonly contained in the first inorganic particles and in the second inorganic particles.
