Provided is an electric die casting machine capable of achieving high injection speed and high boost pressure. An injection unit () is provided with an electric servomotor () for injection in a first stage, a ball screw mechanism () (motion converting mechanism in the first stage) for converting rotational motion of the electric servomotor for injection in the first stage into rectilinear motion of a linear motion body (), electric servomotors (and) for injection in a second stage, mounted on the linear motion body, a crank mechanism (and) (motion converting mechanism in the second stage) for converting rotational motion of the electric motor servomotor for injection in the second stage into rectilinear motion of an injection plunger (), and a control unit () for controlling driving of each electric servomotor for injection. The control unit drives only the electric servomotor () for injection in the first stage independently in a low-speed injection step, and drives both the electric servomotor () for injection in the first stage and the electric servomotors (and) for injection in the second stage simultaneously in a high-speed injection step and a pressure intensification step.

Die casting machine

Intended is to provide a molding machine using a built-in type motor as an injecting electric motor. In this molding machine, a mounting structure for such a transmission mechanism from a rotational motion to a linear motion, as changes the rotation of the built-in motor into the linear motion thereby to transmit the linear motion to an injecting member, is simplified to improve the assembling workability. For this improvement, a sleeve is fixed in the rotor of the built-in type motor. In the hollow portion of the sleeve, a screw shaft or the rotating portion of a ball screw mechanism and the sleeve are connected and fixed by a connecting member. A nut member or the straight portion of the ball screw mechanism is fixed on a member for performing straight motions together with the injecting member.

Molding machine

Provided is an injection molding machine using a built-in type motor as a measuring electric servomotor. In order to reduce the entire length of the machine (the injection molding machine), the metering electric motor is exemplified by a hollow built-in type motor, which includes a cylindrical stator, and a cylindrical rotor positioned in the stator. A sleeve is fixed in the rotor of the built-in type motor, and a member fixing the rear end portion of a screw and the sleeve are connected/fixed. Moreover, a nut member as a straight portion of a ball screw mechanism for converting the rotation of an injecting electric motor into linear motions and the sleeve are connected/fixed.

Injection molding machine

A die-casting machine using an electric servo motor as a driving source for injecting/filling molten metal into a cavity of a mold through an injection sleeve. The molten metal in the injection sleeve is injected/filled into the cavity by an injection member. During the course between the stage when the molten metal has not reached a gate of the mold yet and the stage when the molten metal begins to pass the gate of the mold, the speed of the injection member is controlled to be accelerated in a smooth speed characteristic curve which does not have a broken-line characteristic. Thus, rising to a high injection speed can be attained rapidly and smoothly.

Control method of die-casting machine

A diecasting machine is provided with a mold and an injection plunger to inject and fill molten metal in the mold by an advancement of the injection plunger. The diecasting machine includes an electric servomotor and a hydraulic drive source. The electric servomotor is usable as a first drive source capable of driving the injection plunger at an advancing speed lower than 1 m/sec, while the hydraulic drive source is usable as a second drive source capable of driving the injection plunger at an advancing speed not lower than 1 m/sec.

Diecasting machine

An injection molding machine using a two-disk forming mold, in which two disk substrates molded simultaneously are made uniform without unbalance in weight. The injection molding machine uses a two-disk forming mold. The mold includes two disk molding cavities independent of each other, and resin inlets provided correspondingly to the cavities respectively. In the injection molding machine, molten resin is simultaneously injected and charged into the two cavities respectively by two plasticizing/injecting units independent of each other. The operations of the two plasticizing/injecting units are controlled to make the molten resin uniform to be charged into the two cavities.

A method of controlling a compression injection molding machine having a movable die mounted on a movable die plate including using a pressure sensor to detect a reaction force produced at the movable die by resin being injected into a die cavity. The pressure sensor is positioned between the movable die plate and a housing supporting a toggle driving mechanism that moves the movable die plate and movable die. The output of the sensor is applied to control the injection of the resin into the die cavity or the thickness of the resin. This output can also control gate cutting or resin injection speed.

Method of controlling a compression injection molding machine

A precision injection molding apparatus is provided with servo mechanisms in various portions of the apparatus including a resin injection portion to provide precise feedback control of resin weighing, blending, and injection of weighed and blended resin into a die cavity between closed dies, a die opening and closing portion to provide precise feedback control for driving a movable die from a spaced position into a closed position relative to a fixed die to provide the die cavity, a gate cutting portion to provide precise feedback control of gate cutting, a molding ejecting portion to provide precise feedback control of ejecting a formed molding and a molding removing portion to provide precise feedback control for removing the molding from between opened dies. Because servo mechanisms are used, there is no variation in repetitive response accuracy of motion and speed of operation can be increased in terms of cycle speeds without loss of accuracy.

Electrically-operated injection molding machine

In an injection unit of an in-line screw type injection molding machine, a screw is provided rotatably in both normal and reverse directions within a heating cylinder. The screw is periodically reversed in a charging stroke with the period of normal rotation being longer than that of reverse rotation, whereby a resin material is kneaded and plasticized. As a result, the resin in a melting and pooling zone (flow zone) between the inner wall of the heating cylinder and the outer peripheral wall of the screw is effectively moved back and forth and hence plasticized and molten into a uniform molten resin.

Method for controlling injection unit of injection molding machine

A method controlling the injection of a molten resin through an in-line screw type injection molding machine. The molding machine is equipped with a check ring for permitting the injection of the molten resin by an advancement of the screw and also for preventing the molten resin from flowing backward. According to the method, the screw is rotated in the normal direction to knead and plasticize a resin material and further to feed the resultant molten resin to the free end portion of the screw. The screw then retracts to meter and store a predetermined quantity of the molten resin adjacent to the free end portion of the screw. The screw is next rotated in the reverse direction to pressure of the molten resin on the rear side of the check ring lower than that of the molten resin thus metered and stored on the front side of the check ring. The screw retracts to reduce the pressure of the resin on the front side of the check ring, thereby performing a decompression stroke. The screw finally advances to inject the molten resin into a mold.

Controlling method of injection through injection molding machine

The invention relates to injection molding and is provided with a heating cylinder, an injection nozzle disposed at the forward end of the heating cylinder, a resin feed means, such as screw, which feeds molten resin to a portion in the vicinity of the forward end of the heating cylinder. Also provided is a piston means, such as a plunger, which has a stop valve mechanism that closes when it is moved in an injection direction and is opened when it is moved in a counterinjection direction and injects molten resin, fed to a portion in the vicinity of the forward end of the heating cylinder, into a cavity through the injection nozzle, whereby, through driving of the resin feed means and the piston means, charging of molten resin into the forward end of the heating cylinder and injection of the molten resin into a cavity are carried out partially concurrently.
