There is provided an engaging mechanism of a system in which the flange-like protrusion at the portable equipment is engaged with or locked to an engaging part at a belt clip, wherein both fitting and removing for the portable equipment are simplified. The system such that the flangeat the portable equipmentis constituted by the discand the annular frame, the protrusiondirected inwardly from the annular framewith its circumferential sides being applied as slant surfacesand; the engaging plateof the belt clip(refer to FIG.) is provided with the engaging partcomprised of the frameand the front plateformed with the U-shaped recess, the engaging plateis constituted by the cantilever beamdefined by the slit, the extremity end of the beamis formed with the clawwith its upper side being applied as the slant surface; when the flangeis fitted into the engaging part, the clawis fitted inside the annular frameto apply a locked state, and when the portable equipmentis turned by 180&#xb0;, the protrusioncauses the clawto be retracted and releases the locked state.

Mechanism for engaging portable equipment against a belt clip

In a belt clip for portable electronic equipment by use of rewind urging force of a torsion coil spring, a detachment preventing mechanism of a guide shaft, serving as a shaft center of a rotational mechanism, is implemented with a simple structure so as to improve a reduction in the number of parts and yield. The respective shaft support portions and of a hang stopper plate and both side plates and of a bracket are combined with each other, a torsion coil spring is twisted from a natural state and interposed therebetween in such a manner that a guide rod is passed through a space formed therebetween, but movement of the torsion coil spring to an axial direction and a change in a coil length are restrained by a groove of the hang stopper plate and the side plate of the bracket . An electronic apparatus installation structure has an adapter with rotatably supporting a rotating shaft, and having a bearing part having elongated holes that cause exposure of screw holes and a pin hole of a rotating shaft and a base part. A pin of the rotating shaft is pressed into the pin hole, thereby restraining thrust-direction movement, and also limiting the swinging range of the rotating shaft. Through holes are provided on a radio apparatus at locations corresponding to the screw holes on the rotating shaft, and mounting screws are used to fix the radio apparatus to the bearing part of the adapter.
