A high pressure dome scroll compressor includes a compression mechanism having fixed and orbiting scrolls to form a compression chamber, a casing housing the compression mechanism, and first and second passage members. The first and second passage members guide low and intermediate pressure fluid from outside of the casing to the compression mechanism. The fixed scroll has a fixed end plate, a fixed wrap, and an outer peripheral wall surrounding the fixed wrap. The fixed end plate has suction and injection passages connected with the first and second passage members to guide the low and intermediate pressure fluid to the compression chamber. The fixed end plate has an attachment portion to which the first and second passage members are attached. The attachment portion is part of a back surface of the fixed end plate and protrudes on the back surface of the fixed end plate.

Scroll compressor

A tube assembly includes inner and outer tubes, and a brazing material. The inner tube has an outer peripheral surface first portion and an outer peripheral surface second portion. The outer tube has an inner peripheral surface first portion and an inner peripheral surface second portion. The inner and outer tubes form a refrigerant passage of a compressor. The inner peripheral surface first portion is located adjacent an end of the outer tube. The inner peripheral surface second portion is located spaced from the end as compared with the inner peripheral surface first portion. The outer peripheral surface first portion is press-fitted into the inner peripheral surface first portion. The brazing material is disposed in a brazing gap between the outer peripheral surface second portion and the inner peripheral surface second portion. The brazing material fixes the outer peripheral surface second portion and the inner peripheral surface second portion.

Tube assembly, compressor, refrigeration apparatus, and method of manufacturing tube assembly

A compressor includes an actuator, a compression mechanism, a drive shaft, a support, a casing, and a welding pin. The drive shaft transmits a driving force of the actuator to the compression mechanism. The support supports a bearing that rotatably supports the drive shaft. The support has at least one hole formed in an outer surface. The casing has a cylindrical shape and accommodates the drive shaft and the support. The welding pin is press-fitted into the hole of the support and is welded and fixed to the casing. A low rigidity region is provided at at least a part of a periphery of an adjacent portion adjacent to the hole of the support. The low rigidity region has lower rigidity than the adjacent portion. The low rigidity region includes a thin portion having a smaller thickness in a radial direction of the casing than the adjacent portion.

Compressor with welding pin connection

A scroll compressor includes a crankshaft, a bearing rotatably supporting the crankshaft, a casing accommodating the crankshaft and the bearing, an arm supporting the bearing, a fixing portion connected to an end of the arm and fixed to the casing, and first and second pins. The first and second pins are press fitted into first and second holes and fixed to the casing by welding. The first hole is formed in the fixing portion and has a first center disposed at a position overlapping a minimum sectional area portion of the arm. The second hole is formed in the fixing portion and has a second center disposed at a position outside the minimum sectional area portion of the arm. A first force with which the first pin is held by the fixing portion is larger than a second force with which the second pin is held by the fixing portion.

Scroll compressor and refrigeration cycle apparatus

A compressor includes a casing, a housing inside the casing, and first and second welds. The casing includes a tubular barrel casing and an end casing. The first weld welds the barrel casing and the housing together. The second weld welds the barrel casing and the end casing together along a circumferential direction. The second weld includes a repeatedly welded portion formed by one end portion and an other end portion of the second weld overlapping each other, or the second weld includes a plurality of second welds each including a repeatedly welded portion formed by an end portion of the second weld and an end portion of an other one of the second welds overlapping each other. The repeatedly welded portion are formed to reduce deformation of the barrel casing. The repeatedly welded portion and the first weld are aligned along an axial direction of the barrel casing.

Compressor and method for manufacturing compressor

A scroll compressor includes fixed and movable scrolls forming a compression chamber, a back pressure chamber, and outer and inner oil supply mechanisms that supply oil to outer and inner chambers of the compression chamber. The inner oil supply mechanism includes an oil supply portion formed in a sliding surface of the fixed scroll to communicate with a suction region of the compression chamber and a communication port passing through the sliding surface of the movable scroll to communicate with the back pressure chamber. The communication port communicates with the oil supply portion within a predetermined period in which a center position of a suction-side end of the wrap of the movable scroll in a thickness direction is located radially outward of a center position of a space between adjacent turns of a wrap of the fixed scroll, during one rotation of the movable scroll.

A stator includes a stator core having a plurality of teeth, an insulator, a plurality of coils, a first region in which distal ends of feeder lines are connected to each other, and a second region in which distal ends of neutral lines are connected to each other. The insulator has inner and outer walls spaced from each other in a radial direction. A scroll compressor includes a casing, a scroll compression mechanism, a motor, a crankshaft, a bearing, a frame fixed to the casing; and an oil separation member fixed to the frame. The motor includes a stator and a rotor rotatable in a rotational direction. The bearing rotatably supports the crankshaft. The oil separation member suppresses mixing of a refrigerant and a lubricating oil. The frame supports the bearing and has first and second fixed legs fixed to the casing. The oil separation member has a first horizontal and inclined surfaces. The first inclined surface has a first inclined surface upstream portion and a first inclined surface downstream portion. The first inclined surface downstream portion is disposed higher than the first inclined surface upstream portion. The first horizontal surface, the first inclined surface, and the first fixed leg are disposed in order from upstream to downstream in the rotational direction.

Scroll compressor including an oil separation member

A compression mechanism of a scroll compressor has a back-pressure chamber defined on a back face of an end plate of a movable scroll. The compression mechanism has an annular space defined at an outer periphery of the end plate of the movable scroll. The movable scroll has a movable-side passage through which a compression chamber intermittently communicates with the back-pressure chamber in accordance with eccentric rotation of the movable scroll. The end plate of the movable scroll has a communication space through which the movable-side passage communicates with the annular space. The communication space includes first and second communication portions located forward and rearward of the movable-side passage in a direction of eccentric rotation, respectively. A first circumferential width of a first opening in the first communication portion is larger than a second circumferential width of a second opening in the second communication portion.

A compressor includes a first throttle portion that receives a refrigerant at an intermediate pressure from an injection pipe of a refrigerant circuit, an enlarged flow path portion that receives the refrigerant from the first throttle portion, a second throttle portion that receives the refrigerant from the enlarged flow path portion, and a compression element. The compression element includes a compression chamber that receives the refrigerant from the second throttle portion. The first throttle portion has a flow path cross-sectional area that is narrower than both a flow path cross-sectional area of the injection pipe and a flow path cross-sectional area of the enlarged flow path portion. The second throttle portion has a flow path cross-sectional area that is narrower than the flow path cross-sectional area of the enlarged flow path portion.

A compressor includes a compression chamber forming member, an injection passage, an injection pipe, and a pulsation attenuation space. The compression chamber forming member forms a compression chamber. The injection passage is formed in at least one of the compression chamber forming member and a separate member disposed in a surrounding area and connecting to the compression chamber. The injection pipe supplies refrigerant to the injection passage. The pulsation attenuation space is formed in one of the compression chamber forming member and the separate member disposed in the surrounding area so as to communicate with the injection passage. The pulsation attenuation space attenuates pulsation of refrigerant gas flowing from the injection pipe into the compression chamber.

A scroll compressor includes fixed and movable scrolls and a crank shaft coupled to the movable scroll. The fixed and movable wraps are engaged to form a compression chamber. A refrigerant compressed in the compression chamber is discharged from a discharge port open at a central portion of the fixed end plate. The compression chamber is divided into first and second compression chambers facing outer and inner circumferential surfaces of the movable wrap. One of the end plates is provided with a communication groove recessed at a portion near a wrapping start position of the wrap. The communication groove connects the first compression chamber and the discharge port before the outer circumferential surface of the movable wrap, which is eccentrically rotating while sliding on an inner circumferential surface of the fixed wrap, separates from the inner circumferential surface of the fixed wrap.

A scroll compressor includes a pressing mechanism, a pushback mechanism and an adjustment mechanism. The pressing mechanism applies a pressing force toward a fixed scroll to the back side of an end plate portion of an orbiting scroll. The pushback mechanism applies a pushback force separating the orbiting scroll from a fixed scroll to the front of the orbiting scroll. The adjusting mechanism has a low-pressure portion filled with a fluid of a lower pressure than the discharge pressure of the compression mechanism, and a communicating groove formed in a sliding surface of an outer peripheral portion of the fixed scroll so as to communicate with the low-pressure portion in a first rotational angle range in order to reduce an upsetting moment of the orbiting scroll, and to be blocked from the low-pressure portion in a second rotational angle range other than the first rotational angle range.

A scroll compressor includes a compression mechanism having a fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll. The fixed scroll includes a first end plate, an outer peripheral wall extending from an edge of the first end plate, a first oil groove, and a first wrap inside of the outer peripheral wall. The orbiting scroll includes a second end plate in sliding contact with an end of the first wrap and an end of the outer peripheral wall, a second oil groove, and a second wrap. The first oil groove is disposed on a surface of the outer peripheral wall, extends along an inner periphery of the outer peripheral wall, and is configured to receive lubricating oil at a high pressure corresponding to a discharge pressure of the compression mechanism. The second oil groove is disposed on a surface of the second end plate, and is communicatable with the first oil groove.
