An X-ray detection unit includes an X-ray detector that receives and detects the X-ray beam transmitted through the head. The support supports the X-ray generation unit and the X-ray detection unit. A drive mechanism moves the support such that the X-ray generation unit and the X-ray detection unit turn about an axis extending in a direction parallel to an apparatus vertical direction and around the head. An X-ray generation source moving unit moves the X-ray generation source in the apparatus vertical direction. The X-ray imaging apparatus increases a spread in the apparatus vertical direction of the X-ray beam when the X-ray generation source is located on an apparatus upper side, and decreases a spread in the apparatus vertical direction of the X-ray beam when the X-ray generation source is located on an apparatus lower side.

X-ray imaging apparatus

An object of the present invention is to prevent an X-ray generator and an X-ray detector that turn around a subject from contacting with the subject. An X-ray CT imaging apparatus includes a turning support that supports an X-ray generator and an X-ray detector, a turning drive mechanism including a turning mechanism and a turning axis moving mechanism, an imaging region position setting unit that receives a setting of a position of an imaging region to a local part of a dental arch of a head, and a turning controller. The position of the mechanical turning axis Xis controlled according to the position of the imaging region set by the imaging region position setting unit.

X-ray CT imaging apparatus and method of controlling X-ray CT imaging apparatus

An X-ray CT imaging apparatus includes: a supporter that is supported such that an X-ray generator and an X-ray detector are opposed to each other; a turning motor that turns the supporter about a shaft; a crosswise drive motor that moves the shaft in a crosswise direction; and a circuit that performs processing of controlling the turning motor and the crosswise drive motor and processing of setting the physique of a subject. When X-ray CT imaging is performed, the crosswise drive motor moves the shaft in synchronization with turning of the supporter about the shaft, and the supporter is caused to perform combined motion, which allows the X-ray generator and the X-ray detector to turn about a center of an X-ray CT imaging region, and position control of the shaft is performed according to the size of the physique of the subject.

X-ray CT imaging apparatus

When X-ray CT imaging is performed with a part located close to a front of a head as the imaging region, using the turning mechanism and the distance changing mechanism, the turning controller causes the X-ray generator and the X-ray detector to turn around the head while locating the imaging region therebetween, and causes the X-ray detector to turn along a go-around orbit, in which the X-ray detector comes close to the imaging region with respect to a front side of the head and moves away from the imaging region with respect to a rear side, by changing a distance between the X-ray detector and the center of the imaging region.

An X-ray imaging apparatus receives mode selection using a mode selection receiving unit including a mode setting unit and an operation display. When a CT mode is selected by the mode selection receiving unit, an X-ray beam shape adjuster shapes an X-ray beam into an X-ray cone beam in which a center beam that is a center of the X-ray beam is orthogonally incident on a body axis of a head. When a panoramic mode is selected, the X-ray beam shape adjuster shapes the X-ray beam into an X-ray narrow beam in which the center beam is incident on the body axis from obliquely below to obliquely above, the X-ray narrow beam having a length in a direction of the body axis.

X-ray imaging apparatus and x-ray imaging method

A medical X-ray CT imaging apparatus includes an X-ray generator that generates a cone beam, an X-ray detector, a support that supports the X-ray generator and the X-ray detector while the X-ray generator and the X-ray detector are opposed to each other, a turning drive unit that turns the X-ray generator and the X-ray detector, which are supported by the support, an imaging information receiving unit, and an X-ray output condition setting unit. The imaging information receiving unit receives an imaging area setting relating to at least one of a size of an imaging area, an imaging purpose, and an imaging region. The X-ray output condition setting unit automatically sets an output condition of the X-ray generator according to at least one of the size of the imaging area, the imaging purpose, and the imaging region, which are received by the imaging information receiving unit.

A display device for a medical X-ray photography apparatus may include: a display panel including a photography mode selection region where a plurality of photography mode selection images corresponding to a plurality of X-ray photography modes are displayed; an interface that receives a selection operation to select one of the photography mode selection images displayed on the display panel; a processor that performs display processing of the selected photography mode selection image displayed on the display panel in response to the selection operation received through the interface; and an illustration display region included in the display panel where an illustration corresponding to the selected photography mode selection image is displayed. When the selection operation is received, the selected photography mode selection image is displayed in a visually distinguishable manner, and the illustration corresponding to the selected photography mode is displayed in the illustration display region.

An X-ray generator generating an X-ray cone beam and a two-dimensional X-ray detector detecting the X-ray cone beam are supported by a support arm while facing each other, and the X-ray generator and the two-dimensional X-ray detector are turned with an object interposed therebetween. A filter constitution body is disposed between the two-dimensional X-ray detector and the object. Filters having X-ray beam energy distribution conversion characteristics different from each other are arrayed in the filter constitution body. In X-ray photography, a filter constitution body moving mechanism is moved in a direction along a detection surface of the two-dimensional X-ray detector such that the filter constitution body traverses the X-ray cone beam in turning the support arm.

X-ray photography apparatus, image processing device, and X-ray photography method

According to an X-ray imaging device for performing CT imaging, a main body control section controls at least one of an X-ray revolution plane formed by an X-ray cone beam along with the revolution of a revolving arm and a revolution range of the revolving arm in accordance with a CT imaging area accepted by an imaging area setting screen. Such control is performed in order to decrease X-ray radiation to a high sensitivity site in the area that revolves during the CT imaging, the high sensitivity site being positionally set in a biological body as a site that is sensitive to X-rays.
