A zoom lens includes a first lens group including an optical path change member that changes an optical path, a second lens group including at least one negative lens and at least one positive lens, and lens groups having a positive refractive power. The first lens group is closer to an object side of the zoom lens and is fixed relative to an image plane during a zooming operation. The second lens group is adapted to move during the zooming operation. Each of the lens groups includes at least one positive lens, and the lens groups are closer to an image plane side of the zoom lens.
