There is provided a head mounted display comprising: an interface unit to which a cartridge can be connected; and at least one controller configured to activate a predetermined operation mode according to information acquired from the cartridge when the cartridge is connected to the interface unit.

Head mounted display

There is provided a head mounted display comprising: an interface unit configured to be connected with a cartridge; a determinator configured to determine whether the head mounted display is inside a specific area or not when the cartridge is connected to the interface unit; and at least one controller configured to execute, when the determinator determines that the head mounted display is inside the specific area, an application based on first data that is acquired from the cartridge, and to execute, when the determinator determines that the head mounted display is not inside the specific area, another application based on second data that is acquired from the cartridge.

In one aspect, a head-mounted display includes displays, a front portion formed in such a manner as to surround at least a part of peripheral portions of the displays, and at least one temple portion connected to the front portion. An interface capable of connecting a cartridge thereto is provided in the at least one temple portion.

Head-mounted display

A head-mounted display includes an interface capable of connecting thereto a cartridge of which a return condition is recorded, and a controller configured to determine whether, when the cartridge is connected to the interface, the return condition has been satisfied. When it is determined that the return condition has been satisfied, the controller is configured to execute notification for requesting a user to return the cartridge.

A head-mounted display according to one aspect includes an interface capable of connecting a cartridge, and a controller configured to execute an application based on data obtained from the cartridge when the cartridge is connected to the interface. The controller is configured to explore other devices existing within an interconnectable area in executing the application, and communicate and connect with other devices associated to the application among other explored devices.
