A driving force transmitting device includes a case, an electric motor, and a gearbox. The electric motor includes an output shaft. The gearbox includes a spur gear that rotates coaxially with the output shaft. The case includes a partition wall, a first accommodating chamber accommodating the electric motor, and a second accommodating chamber that accommodates a second driven gear. The partition separates the first accommodating chamber and the second accommodating chamber from each other. The partition wall includes a connecting hole that connects the first accommodating chamber and the second accommodating chamber to each other. The connecting hole is located on one direction side in relation to the central axis of the output shaft. At least part of the connecting hole overlaps with the spur gear when viewed in a direction along the central axis.

Driving force transmitting device

A vehicular power transmission device includes: a support member; first and second rotating shafts rotating about a shaft; and first and second bearings supporting first and second rotating shaft, respectively, to be rotatable with respect to the support member. Further, an oil hole is formed in the support member for supplying lubricating oil to a space between the first bearing and the second bearing, the space is divided into first and second spaces on sides of first and second bearings, respectively, by a partition wall formed on the support member, the oil hole is formed in the support member so as to discharge the lubricating oil to one space of the first space and the second space, and a communication hole communicating with the first space and the second space is formed in the partition wall.

Vehicular power transmission device

A lubricating device for lubricating components includes first and second lubricant guide plates which have respective inclination angles with respect to a horizontal line such that the angle of inclination of the first lubricant guide plate is smaller than that of the second lubricant guide plate. The inclination angle of the first lubricant guide plate is determined to permit the lubricant oil guided by the first lubricant guide plate to be directed into the catcher reservoir, and to inhibit the lubricant oil from being supplied to component or components disposed above the gear, and the inclination angle of the second lubricant guide plate is determined to permit the lubricant oil guided by the second lubricant guide plate to be supplied to the component or components disposed above the gear.

Lubricating device for components within casing structure of vehicular power transmitting system

A lubrication structure of a hybrid vehicle includes a gear chamber that houses a planetary gear unit and a differential device, and a motor chamber that houses a rotating electric machine, and is separated from the gear chamber by a partition wall. Lubricating oil stored in a bottom portion of the gear chamber is stirred up through rotation of a final reduction gear of the differential device disposed in a lower portion of the gear chamber, so that the lubricating oil is supplied to the planetary gear unit. One end of a cylindrical output member of the planetary gear unit is rotatably supported by a partition wall via a bearing, and a communication hole that communicates the gear chamber with the motor chamber is provided in an opposed portion of the partition wall which is opposed to a vicinity of an outer peripheral edge of the bearing.

Hybrid vehicle and lubrication structure of hybrid vehicle

A drive control device for a hybrid vehicle is provided with a differential device including four rotary elements; and an engine, first and second electric motors and an output rotary member which are respectively connected to the four rotary elements. One of the four rotary elements is constituted by a rotary component of a first differential mechanism and a rotary component of a second differential mechanism selectively connected through a clutch, and one of the rotary components is selectively fixed to a stationary member through a brake. The hybrid vehicle is selectively placed in a plurality of drive modes according to respective combinations of engaged and released states of the clutch and the brake. The drive control device comprises: a substitutive drive control portion configured to alternately implement a vehicle driving control and a battery charging control in the event of a failure of one of the first and second electric motors, the vehicle driving control being implemented to operate the other of the first and second electric motors, for generating a vehicle drive force, and the battery charging control being implemented to charge a vehicle driving battery with the other electric motor.

Drive control device for hybrid vehicle

A drive control device for a hybrid vehicle is provided with a differential device including four rotary elements; and an engine, a first electric motor, a second electric motor and an output rotary member which are respectively connected to the four rotary elements. One of the four rotary elements is constituted by a rotary component of a first differential mechanism and a rotary component of a second differential mechanism which are selectively connected to each other through a clutch, and one of the rotary components of the first and second differential mechanisms which are selectively connected to each other through the clutch is selectively fixed to a stationary member through a brake. The drive control device comprises: a clutch engagement control portion configured to place the clutch in an engaged state when a warm-up operation of the hybrid vehicle is required.

A sealing structure using a liquid gasket, having a liquid gasket interposed in the form of a thin film between mating surfaces of a first member and a second member, thereby preventing the movement of oil via the mating surfaces, the sealing structure, includes at oil-side end portions of the mating surfaces, a gasket lump portion that is formed of an excess of the thin-film liquid gasket squeezed out from the mating surfaces, and an oil-shielding portion that covers a boundary portion where the gasket lump portion and the first member come into contact, thereby preventing a flow of the oil from directly striking the boundary portion, and is provided on an oil-flow upstream side from the boundary portion.
