The present disclosure relates to compounds capable of emitting delayed fluorescence, and uses of the compounds in organic light-emitting diodes.

Composition of matter for use in organic light-emitting diodes

Using a compound represented by a general formula (A)m-L-(D)n, a light-emitting device having a high emission efficiency can be provided. L is an (m+n)-valent aromatic linking group; A is a group having a positive Hammett's σvalue; D is a group having a negative Hammett's σvalue; m is an integer of 1 or more; n is an integer of 2 or more. Two of plural D's differ in point of the substituent condition at specific aromatic rings.

Compound, light-emitting material and light-emitting element

An organic electroluminescent device having an anode, a cathode, and a light-emitting layer between the anode and the cathode, wherein the light-emitting layer contains at least a first organic compound, a second organic compound and a third organic compound satisfying the following formula (A), the second organic compound is a delayed fluorescent material, and the third organic compound is a light-emitting material, has a high light emission efficiency. Formula (A): E(A)>E(B)>E(C) wherein E(A), E(B) and E(C) each represent a lowest excited singlet energy level of the first organic compound, the second organic compound and the third organic compound, respectively.

The present disclosure relates to compounds of Formula (I) as useful materials for OLED's. At least two of Z, Z, Z, Zand Zare CN, cyanoaryl, or heteroaryl having at least one nitrogen atom as a ring-constituting atom; and at least two of R, R, Rand Rare diarylamino, indolyl or carbazolyl.

An organic light-emitting device containing both a compound represented by the following general formula (1) and a compound represented by the following general formula (2) has a high light emission efficiency. The rings a to c each are a benzene ring that can be optionally condensed, Rand Reach represent a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, etc., four of Rto Reach are a substituted or unsubstituted carbazol-9-yl group, but all of these four are not the same, and the remaining one is a hydrogen atom, a cyano group, etc.
