A pin assembly for use in a planetary gear including a pin including a cylindrical side wall defining a central bore that extends from a first end to a second end of the pin along its longitudinal center axis, an inlet bore, and a first annular groove that extends radially outwardly into the side wall of the pin adjacent the first end. A first cylindrical plate includes a first side wall, a second side wall, and a cylindrical outer wall extending therebetween, the first plate being disposed within the first annular groove of the pin, wherein a width of the first plate in a direction parallel to the longitudinal center axis is less than a width of the first annular groove in the direction parallel to the longitudinal center axis so that the first plate is axially slidable within the first annular groove.

A bearing device includes: an outer ring housing in a cylindrical shape which is provided in a casing and has a discharge hole in an axially central portion of the outer ring housing and a notch groove passing through an axial end surface of the outer ring housing in the radial direction; and a rolling bearing mounted on each of both axial sides of the outer ring housing and rotatably supporting a rotational shaft positioned radially inside of the outer ring housing.

Bearing device

A rolling bearing of a balancer shaft device is positioned on an imaginary circle concentric with an axis of a shaft portion of a balancer shaft as viewed in a radial cross-section, and includes a cylindrical portion which covers the shaft portion. An outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical portion defines an inner ring raceway surface of an inner ring member on which a rolling element of the rolling bearing rolls. A part of the shaft portion of the balancer shaft, at a position on which the rolling bearing is disposed, has a cutout formed at a portion which does not contribute to offsetting of rotational vibration of a crankshaft.

Conical roller bearing device

A bearing apparatus for including a camshaft, a plurality of cam blocks disposed in an axial direction on the camshaft, a housing member including an arc concave portion, a cap member which is fixed to the housing and includes an arc concave portion, a roller bearing interposed between the arc concave portion of the housing member and the arc concave portion of the cap member so as to rotatably support the camshaft, and annular first and second control rings which are separately provided from the camshaft, and are press-fitted and fixed to an outer surface of the camshaft at opposite side portions of the roller bearing in the axial direction. Surfaces of the first and second rings that face each other are formed as slide surfaces, and the slide surfaces come in contact with opposite side surfaces of at least one of the housing member and the cap member to receive an axial load.

Shaft apparatus with bearing

A double row thrust roller bearing includes a pair of inner and outer cages arranged radially in two rows in separate coaxial relation, each cage including an annular inner peripheral wall, an annular outer peripheral wall, a plurality of pillar portions interconnecting the annular inner and outer peripheral walls at intervals in a circumferential direction thereof, and a plurality of pockets each formed between the adjacent pillar portions. Rollers are rotatably held and retained respectively in the pockets. The annular inner peripheral wall of the inner cage is guided by an annular flange formed at an inner peripheral edge of one race, and the annular inner peripheral wall of the outer cage is guided at an inner periphery thereof by the annular outer peripheral wall of the inner cage.

Double row thrust roller bearing

A cage includes a radially inward-side annular plate, a radially outward-side annular wall, a plurality of pillar portions, and pockets formed in the pillar portions. Rollers are rotatably retained in the pockets. An inner peripheral surface of the radially outward-side annular wall is formed so as to be oblique toward a radially outward direction. A radially outward-side end surface of each of the rollers has a spherical surface shape.

Cage and thrust roller bearing equipped with the cage

A rolling bearing apparatus is provided that rotatably supports a cam shaft in a cylinder head of an engine. The rolling bearing apparatus includes a plurality of rolling elements; a cage that positions the rolling elements so as to be spaced at regular intervals from each other in a circumferential direction and that retains the rolling elements in a freely rotatable manner; a shell-type outer ring configured to receive the rolling elements and the cage and having a raceway surface of the rolling elements at an inner side thereof; and an outer ring fastening member formed of a material having almost the same thermal expansion coefficient as the shell-type outer ring and having a press-fit portion press-fitted to the shell-type outer ring.

Rolling bearing apparatus

The clearance between the outer peripheral surface of an annular portion of a cage and the inner peripheral surface of each of rib portions of outer-ring split pieces is set to be smaller than the clearance between the radial end surface of a projection portion of the cage and the inner peripheral surface of each of body portions of the outer-ring split pieces. When a centrifugal force due to engine rotation acts upon the cage, the inner peripheral surface of each of the rib portions of the outer-ring split pieces touches the outer peripheral surface of the annular portion of the cage before the inner peripheral surface of each of the body portions of the outer-ring split pieces touches the radial end surface of the projection portion of the cage. Thus, the radial displacement of the cage can be prevented in good time.

Roller bearing

A rocker arm formed of material in a shape of sheet has a pair of side wall portions, a connection portion for a valve stem receiving portion and a connection portion for a pivot receiving portion which interconnect the side wall portions, and an open portion for arranging a roller which is formed between the two connection portions. A distance between outer side surfaces of the pair of side wall portions in the connection portion for the valve stem receiving portion is reduced in a direction from upper edges to lower edges in a step-like shape having two or more step differences, whereby a first outer side surface and a second outer side surface are formed.

There is provided a rolling slide member coming in contact with a mating member in a rolling or sliding manner, wherein a plurality of grooves having an inclination of 0 to 30 degree and a groove depth of 0.5 to 15 &#x3bc;m are formed in a circumferential direction at the time of grinding a contact surface with the mating member. In the contact surface, the axial surface waviness is set to 0.1 or more in the filtered centerline waviness (WCA) and the axial surface roughness is set to 0.7 or more in the ten-point height of roughness profile (Rz) by the grooves

Cam follower

There is provided a cam follower in which a surface roughness of an outer surface of a roller of a cam follower which is in rolling contact with a cam of an engine is obtained individually in an axial direction and a circumferential direction, a skewness Rsk of a profile is formed to be negative, a core roughness depth Rk is made to be 0.3 or less, a reduced valley depth Rvk is made to be 0.3 or less, and a ratio Rk/Rt of the Rk to a maximum height Rt of the profile is made to be 0.19 or more.
