An ultraviolet irradiation device includes a light-emitting element, a temperature control element, and a control circuit. The light-emitting element is configured to emit an ultraviolet light. The temperature control element is configured to control a temperature of the light-emitting element. The control circuit is configured to control the temperature control element based on a voltage of the light-emitting element so as to control a peak wavelength of the ultraviolet light.

An illumination device includes: an optical fiber, the optical fiber allowing light emitted from a light source to be introduced at a first end portion thereof and to be guided through the optical fiber while emitting a portion of the light through a side surface of the optical fiber; a light-transmissive tube, the light-transmissive tube covering the side surface of the optical fiber such that a gap is located between the tube and the side surface of the optical fiber; and a light-shielding cap covering a second end portion of the tube at a side opposite the light source such that a space is located between a bottom portion of the cap and the second end portion of the tube. A second end portion of the optical fiber projects past the second end portion of the tube and is located at an inner side of the cap.

Illumination device

An apparatus comprises a housing having a window surrounded by an opening edge; a light source arranged in the housing; a total reflection mirror arranged in the housing; and a diffusion reflection mirror for reflecting part of light emitted from the light source toward the window and at the same time reflecting another part of the light emitted from the light source toward the total reflection mirror, wherein light reflected by the total reflection mirror is guided to the window, thereby a target object can be uniformly and brightly irradiated, and good image information can be obtained.
