A rotary compressor includes a cylinder with a cylinder chamber, a piston, a blade and a pair of bushes. The piston is movable-within the cylinder chamber. The blade is integrally formed with the cylinder or piston and penetrates a groove formed in the other to segment the cylinder chamber into high and low pressure chambers. The bushes are provided at the groove and sandwich the blade from both sides of the blade. At least one of the pair of bushes includes an oil supply passage formed from a blade-side sliding surface to a groove-side sliding surface, a blade-side oil reservoir formed on the blade-side sliding surface, and a groove-side oil reservoir on the groove-side sliding surface. Ends of the oil supply passage open to the blade-side and groove-side oil reservoirs. The groove-side oil reservoir being wider than the blade-side oil reservoir.

Rotary compressor

A scroll compressor includes a fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll. Each of the fixed and orbiting scrolls includes an end plate and a spiral wrap standing on a front surface of the end plate. The scrolls are arranged such that the front surfaces of the end plates face each other and the wraps are engaged with each other. The orbiting scroll eccentrically rotates, without turning on an axis thereof, with respect to the fixed scroll to compress fluid in compression chambers respectively formed inside and outside the wrap of the orbiting scroll. Each wrap is formed in a shape such that at least one of the compression chambers serves as a rate-reduced compression chamber where a volume change rate thereof is reduced in a middle of a compression phase.

A rotary compressor includes a cylinder having an annular cylinder space, a piston eccentrically disposed relative to the cylinder, and a drive shaft () connected to the piston. The piston has a piston portion eccentrically rotatable relative to the cylinder, and a piston end plate closing the cylinder space. The cylinder has an end plate storage space storing the piston end plate in an eccentrically rotatable manner. The cylinder space forms a main cylinder chamber, and the end plate storage space forms a sub-cylinder chamber.

A rotary fluid machine includes a cylinder with an annular cylinder chamber, an annular piston and a blade. The annular piston is disposed in the cylinder chamber so as to be eccentric to the cylinder. The annular piston divides the cylinder chamber into an outer cylinder chamber and an inner cylinder chamber. The blade is arranged in the cylinder chambers to divide each of the outer and inner cylinder chambers into a high-pressure chamber and a low-pressure chamber. The cylinder and the piston are arranged to eccentrically move relative to each other. A height of the outer cylinder chamber is different from a height of the inner cylinder chamber as measured in a direction of a rotational axis of the rotary fluid machine.

A compressor includes a compression mechanism having lower and upper stage compression chambers. Refrigerant compressed in the lower-stage compression chamber is further compressed in the higher-stage compression chamber. An intermediate injection pipe is arranged to inject refrigerant between the lower-stage and the higher-stage compression chambers. The compression mechanism includes at least one fixed member having a fixed end plate, and at least one movable member having a movable end plate section facing the fixed end plate with at least one of the compression chambers interposed between the end plate sections. At least one intermediate back pressure chamber is formed to face a back surface of the movable end plate section. The intermediate back pressure chamber communicates with a discharge side of the lower-stage compression chamber, and is arranged such that internal pressure of the intermediate back pressure chamber acts on the movable end plate section.

Compressor and refrigeration apparatus

A rotary fluid machinery includes a fixed member, a drive shaft driven and rotated about a rotation axis, a movable member, a movable member support part and a reverse moment generating mechanism. The movable member is rotatably mounted at the drive shaft with its center being eccentrically disposed relative to the rotation axis, with the movable member and the fixed member forming a fluid chamber. Revolution of the movable member changes the volume of the fluid chamber. The movable member is configured to swing in association with its revolution. The reverse moment generating mechanism generates a moment in a reverse direction about the rotation axis relative to a moment about the rotation axis caused by the revolving movement of the movable member.

A fluid machine includes an inflow passageway arranged and configured to introduce fluid from outside into inner and outer fluid chambers of a first eccentric rotation mechanism, a communication passageway arranged and configured to introduce fluid discharged from the inner and outer fluid chambers of the first eccentric rotation mechanism into inner and outer fluid chambers of a second eccentric rotation mechanism, and an outflow passageway arranged and configured to allow fluid discharged from the inner and outer fluid chambers of the second eccentric rotation mechanism to flow to outside. Each of the first and second eccentric rotation mechanisms preferably includes a cylinder, a piston, and a blade. A drive shaft has a main shaft portion and first and second eccentric portions arranged to engage the first and second eccentric rotation mechanisms.

Fluid machine

A rotary-type fluid machine includes a compression mechanism having piston mechanisms arranged one on top of the other and a drive mechanism having a drive shaft that is configured and arranged to drive the piston mechanisms. Each of the two piston mechanisms includes a cylinder member with a cylinder chamber, a piston member housed eccentrically in the cylinder chamber such that the cylinder chamber is partitioned into first and second compression chambers. A phase difference of 90 degrees in volume change is made between the cylinder chambers of the two piston mechanisms. A movable one of the cylinder and piston has a first surface facing one of the first cylinder chambers and a second surface facing one of the second cylinder chambers, with a surface area of the first surface being equal to a surface area of the second surface.

Rotary-type fluid machine

A fluid machinery includes a rotary mechanism, an annular back pressure chamber and an oil passage. The rotary mechanism includes first and second cooperating members, each including an engaging member extending from an end plate, with the cooperating members being arranged to oscillate relative to each in order to change volumes of operation chambers formed between the cooperating members. The annular back pressure chamber is formed on the back surface side of the end plate of the first cooperating member, and communicates with an intermediate operation chamber of the operation chambers to thrust the first cooperating member against the second cooperating member. The intermediate operation chamber is in an intermediate pressure state. The oil passage is arranged to communicate an oil into the back pressure chamber to fill the back pressure chamber with the oil. The rotary mechanism can include a piston and cylinder, or can include a fixed and orbiting scroll.

A bolt hole receiving a fixing bolt is formed in a portion of an end plate overlapping an annular piston or a fixed wrap as viewed in a thickness direction of the end plate to open at the back face of the end plate. In fixing a discharge valve to the end plate, the fixing bolt is screwed into the bolt hole.

A rotary compressor includes a fixed side and a movable side that is eccentrically movable relative to the fixed side. The movable side moves in response to operation of a drive mechanism, which rotates a drive shaft. The fixed side has a main bearing formed as a unitary part. A cylinder may serve as the movable side, which is coupled through an eccentric part to the drive shaft. The drive shaft is supported by the main bearing. With such an arrangement, a ring-shaped piston may serve as the fixed side, which is formed integrally with the main bearing in a front head.

In a compression mechanism of a rotary compressor, a cylinder chamber is defined by a cylinder and a second housing. A back surface side gap is defined between an end plate part of the cylinder and a flat plate part of a first housing. The first housing is provided with a communicating path and a differential pressure regulating valve. When the difference between the suction pressure and the discharge pressure is small, the discharge pressure is introduced through the communicating path to an intermediate gap whereby both an internal gap and the intermediate gap are placed at the same pressure as the discharge pressure. Conversely, when the difference between the discharge pressure and the suction pressure is great, the communicating path is made discontinuous by the differential pressure regulating valve whereby the intermediate gap is placed at an intermediate pressure lower than the discharge pressure.

A valve guard for restricting the amount of deformation of a valve disc has a main body part abuttable with the back surface of the valve disc, and a fixation part extending to outside of a receding part. Upon mounting the valve guard to an end plate part, the fixation part is firmly attached to the outside of the receding part of the end plate part.

A blade moves backward/forward to enter four different states, namely a first state in which the tip thereof is in sliding contact with the internal peripheral surface of an external side cylinder part, a second state in which the tip is positioned in the cutaway portion of a ring-shaped piston to thereby place only an external side cylinder chamber at rest, a third state in which the tip is positioned in the cutaway portion of an internal side cylinder part to thereby place only the external side cylinder chamber and an intermediate cylinder chamber at rest, and a whole rest state in which the tip is positioned in a blade groove to thereby place all of the cylinder chambers at rest.
