There is provided a clutch release bearing in which a water resistance is enhanced. At a side axially opposite from one side where an outer ring rib of a clutch release bearing is formed, there is provided a first seal member externally fitted to an outer ring to be fixed thereto. A seal lip disposed in sliding contact with an outside-diameter surface of an inner ring is formed at a radially-inward distal end of the first seal member. An annular guide is provided at a bearing-outward side of the first seal member, and an axial lip which extends toward the outside of the bearing and extends to be disposed radially outwardly of the guide is formed at a bearing-outward side face of the first seal member. The axial lip is disposed in non-contact, close relation to the guide to form a labyrinth. A radially outwardly-open groove is formed in a joint portion of the axial lip joined to the first seal member.

Clutch release bearing

In a sealing device for a bearing, a sub-seal lip is configured such that a slide contact surface is formed like an annular band. As the rotation speed of the bearing increases, the width of the slide contact surface is reduced by a centrifugal force. Thus, sliding friction can effectively be minimized. The torque of the bearing can be prevented from increasing at high-speed rotation. Even when the centrifugal force increases somewhat, only reduction in the width of the slide contact surface is caused. Thus, a slide-contacted state can be maintained. Consequently, the problem of floating-up of the sub-seal lip from a slinger is difficult to occur.

Sealing device for bearing

The present invention comprises a pulley, a shaft body which is rotatable relative to the pulley and is concentrically disposed radially inside of the pulley, a one-way clutch which is interposed at an annular space between the pulley and the shaft body, a rolling bearing which is disposed in the annular space adjacent to the one-way clutch in an axial direction, an inner annular seal which is provided outside the rolling bearing in the annular space, and an outer annular seal which is provided outside the inner annular seal and has a proximal end portion and a distal end side lip. The proximal end portion of the outer annular seal is fixed to one of an inner peripheral surface of the pulley and an outer peripheral surface of the shaft body, and the distal end side lip of the outer annular seal contacts the other peripheral surface.

Pulley unit

A sealing device for a rolling bearing includes: a seal mounting groove formed to a shoulder of a raceway groove of a fixed ring; a circumferential step formed to a shoulder of the raceway groove of the rotational ring; and an annular resilient sealing member fit into the seal mounting groove, a sealing lip of the sealing member being brought into contact with a lateral surface of the circumferential step. The sealing member includes a fluoro resin and 10-60 parts by weight of a filler based on 100 parts by weight of the fluoro resin, and the filler includes a first filler having a Mohs hardness of 6 or more and 8 or less in amount of 25%-75% by weight or less of the filler, and a second filler having a Mohs hardness of less than 6 as the remaining portion.

Sealing device for rolling bearing

A four-point ball bearing includes: an inner ring and an outer ring defining raceway grooves, respectively. Each of the raceway grooves is constituted by two circular arcs different in curvature provided on opposite sides of a widthwise center of the raceway groove. A plurality of balls are arranged between the inner and outer rings so that the balls can roll. In at least one of the raceway grooves, a center of curvature of one of the circular arcs and a center of curvature of the other circular arc are displaced from each other at least in a radial direction so that spin is generated in each of the balls.

Four-point contact ball bearing

A rolling bearing such as a rolling bearing for an alternator of an automobile, the life period of which is prevented from being shortened due to the temporal reduction of a radial internal clearance even in a high temperature environment. The rolling bearing includes a plurality of rolling elements rotatably arranged between an inner race and an outer race, and at least the inner race and the outer race are made of a steel material. An austenite residual rate of the inner race is smaller than an austenite residual rate of the outer race. The amount of dimensional expansion of the outer race due to the martensite transformation of residual austenite is larger than that of the inner race, so that the occurrence of clearance loss is suppressed even when dimensional expansion of the rolling elements occurs.

Rolling bearing

A one-way clutch for switching a power transmitting state and a power transmission interrupting state between an inner ring member and an outer ring member. At a plurality of circumferential portions of one of the inner ring member and the outer ring member, there are formed cam faces between the circumference of the one of the inner and outer ring members for forming wedge-shaped spaces which are narrowed in one circumferential direction. These cam faces are made to have a higher hardness than that of rollers which are individually arranged in the wedge-shaped spaces. As a result, the cam faces are suppressed from wear as the time elapses, and the wedge angle of the wedge-shaped spaces is kept substantially constant.

One-way clutch

A one-way clutch has an annular space through which an outer ring and an inner ring face each other, the outer ring and the inner ring being disposed inside and outside each other in a diameter direction and concentrically with each other. A lubricant for lubricating an inner peripheral face of the outer ring and an outer peripheral face of the inner ring on which rollers roll is prepared by mixing a urea-based consistency increasing agent into ester-based or synthetic oil-based base oil with a pressure viscosity coefficient (at a temperature of 25&deg; C.) set at 12 GPa or more. The lubricant provides for movement of state switching components to be stabilized even at a low temperature and wear of the state switching components and operating faces can be suppressed even at a high temperature.

A one-way clutch has rollers individually disposed in wedge-shaped spaces formed at positions along a circumference between an inner annular body and an outer annular body which are disposed concentrically. The wedge angle of each wedge-shaped space is fixed at a preferred value. As a result, an engagement position of the roller becomes shallow when the roller is positioned on a narrower side of the wedge-shaped space and gaps between the roller and the inner and outer annular bodies become small when the roller is positioned on a wider side of the wedge-shaped space. Therefore, the rollers move smoothly when switching between the lock state and the free state.

A one-way clutch for switching between a locking state in which an inner wheel and an outer wheel rotate synchronously, and a free state in which they rotate relative to each other. The one-way clutch includes a holding device having pockets for accommodating rollers provided at several positions on its circumference, and coil springs which are accommodated in each of the pockets in a compressed state for urging the rollers to a locking side of a pocket. The coil springs are in contact at points which span over 1/2 the width of the roller in the axial direction of the roller. As a result, a balanced urging force of the coil spring can be supplied to the roller, so that the rollers rotate smoothly and with a proper posture. Deflection of the coil springs is inhibited by alignment portions included at a surface of each pocket.

One-way clutch and auxiliary machine using the same

In an annular space between a pulley and a shaft body disposed coaxially with each other, a one-way clutch is interposed in an intermediate range in an axial direction and rolling bearings are disposed on both sides in the axial direction of the one-way clutch. A tightening distance for fitting between the one-way clutch and pulley is set to be smaller than that between the rolling bearing and pulley. Due to this structure, in a condition in which an excessive radial load acts upon the pulley, that radial load acts on not the one-way clutch but the rolling bearings on both sides thereof, so that a clutch operation of the one-way clutch can be carried out stably.

A pulley unit comprising two inner and outer annular bodies disposed coaxially and a one-way clutch interposed in an annular space between both the annular bodies, both ends in the axial direction of the annular space being sealed by a seal and at least the sealed portion of at least one seal being hidden by an annular member mounted to the inner annular body. By this structure, the sealed portion by the seal is protected from a direct splash of water, so that invasion of water through the sealed portion becomes unlikely to occur.

A sealing device for a bearing comprises a first bearing member having a peripheral shoulder portion, a second bearing member, and a seal member integrally connected to the second bearing member and having an inner peripheral portion and an inner peripheral seal lip extending from the inner peripheral portion. The inner peripheral seal lip has first projections extending in a first direction towards a surface of the peripheral shoulder portion of the first bearing member and second projections extending in a second direction opposite the first direction. One of the first projections is initially disposed in contact with the surface of the peripheral shoulder portion of the first bearing member. When the first projection of the inner peripheral seal lip which is initially in contact with the surface of the peripheral shoulder portion of the first bearing member undergoes a predetermined amount of wear, at least one of the other first projections of the inner peripheral seal lip comes in contact with the surface of the peripheral shoulder portion of the first bearing member to maintain an adequate seal therebetween.

Sealing device for roller bearing

Zn-Ni-alloy electroplating of steel sheets is carried out using a plating bath containing 10-40 g/l zinc, 15-160 g/l nickel, 0.1-5 g/l cobalt and 0.2-10 g/l titanium and 0.1-5 g/l aluminum or 0.1-5 g/l magnesium existing in the form of salts, the pH of which is 1.5-2.5. The obtained plated product exhibits improved excellent corrosion resistance and corrosion peeling resistance. The product can be subjected to heating to 60.degree.-200.degree. C., preferably in hot water, steam, or atomized water mist. This treatment further increases corrosion resistance.

Product of and process for preparing Zn-Ni-alloy-electroplated steel

Improved Zn-Ni-alloy-electroplated steel sheet can be prepared by electroplating steel sheet with an acid electroplating bath containing Zn ions, Ni ions and a small amount of titanium ions, preferably after pre-electroplating with an electroplating bath containing Zn ions and a larger amount of Ni ions and heating the plating sheet in the presence of water.
