A disposable pull-on wearing article including a pant-shaped chassis and an absorbent panel. A pull-on wearing article includes a pants-shaped chassis and an absorbent panel. The chassis has a front portion including a front waist region and part of a crotch region and a rear portion including a rear waist region and part of the crotch region. The front portion has a plurality of front waist elastics extending in a width direction and the rear portion has a plurality of rear waist elastics extending in the width direction. A bottom elastic of the front waist elastics and a bottom elastic of the rear waist elastics are in a stretched state in front peripheral edge portion and rear peripheral edge portion of respective leg-openings and in a relaxed state in a portion of the crotch region defined between a pair of the leg-openings.

Disposable pull-on wearing article

A disposable wearing article is provided with a pair of liquid-barrier sheets on a body-side surface of the article. A dimension by which distal edges of distal zones of the barrier sheets are spaced from each other in a transverse direction is gradually enlarged from a rear end toward a front end of the article. An end sheet functioning to pull the distal zones closer to each other in the transverse direction is attached to the distal zones extending toward the rear end so as to extend between the distal zones.

A disposable wearing article has an elasticized first band lying in a front half of a crotch region and attached to distal zones of a pair of leak-barrier sheets provided on a body side of the article and an elasticized second band lying in a rear half of the crotch region and attached to the distal zones. A dimension by which distal edge segments of the distal zones extending forward from the first band in a longitudinal direction are spaced from each other is gradually enlarged from the side of the first band toward the side of a front waist region.

In a disposable diaper, the crotch region is divided by a front folding guide and a rear folding guide into a front section, a rear section and an intermediate section. The crotch region is provided on the side of its inner surface with a pair of contracting members extending in a longitudinal direction and spaced from each other. Front portions of the respective contracting members are fixed to the inner surface of the diaper in positions anterior to a line bisecting a longitudinal dimension of the intermediate section, while rear portions of the respective contracting members are fixed to the inner surface of the diaper in positions posterior to the intermediate section, so that intermediate portions of the respective contracting members may be spaced from the inner surface of the diaper and elastically contractible in the longitudinal direction.

A disposable wearing article is provided with a skin-contactable panel laid in a front half of a crotch region of the article and a liquid-impervious partition laid in a vicinity of a transverse center line of the article. The panel has transversely opposite side edges bonded to transverse opposite side portion of the article and a intermediate region defined between these side edges. The partition has an upper edge bonded to the panel, a lower edge bonded to a topsheet of the article transversely opposite side edges bonded to the side portions of the article and a middle portion defined between the upper and lower edges. The intermediate region of the panel describes an upward convex circular arc above the topsheet and the middle portion of the partition is unfolded in a thickness direction of the article so as to form a pocket-like barrier against movement of bodily wastes.

In a disposable diaper having a feces retaining pocket formed by body fluid absorbent panel sections overlapping each other in a crotch covering region so that the feces retaining pocket can be largely opened, a second panel section overlaps on a first panel section in the crotch covering region of the diaper to form the feces retaining pocket. The crotch covering region is provided along transversely opposite side edges thereof with elastically stretch- and contractable leak-barrier cuffs. Inner side edges of the respective leak-barrier cuffs are bonded to the second panel section in the vicinity of a rear end of the second panel section lying in the crotch covering region.

A disposable diaper has a through-hole formed in an inner sheet destined to come in contact with a wearer's skin so that this through-hole may communicate with a pocket for receiving feces. The inner sheet is formed with an elastic area extending in a longitudinal direction along transversely opposite side edges of the through-hole. In a crotch region of the diaper, a stiffening sheet strips are attached to the inner sheet between the transversely opposite side edges of the diaper and the transversely opposite side edges so that the respective stiffening sheet strips extend in a transverse direction.

A disposable wearing article includes a partition provided in a front half of a crotch region divided by a transverse centerline bisecting a longitudinal dimension of the article so that the partition extends in the transverse direction on a topsheet. During use of the article, the partition curves in the transverse direction so as to describe a generally circular arc which is convex upward above the topsheet. The partition is thus spaced upward from the topsheet and the wearer's genital organ in contact with an outer surface of the partition is also spaced from the topsheet. In this way, the genital organ is protected from soiling with loose passage.

An absorbent article such as a disposable diaper is provided with an indicator adapted to become visible as soon as bodily fluid is discharged. The indicator includes a composite nonwoven fabric composed of a hydrophilic melt blown nonwoven fabric layer and a hydrophilic spun bond nonwoven fabric layer on which a display element is depicted and laminated on one surface of the hydrophilic melt blown nonwoven fabric layer. A first surface of the composite nonwoven fabric facing an absorbent core of the diaper is held together with the display element and a second surface of the composite nonwoven fabric facing a backsheet of the diaper is held in close contact with the inner surface of the backsheet.

A disposable wearing article includes a holder member which is composed of a front waist region, a rear waist region and a crotch region and a bodily discharge receiving member. The holder member is formed with a through-hole in the crotch region while the receiving member has a protrusion adapted to be inserted into the through-hole from the outer side of the wearing article and to define a concavity which can receive and retain bodily discharges.
