A power tool can receive two different auxiliary handles in a replaceable manner. A power tool includes a tool body, a main handle, a cylindrical handle mount to which a first auxiliary handle or a second auxiliary handle is attachable and having a groove, the first auxiliary handle, and the second auxiliary handle. The first auxiliary handle includes an arc-shaped first band, a band holder that changes the diameter of the first band, and a first protrusion engageable with the groove. The second auxiliary handle includes an arc-shaped second band having a cutout in an axial direction, a fastener that changes the diameter of the second band, and a second protrusion engageable with the groove.

Power tool and hammer drill

A hammer drill includes a boss sleeve rotatably and externally mounted to an intermediate shaft separately from the intermediate shaft. The boss sleeve includes a rod coupled to a rear end of a piston cylinder via a swash bearing. The boss sleeve is configured to rotate to convert a rotation of the intermediate shaft into a reciprocating motion in a front-rear direction of the rod and transmit the reciprocating motion to the piston cylinder. The hammer drill includes a second clutch disposed at the intermediate shaft. By performing a switch operation of a slide position of the second clutch, a hammer mode in which the second clutch is engaged with the boss sleeve to reciprocate the piston cylinder back and forth and another operation mode are selectable. The boss sleeve is rotatably cantilevered not to be in contact with the intermediate shaft by an inner housing via a bearing.

A rebar tying tool may include: a reel including a bobbin and a wire wound around the bobbin, wherein the bobbin includes a detection target portion; a reel attaching part to which the reel is rotatably attached; a feeding unit configured to feed the wire from the bobbin around rebars; a twisting unit configured to twist the wire around the rebars; a plurality of detectors configured to detect the detection target portion; and a support supporting the reel attaching part, the feeding unit, the twisting unit, and the plurality of detectors. The plurality of detectors may be disposed along a rotation direction of the reel and configured to detect the detection target portion as the reel rotates.

Rebar tying tool and reel

A reciprocating tool includes a motor, a motion converting mechanism, a body housing, an inner housing, a support body, and a counterweight. The motion converting mechanism is operably coupled to a motor shaft and is configured to convert rotation into a linear reciprocating motion along a driving axis. The inner housing is within the body housing and houses at least a portion of the motion converting mechanism. The support body is originally separate from the inner housing and is attached to the inner housing in the body housing. The counterweight is operably coupled to the motion converting mechanism and is configured to be driven by the motion converting mechanism. The counterweight is supported by the support body to be pivotable around a pivot axis that extends in a direction orthogonal to the driving axis. At least a portion of the counterweight is housed in the inner housing.

Reciprocating tool

An auxiliary handle for a work tool reduces vibrations transmitted to a grip. An auxiliary handle for a work tool is an auxiliary handle detachably attachable to the work tool. The auxiliary handle includes an attachment being elongated, elastically deformable, and windable around an outer circumference of the work tool, a threaded shaft including a basal portion connected to two ends of the attachment, a base being cylindrical and receiving the threaded shaft, a distal member being adjacent to a distal end of the base and receiving a distal end of the threaded shaft screwed into the distal member, and a grip being cylindrical and covering the base.

Auxiliary handle for work tool

A power tool having a hammer mechanism, including: a connecting part connectable with a dust collector, and with a connection flow path to suck in the air from the dust collector to generate a suction power in the dust collector; a motor with a rotating shaft; a first fan to rotate with the rotating shaft and generate a first air flow to cool down the motor; a second fan to rotate with the first fan and generate a second air flow to generate the suction power; a housing with a first exhaust port to discharge the first air flow and a second exhaust port to discharge the second air flow; a first exhaust flow path to guide the first air flow to the first exhaust port; and a second exhaust flow path separated from the first exhaust flow path to guide the second air flow to the second exhaust port.

Power tool having a hammer mechanism

A work tool includes a motor, a driving mechanism, a body housing and a handle. The driving mechanism is configured to perform an operation of linearly reciprocating the tool accessory along a driving axis extending in a front-rear direction. The handle includes a grip part extending substantially in an up-down direction, and a battery-mounting part provided on a lower side of the grip part. An upper end portion of the handle is connected to a rear end portion of the body housing via an elastic member so as to be movable relative to the body housing. A lower end portion of the handle is connected to the rear end portion of the body housing so as to be rotatable relative to the body housing, around a rotation axis extending in a left-right direction. The rotation axis is located on a lower side of the battery-mounting part.

Work tool

A dust collection cup includes a cylindrical attachment to cause a bit to extend through the attachment, a cylindrical dust collector located in front of the attachment to cause the bit to extend through the dust collector, a seal between the attachment and the dust collector and having a through-hole to receive the bit, and a connection port connectable to a dust collection hose and located on an outer circumferential surface of the attachment outward in a radial direction of the bit from the seal and rearward from the seal. The connection port has a distance in the radial direction of the bit from an axis of the attachment to an outermost position longer than a distance in the radial direction of the bit from the axis to a position on the outer circumferential surface of the attachment that is opposite to the outermost position from the axis.

Dust collection cup and power tool

A power tool, such as a rotary hammer, includes a housing, an output shaft for mounting a tool accessary and a motor having a motor shaft that generates a rotational output for rotating and linearly hammering the output shaft. The rotational output of the motor shaft is coupled to the output shaft via a driving mechanism that includes a hammer mechanism. An intervening member is axially movable relative to the motor shaft and is operably coupled between the motor shaft and the hammer mechanism. The hammer mechanism and the output shaft are supported by a movable support that is axially movable relative to the housing. Because the output shaft and the driving mechanism are movable relative to the motor and the housing, which preferably includes handle, via the intervening member and the movable support during hammering operations, vibration generated during hammering operations can be dampened before reaching the housing.

Power tool having hammer mechanism

The power tool includes: a handle; a biasing member for biasing the handle in a direction away from a final output shaft in the axial direction; at least one guiding member disposed between a housing and a first part of the handle so as to extend in the axial direction and configured to slidably guide relative movement between the handle and the housing; and at least one elastic member disposed at least one of between the at least one guiding member and the housing and between the at least one guiding member and the first part of the handle. The at least one guiding member is disposed so as to be movable relative to the housing or the handle in a crossing direction that crosses the axial direction by elastic deformation of the at least one elastic member in the crossing direction.

A power tool including a vibration isolator can be downsized in a relative movement direction and reduce damage to wiring. A hammer drill includes a front housing including an output unit and a motor, a rear housing separate from the front housing and including a switch to be movable relative to the front housing in a front-rear direction, a vibration isolator located between the front housing and the rear housing and including a coil spring, a lead wire electrically connecting the motor and the switch, and a lead wire holder holding a middle portion of the lead wire in a lateral direction.

A power tool having a hammer mechanism has a tool body that houses a motor and a driving mechanism and extends in a front-rear direction; a handle including a grip part that extends in an up-down direction orthogonal to the front-rear direction behind the tool body and has a lower end formed as a free end and is arranged below the driving axis; and a plurality of biasing members configured to elastically connect the tool body and the handle. The biasing members include at least one first biasing member arranged above the driving axis in the up-down direction, and at least one second biasing member arranged below the driving axis in the up-down direction. In this power tool, a biasing force of the at least one second biasing member is larger than a biasing force of the at least one first biasing member.

A power tool having a hammer mechanism includes a tool body defining the driving axis, a motor housed in the tool body, an elongate handle connected to the tool body in a cantilever manner and extending in a direction intersecting the driving axis, and at least one biasing member disposed between the tool body and the handle. The motor has a motor shaft that is rotatable around an axis parallel to the driving axis. The handle includes a first end portion connected to the tool body to be pivotable around a pivot axis relative to the tool body, a free end, and a grip part disposed between the first end portion and a free end of the handle. The at least one biasing member is configured to pivotally bias the tool body and the handle such that the grip part and the tool body move away from each other.

A power tool comprises a motor, a final output shaft, a tool body, a detection device, and a braking device. The motor has a motor body including a stator and a rotor, and a motor shaft extending from the rotor and being rotatable around a first rotational axis. The final output shaft is configured to be rotationally driven around a second rotational axis by torque transmitted from the motor shaft. The tool body houses the motor and the final output shaft. The detection device is configured to detect a locking state of the final output shaft. The braking device is configured to directly act on the motor shaft to brake the motor shaft in response to detection of the locking state.

A dust collection cup allows a bit tip to be viewable without being detached or replaced. A dust collection cup is attachable to a front cylindrical portion of a hammer drill. The dust collection cup in an attached state allows a bit attached to the front cylindrical portion to extend through the dust collection cup. The dust collection cup includes an attachment attachable to the front cylindrical portion, and a body connectable to the attachment. The body includes an extendable unit including at least a portion in an axial direction retaining a predetermined length.
