A saddled electric vehicle () having a battery () that is attachable to and detachable from the vehicle () includes a vehicle electronic lock () which enables the vehicle () to be locked and unlocked, a lock control unit () which controls the vehicle electronic lock (), and a sub battery () which supplies electric power to the lock control unit (), in which the lock control unit () enables the vehicle to be unlocked in a state in which the battery () is removed from the vehicle ().

Saddled electric vehicle

Various battery arrangement structures are presented for a saddle-riding type vehicle. An arrangement can be configured to protect a battery from external impact, and can include a pair of left and right rear frames disposed at the rear section of the vehicle with a battery disposed between the pair of left and right rear frames. The pair of left and right rear frames include a pair of left and right first rear frames and a pair of left and right second rear frames. A power unit-supporting portion which swingably supports a power unit is provided at rear portions of the pair of left and right rear extension portions, and the battery is disposed between the pair of left and right second rear frames and above the power unit-supporting portion.

A saddle type electric vehicle () includes a charging cord () that is connectable to an external power supply, a cord accommodating section () configured to accommodate a charging cord (), and a vehicle body cover () on which a cord accommodating section () provided, a vehicle body cover () includes a cover inclined surface (CS) inclined with respect to a ground plane, the cover inclined surface (CS) includes an inclined surface upper section (CS) located on an upper section of the cover inclined surface (CS), and in the cord accommodating section (), a cord drawing section () disposed in the vicinity of the inclined surface upper section (CS) and configured to draw the charging cord () into the cord accommodating section () and an accommodating space () configured to accommodate the charging cord () drawn from the cord drawing section () from the vicinity of the inclined surface upper section (CS) to a lower section of the cord accommodating section () are provided.

Saddle type electric vehicle

In an electric saddle-ridden vehicle including a swing arm, a power unit supported on an arm portion of the swing arm while having an electric motor and a reduction gear reducing in speed an output of the electric motor and transmitting it to a wheel side of the rear wheel, and a wheel brake provided on the wheel, the power unit is arranged so that the reduction gear is disposed to one side in the vehicle width direction with the rear wheel on the opposite side with respect to the electric motor and the electric motor is disposed closer to a vehicle body center line than the reduction gear in the vehicle width direction, and the wheel brake is provided on the wheel so as to be capable of being accessed from the other side in the vehicle width direction, which is the side opposite to the power unit.

Electric saddle-ridden vehicle

A cylindrical battery includes a pair of female terminals. One of the pair of female terminals is placed at the axial center of the battery, and provided to recede from one end surface of the battery. The other terminal is placed in a position away from the axial center, to recede from the one end surface of the battery. A male thread portion is provided on an outer peripheral surface of the battery. A handle portion is provided on another end surface of the battery. A female thread portion to be threadedly engaged with the male thread portion is provided in an inner peripheral surface of the battery box. A pair of male terminals are provided on a bottom surface of the battery box. The battery is designed to be detachably mounted inside the battery box by being rotated inside the battery box.

Structure for mounting cylindrical battery on electric vehicle

A three-wheeled vehicle having two steerable front wheels is provided with steering structure configured to enhance turning performance during banking of a vehicle body. A bushing is secured to the vehicle body, and includes an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder connected by an elastic member. Knuckles, for pivotally supporting the front wheels, are supported by knuckle supports installed on steering arms secured to the outer cylinder. A first lever mounted on a steering shaft is connected via a connecting rod to a second lever mounted on a sub-steering shaft pivotally passing through the inner cylinder. A third lever installed on the sub-steering shaft is connected to the knuckles via corresponding tie rods. A rigid rod has a first end connected to a fourth lever secured to the outer cylinder via a first universal joint and a second end connected to the body frame via a second universal joint.

Three-wheeled vehicle with steering apparatus configured for enhanced operation during a banking turn

An electric vehicle includes a double-sided swing arm that supports a motor shaft, an axle, and a wheel by supporting a motor on one side of the wheel and a reduction mechanism on the other side of the wheel. In this case, the swing arm is composed of, on the one side of the wheel, plural separable arm portions. The arm portions have respective separation points on an outside or outer periphery of the wheel. With the components arranged in this manner, weight balance of the electric vehicle is easily achieved, and the operational efficiency of mounting, removal, and replacement of the wheel and the motor is improved.
