An electronic timepiece includes: a 6 o'clock information display unit that displays one display mode among a plurality of display modes including a barometric display mode in which a barometric pressure is displayed, using a first display hand; a 10 o'clock information display unit that displays a change in the barometric pressure using a second hand in a case in which the display mode displayed by the 6 o'clock information display unit is the barometric display mode; a 2 o'clock information display unit that displays the barometric pressure using measurement display hands in the case in which the display mode displayed by the 6 o'clock information display unit is the barometric display mode; and a time display unit that displays a time using an hour hand and a minute hand irrespective of the display mode.

Electronic timepiece

An electronic timepiece includes a sensor, a dial plate, and a subdial. The sensor is configured to execute a measurement. The dial plate has hands that indicate a time. The subdial is disposed on the dial plate and has a subdial hand and a first region indicating that the measurement is being executed. The subdial hand points to the first region when the sensor executes the measurement.

A biological information detection device includes: a light emitting unit which irradiates a subject with light; a first light receiving unit which receives light from the subject; a second light receiving unit which receives light from the subject; and a beam which is provided between the first light receiving unit and the second light receiving unit, in a plan view in a vertical direction of a light receiving surface of the first light receiving unit.

In a turning direction of the first pointer, a distance between the &#x201c;ALT&#x201d; area and &#x201c;COM&#x201d; area and a distance between the &#x201c;COM&#x201d; area and &#x201c;BAR&#x201d; area are shorter than a distance between the &#x201c;ALT&#x201d; area and &#x201c;BAR&#x201d; area.

Electronic watch

An electronic timepiece includes a letter plate that has an ALT region, a BAR region, and a COM region and a first display hand that displays indication of an altitude display mode by pointing the ALT region, displays indication of a barometric display mode by pointing the BAR region, and displays indication of an azimuth display mode by pointing the COM region. In the letter plate, the ALT region, the BAR region, and the COM region are arranged in a line in this sequence. In a rotation direction of the first display hand, a distance between the ALT region and the BAR region and a distance between the BAR region and the COM region are shorter than a distance between the COM region and the ALT region.

A biological information detector includes a wristband, a housing, an opening, a light-emitting part, a reflecting part, a light-receiving part, and a protecting part. The opening is defined in a surface of the housing adapted to face a surface of the wrist of the user. The light-emitting part is disposed inside the housing and configured to emit green light. The reflecting part is disposed in periphery of the light emitting part, and configured to reflect the light emitted by the light-emitting part, wherein the reflecting part is disposed inside the housing. The light-receiving part is disposed inside the housing, and configured to receive reflected light reflected at a detection site of the wrist of the user. A wrist device, which is an antenna built-in portable device, includes an armor case including an opening at least on the front surface side, glass that closes the opening, a metal bezel attached to the front surface of the armor case and arranged around the glass, and an antenna arranged in a space on the inner side of the armor case. The antenna is a planar antenna, a maximum radiation direction of which is arranged to be directed toward the outer side of the bezel crossing the thickness direction of the armor case. The antenna is arranged in a position not overlapping the bezel in the maximum radiation direction of the antenna. At least a part of the antenna overlaps at least a part of the bezel in the thickness direction of the armor case.

A device for measuring biological information by being worn on a person includes a sensor unit subjected to measure biological information, a device main unit provided with a concavity and subjected to accommodate the sensor unit, and a holding unit supported on one side by the sensor unit and on the other side by the device main unit; wherein the holding unit is elastic and has a space on one side of the concavity to hold the sensor unit so that at least part of the sensor unit extends outside from the device main unit, and wherein the sensor unit is displaced relative to the device main unit by elastic deformation in accordance with an external force applied to the sensor unit.

The wristband is adapted to be attached to a body of a user. The light-emitting part is configured to emit green light. The light-receiving part is configured to receive reflected light reflected at a detection site of the body of the user. The protecting part is configured to protect the light-emitting part, the protecting part having a contact surface configured to contact with the detection site. The acceleration sensor is configured to detect acceleration generated by the user. The processing part is configured to process a light reception signal outputted from the light-receiving part.

A biological information detector includes a light-emitting part, a reflecting part, a light-receiving part, a protecting part, and a processing part. The reflecting part has a curve shaped reflecting surface that is configured to reflect light emitted by the light-emitting part. The light-receiving part is configured to receive incident light that is emitted by the light-emitting part and reflected at a detection site of a user. The protecting part is configured to protect the light-emitting part, and the protecting part haw a contact surface adapted to contact with the detection site. The processing part is configured to process a light-receiving signal outputted from the light-receiving part. The light-emitting part has a light-emitting surface substantially in parallel to the contact surface, and a distance between the light-emitting surface and the contact surface is within a range of 0.4 mm to 0.9 mm.

An optical device comprises a substrate having a first surface and a second surface being opposite the first surface; a light-emitting element having a first center, installed on the second surface; and a light-receiving element having a second center, installed on the first surface. At least a part of the light-emitting element is arranged at a position, overlapping the light-receiving element with respect to a plan view; the light-receiving element, installed after the light-emitting element, has a bonding pad, provided at a position displaced relative to the second center towards a first direction with respect to the plan view; and the first center is provided at a position displaced relative to the second center towards a second direction, being opposite the first direction DR, with respect to the plan view.

Method for manufacturing optical device, optical device, and biological information detector

To reduce the effect of directly reflected light on a contact-surface side of a contact member, a biological information detector includes a light-emitting part, a light-receiving part, a reflecting part, a protecting part for protecting the light-emitting part, and a substrate. The protecting member is formed from a material that is transparent with respect to a wavelength of the light emitted by the light-emitting part and has a contact member provided with a contact surface in contact with the detection site. Light emitted from the light-emitting part is inhibited from reflecting once on a contact-surface side of the contact member of the protecting part and being incident on a light-receiving region of the light-receiving part.
