A control device according to the present disclosure is to provide greater safety than in the conventional system for the occupant while alighting from the vehicle. A control deviceis mounted on a vehicle. The control deviceincludes an attention degree estimation unitand an alighting restriction unit. Based on at least one of results detected by an occupant sensorfor detecting motion of an occupant of the vehicleand detected by a vehicle sensorfor detecting a state of the vehicle, the attention degree estimation unitestimates a degree of attention of the occupant to an approaching object approaching the vehicle. When the degree of attention of the occupant estimated by the attention degree estimation unitis below the predetermined threshold, the alighting restriction unitcauses at least one of the door opening/closing device, the audio output device, and the image display devicein the vehicleto execute the alighting restriction operation.

Control device

Provided is a vehicle control device capable of preventing a delay in driver's bank angle operation during traveling of a straddle type vehicle on a curve and enhancing safety of the vehicle. The vehicle control deviceis a device that is mounted on a two-wheeled motor vehicle and controls the vehicle to travel while following a preceding vehicle. The vehicle control deviceincludes a curvature acquisition unitthat acquires a curvature of a road in front of the vehicle and a driving force control unitthat limits a change amount of driving force of the vehicle per unit time based on the curvature acquired by the curvature acquisition unit

Vehicle control device

A vehicle control device includes a counting unit that counts rotation of wheels by a sensor; and a rotation determination unit that determines the rotation based on a count value of each of the wheels obtained by the counting unit. Based on a movement distance of a vehicle, the movement distance of each of the wheels from rotation detection to the next rotation detection is defined as a rotation detection travel distance of each of the wheels. The rotation determination unit determines a rotation direction of a wheel a second time is a direction opposite to that detected for a first time when rotation detection is not performed even once for a first reference wheel having a rotation detection travel distance equal to or less than a rotation detection travel distance of the first determination target wheel while the rotation of the selected first determination target wheel is detected twice.

The vehicle stop position accuracy is improved. A parking assist device, which assists parking of a vehicle at a target stop position, includes: a traveling distance calculation unit that calculates a traveling distance of the vehicle based on a wheel speed pulse; and a braking/driving force calculation unit that determines a remaining distance to the target stop position based on the traveling distance, and switches control of the braking force of the vehicle from feedback control to feedforward control when the remaining distance becomes a value equal to or less than a predetermined value.

Parking assist device and parking assist method

When one sensors fails and thus malfunctions during automatic parking of a vehicle, only the other sensor functions. Accordingly, depending on the behavior of the vehicle, the detection characteristics of the other sensor cause degradation in recognition of the vehicle, hindering the automatic parking from being continued. In processing S, a determination is made whether or not an external recognition device, such as a camera or sonar, malfunctions. In processing S, based on the determination on malfunction of the external recognition device, a determination is made whether or not to restrict vehicle speed or to restrict a path, with reference to restriction information for parking control. The restriction information for parking control provides information for restricting the vehicle speed in accordance with the malfunction of the camera, and for restricting the path in accordance with the malfunction of the sonar. Next, in processing S, a determination is made whether or not the automatic parking is in progress. When the automatic parking is in progress, the process proceeds to processing Swhere vehicle speed control or the like is performed for the automatic parking in accordance with the malfunction of the external recognition device.

Parking assistance apparatus

A vehicle control device that is capable of performing abnormality determination of a sensor by majority decision without increasing the number of sensors. A vehicle control device includes a camera and a radar configured to detect a predetermined detection target; and a communication device configured to communicate with outside. The vehicle control device determines whether there is an abnormality in the camera and the radar on the basis of: first acquisition means configured to acquire information on the predetermined detection target from each of the camera and the radar; second acquisition means configured to acquire information, on the predetermined detection target, detected by a road-to-vehicle communication device external to an own vehicle and received by the communication device; information from the camera and the radar acquired by the first acquisition means; and information from the road-to-vehicle communication device external to the own vehicle acquired by the second acquisition means.
