A vehicle battery cooling system that cools a battery built in an electrically powered vehicle includes a water storage tank, a circulating mechanism, a nozzle, a radiating fin, and a processor. The water storage tank is disposed inside the electrically powered vehicle and near the battery, and stores cooling water for cooling the battery. The circulating mechanism causes, when electric power is supplied from an external facility to the battery, the cooling water supplied from the external facility to circulate through the battery and the water storage tank. The nozzle injects the cooling water supplied from the circulating mechanism into a predetermined part of the electrically powered vehicle. The radiating fin is foldable and controls heat transfer between the battery and the water storage tank. The processor controls respective operations of the circulating mechanism and the nozzle, and switching between open and closed states of the radiating fin.

A battery temperature regulating apparatus includes an onboard battery, a temperature regulating plate, a heat exchanger including a container and a first internal passage, first to third passages, a radiator, a valve, a temperature sensor, and a control device including a processor and a memory. The processor is configured to execute, in cooperation with a program included in the memory, a process including determining whether a temperature of the onboard battery is higher than an upper threshold of a proper temperature range, determining whether a heat source is in the container at least based on the temperature of a first heat medium detected by the temperature sensor, and if the temperature of the onboard battery is higher than the upper threshold and that the heat source is in the container, controlling the valve in such a way as to allow the first heat medium to flow through the heat exchanger.

Battery temperature regulating apparatus

A charging control apparatus includes a battery, an electric charge mover, and a processor. The battery includes multiple cells. The electric charge mover is configured to move electric charge between the multiple cells. The processor is configured to, upon charging the battery, cause the electric charge mover to move the electric charge of one or more cells serving as a part of the multiple cells to another one or more cells of the multiple cells, and perform a partial charging that charges the one or more cells serving as the part of the multiple cells after causing the electric charge mover to move the electric charge.

The invention relates to a connector comprising a housing, a spring biased contact surface facing in a front direction of said connector for establishing a contact with a connector counterpart, said contact surface being movable within a working area against a spring force from a first rest position to a second connecting position by a force directed to the contact surface upon establishing a contact with the connector counterpart. In order to achieve a connector which makes it possible to keep the contact force at an appropriate and substantially constant level, said connector comprises a rolled spring with an outer end protruding in said front direction of said connector; said protruding end is attached to the housing of said connector, whereby said rolled spring is at least partly unrolled when said contact surface is moved against the spring force.

An insulative casing has a bottom face to be mounted on a board member. A conductive pin is disposed in the casing so as to be slidable in a first direction parallel to the bottom face. A conductive terminal is disposed in the casing and has at least one elastic piece which is always brought into contact with an outer periphery of the pin from a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. An elastic member is disposed between the pin and the terminal so that a tip end of the pin is projected from the casing while being retractable in the first direction.

A self-opening mechanism for a cap is capable of maintaining a restoring force of an elastic member and easily and tightly locking the cap and also releasing the locking. The mechanism has an elastic member () that is attached to an inner side of a hinge (), and also a stopper block () is provided in a direction in which the elastic member () deforms so that the elastic member () deforms to an S-shaped form. Engagement pieces () in the cap () side are inserted into and fixed between hooks () of a push piece () and a protruding engagement pieces () to lock the cap more tightly. As the hook () moves upward and moves away from the protruding engagement pieces () when the push piece () is pressed, the engagement pieces () are released and a cover () automatically opens due to the restoring force of the elastic member ().
