A centrifugal air-sending device has blades that each have a vane length in a first region that is greater than a vane length in a second region, and are each formed such that a proportion for which a turbo vane portion accounts is higher in a radial direction than a proportion for which a sirocco vane portion accounts in the first region and the second region. The blades that are located closer to an outer circumference than is a blade inner diameter of inner circumferential ends of the blades at end portions of the blades that are close to a side plate in an axial direction are defined as a blade outer circumferential portion that is formed such that a vane thickness of each of the blades in decreased in the radial direction from an inner circumference toward the outer circumference.

Centrifugal air-sending device and air-conditioning apparatus

An air blowing device and an air blowing system reduces a region where a person cannot be recognized in a space provided with the air blower, and achieves control of the air blower in view of a person in a larger range in the space. The air blower includes: a first sensor configured to detect a position of a human in a first human detection range; a receiver configured to receive a detection result of a second sensor transmitted from a transmitter of a sensor-mounted device, the sensor-mounted device including the second sensor configured to detect a position of a human in a second human detection range; and a controller configured to perform air blowing control when the first sensor does not detect a human in the first human detection range and the second sensor detects a human in the second human detection range.

An air purifying operation is performed with a consideration for an influence of a purifying material on a person, and user's comfort and efficiency of the air purifying operation are both achieved. An air purifier includes a casing, an inlet, outlets, blowers, a decontamination unit, air ducts, movable louvers, a horizontal rotation mechanism, an ozone generation mechanism, human detection means, a control unit, or the like. The control unit detects whether or not there is a person in a room by the human detection means. Then, the control unit controls at least one of parameters including an ozone generation amount, a wind direction, an amount, and a speed of blown-out air based on the human detection result. Thus, if there is a person in the room, for example, a human avoiding operation, a human area operation, or the like can be performed. If there is no person, an indoor air purifying operation for uniformly purifying air throughout the room can be performed.
