A power tool having a hammer mechanism includes a final output shaft configured to removably hold a tool accessory and defining a driving axis of the tool accessory, a housing, and a handle movable relative to the housing in an axial direction of the driving axis. The housing and the handle at least partially have such a shape that a radial distance between the housing and the handle is shorter when the handle is located at a first relative position maximally separated from the housing in the axial direction than when the handle is located at a second relative position close to the housing in the axial direction.

Power tool having a hammer mechanism

A power tool, such as a hammer drill (), has first and second battery mount parts (A,B) that are aligned in a longitudinal direction of the power tool. First and second batteries (A,B) are mountable thereon in series along a straight line that extends in the longitudinal direction. The first battery (A) is mounted on the first battery mount part (A) by sliding along the straight line towards the second battery mount part (B). The second battery (B) is mounted on the second battery mount part (B) by sliding along the straight line towards the first battery mount part (A).

Power tool

A dust collecting system includes a power tool and a dust collector. The power tool is configured to perform processing operation on a workpiece by driving a tool accessory. The dust collector is configured to collect dust generated by the processing operation. The power tool includes a first motor and a driving mechanism configured to drive the tool accessory by power of the first motor. The dust collector includes a second motor and a fan configured to be rotationally driven by the second motor to generate air flow for collecting dust. The dust collecting system includes a first control device configured to control a rotation speed of the second motor according to a driving state of the power tool.

Dust collecting system

A power tool includes a motor, a housing, a battery holder and a cushion. The battery holder is held by the housing to be movable at least in a first direction relative to the housing. The battery holder is configured to removably receive a battery for supplying electric power to the motor. The cushion is held by the housing such that the first direction intersects the cushion. When the battery is attached to the battery holder, the cushion is directly or indirectly disposed between the battery and the housing.

A power tool () comprises a motor () operably driving a tool bit (), a tool body () housing the motor (), a handle () coupled to the tool body (), and at least two battery mount parts (A,B) defined on the handle () and/or the tool body (). Each of the battery mount parts (A,B) comprises a battery engaging part () configured to detachably engage with battery packs (A,B) by sliding the battery packs (A,B) relative to the battery engaging part () in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the tool bit (). A dust collecting system includes a power tool and a stationary dust collector. The power tool is configured to perform processing operation on a workpiece by driving a tool accessory. The stationary dust collector is configured to be placed separately from the power tool and to collect dust generated by the processing operation. The power tool includes a first motor and a driving mechanism configured to drive the tool accessory by power of the first motor. The dust collector includes a second motor and a fan configured to be rotationally driven by the second motor to generate air flow for collecting dust. The dust collecting system includes a control device configured to control a rotation speed of the second motor according to a driving state of the power tool.

An impact tool includes a switch for driving the tool accessory, an operation member configured to be movable between an OFF position and an ON position, a first lock member configured to lock the operation member in the ON position, a second lock member configured to be movable between a lock position and a lock-release position in response to an external operation by a user, and a holding mechanism configured to hold the second lock member in the lock position and also in the lock-release position. The second lock member in the lock position is capable of locking the operation member in the OFF position, and the second lock member in the lock-release position is incapable of locking the operation member in the OFF position.

Impact tool

A power tool () comprises a motor () operably driving a tool bit (), a tool body () housing the motor (), a handle () coupled to the tool body (), and at least two battery mount parts (A,B) defined on the handle () and/or the tool body (). Each of the battery mount parts (A,B) comprises a battery engaging part () configured to detachably engage with battery packs (A,B) by sliding the battery packs (A,B) relative to the battery engaging part () in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the tool bit ().

A hammer drill includes a housing, a tool holder, a hammering member, a gear, and a conversion member. The gear is switched to a first state where a rotation of the intermediate shaft is transmitted and a second state where the rotation of the intermediate shaft is not transmitted, and a mode switching member is configured to perform a switching operation of the state of the gear from an outside of the housing. The switching of the state of the gear by the mode switching member provides at least two operation modes of a hammer drill mode where the gear integrally rotates with the intermediate shaft to generate the rotation and a reciprocation of the hammering member on the tool holder and a hammer mode where the gear is separated from the rotation of the intermediate shaft to generate only the reciprocation of the hammering member.

Hammer drill

An impact tool includes a tubular tool holder, a hammering mechanism, a resistor, and a biasing member. An impact element moves forward and rearward in conjunction with a piston. An intermediate element is housed movable back and forth between the impact element and a tip tool. The intermediate element abuts on a rear end of the tip tool to indirectly transmit a striking force from the impact element to the tip tool in a normal striking. The resistor is configured to abut on at least one of the intermediate element and the tip tool to apply a resistance to a front-rear movement of at least one of the intermediate element and the tip tool in a non-striking state. The biasing member disposed on the tool holder biases the resistor to a side of at least one of the intermediate element and the tip tool.

A dust collector for electric power tool includes a casing, a ring-shaped suction opening, a dust collecting route, and a filter. The suction opening protrudes forward from the casing. The tool bit of the electric power tool is insertable into the suction opening in a state where the suction opening is brought into contact with a surface to be processed. The dust collecting route is formed within the casing and guides an air suctioned from the suction opening to a dust collection portion in the casing. The filter is disposed in the dust collection portion to capture dust suctioned with the air. On the dust collecting route in the dust collection portion, a first filter and a second filter are disposed. The first filter includes a dust collecting chamber partitioned inside the dust collection portion. The second filter is arranged outside the first filter independently from the first filter.
