An information acquisition apparatus for acquiring information relating to a crawler configured to be wound around a rotationally driven sprocket connected to a rotation axle provided in a vehicle, the crawler having a meshing part configured to mesh with a tooth or a tooth base of the sprocket and being circulatorily driven in conjunction with rotation of the sprocket is provided. The information acquisition apparatus includes a memory and a processor. The memory stores, as initial information, the number of meshing parts of the crawler and information specifying the meshing part that is at a predetermined position, prior to the vehicle traveling. The processor acquires rotation information of the sprocket. The processor, while the vehicle is traveling, information specifying the meshing part that is at the predetermined position, based on the initial information and the rotation information.

Information acquisition apparatus for crawler

A highly durable elastic crawler with a tensile cord having both ends thereof overlapped mutually in a crawler body thus being circumferentially wound around the crawler is provided. An elastic crawler includes; a crawler body including an endless belt-like elastic body; metal cores embedded in the crawler body, each of the metal cores including vanes and arranged at predetermined intervals circumferentially; and tensile cords transversely arranged, wound around the outer circumference side of the vanes, and embedded in the crawler body while vicinity portions of both ends of the tensile cords are overlapped mutually. An inner circumference side end is arranged at an outer circumference side of any one of the vanes. The distance between the vicinity portion of the inner circumference side end and the outer circumference side portion of the tensile cord overlapped there is increased from the vicinity portion toward the inner circumference side end.

The present invention relates to a rubber crawler including: a joint formed by joining together opposite ends of a crawler body comprising an elastic member shaped like a belt having the opposite ends; and lugs projected at predetermined space intervals along a longitudinal direction of the belt and arranged on an outer circumferential surface of the crawler body. The joint is disposed on the outer circumferential surface of the crawler body, as located in a ground non-engaging portion and at different positions with respect to the longitudinal direction of the belt, the ground non-engaging portion defining an area excluding the lugs. In this way, stress acting on the joint is distributed or reduced.

Rubber crawler

An elastic crawler having a crawler body formed of a rubber elastic material into an endless belt so that rollers rotatively move on right and left side regions on an inner surface of the crawler body is provided with a reinforcement provided extending outwardly in a thickness direction of the crawler body in an area of the crawler body extending at least partially under said right and left ends of each of the rollers. The prevents the elastically bendable side regions from being cracked when either of the side regions of the elastic crawler is bent about an axis that extends in a circumferential direction of the crawler.
