A production allocation determining apparatus is configured to calculate a total supply function model representing a relationship between a total supply quantity and a marginal cost; calculate, based on current supply quantities, change rate constraints, and on capacity upper and lower limits, supply quantity upper and lower limits of the respective producers at a time s; calculate an optimum price based on the total supply function model, a predicted value of a demanded quantity at the time s, and on the supply quantity upper and lower limits; and calculate, based on the supply quantity upper and lower limits, the supply function models, and on the optimum price, optimum supply quantities. Calculation of the supply quantity upper and lower limits, calculation of the optimum price, and calculation of the optimum supply quantities are repeatedly executed from the time s=T to the time s=1.

There is provision of an operation support system for supporting an operation of a demand-supply system including a resource supplying facility and a resource demander facility. The operation support system receives an input of a demand-supply system model of the demand-supply system, facility-capacity information of the resource supplying facility, and analysis condition information defining a plurality of variables and an external variable of the demand-supply system, to generate a correlation logical formula representing a relation among the plurality of variables and the external variable. The operation support system further acquires performance data of the demand-supply system which includes actual values of the plurality of variables and the external variable during an operation, and renders an area represented by the correlation logical formula when the external variable is equal to an actual data included in the performance data and a point represented by the performance data of the plurality of variables.

There is provision of a control device for outputting an operation amount of a controlled object so as to cause a process value of the controlled object to track a target value. The control device acquires a look-ahead target value within a time series of target values; calculates a look-ahead target value deviation which is a difference between the look-ahead target value and a current process value of the controlled object; calculates an adjusted target value deviation, by calculating a difference between the look-ahead target value and a predicted value of the process value after a look-ahead time length, based on a response model of the controlled object and past change amounts of the operation amount; performs reinforcement learning based on the adjusted target value deviation; and calculates an updated operation amount based on the adjusted target value deviation.

A solid-state imaging device includes a plurality of light receiving elements, transfer gates for controlling reading-out of signal charges generated by the light receiving elements, a charge coupled device for transferring the signal charges from the light receiving elements through the transfer gates, a charge input electrode, and first and second electrodes for controlling the quantity of charges input from the charge input source. The first electrode contacts the charge input source. The second electrode contacts the first electrode and is connected to a light receiving element via a transfer gate or another charge coupled device. In this structure, the second electrode controls the quantity of input charges in response to a dc voltage in a charge input mode for testing the images and serves as a first stage transfer electrode in response to a clock pulse in a imaging mode for forming an image. Thus, the pitch of the light receiving elements is constant even at the charge input electrode.
