A heat exchanger includes: heat transfer tubes aligned in an up-down direction; a liquid header connected to ends of the heat transfer tubes; and connection tubes aligned in the up-down direction and connected to the liquid header. The heat transfer tubes include: a first heat transfer tube disposed at a lowermost position; and a second heat transfer tube disposed above and adjacent to the first heat transfer tube. The connection tubes include: a first connection tube disposed at a lowermost position; and a second connection tube disposed above the first connection tube. The liquid header includes: a first flow path connected to the first connection tube and the first heat transfer tube; and a second flow path connected to the second connection tube and the second heat transfer tube.

Heat exchanger

A heat transfer tube includes first flow paths aligned in the heat transfer tube. Each of the first flow paths includes a section with a rectangular shape that is elongated in a first direction parallel with an alignment direction of the first flow paths. Each of the first flow paths includes protrusions disposed on an inner surface. The section of each of the first flow paths has a long side having a first length and a short side having a second length, where a ratio of the first length to the second length is between 1.1 and 1.5.

Heat transfer tube and heat exchanger

A heat exchanger includes: flat pipes each including a passage for refrigerant that are arranged side by side in a predetermined step direction; and a header collecting pipe extending along the predetermined step direction that is connected to the flat pipes. The header collecting pipe includes: a flat pipe-side header forming member; and an opposite-side header forming member facing the flat pipe-side header forming member. The flat pipes are inserted in the flat pipe-side header forming member and an internal space exists between the flat pipe-side header forming member and the opposite-side header forming member. When viewed along the predetermined step direction: the flat pipe-side header forming member has a flat pipe-side curved portion protruding toward the flat pipes and the opposite-side header forming member has an opposite-side curved portion protruding toward a side away from the flat pipes.

Heat exchanger and air conditioner having the same

A heat exchanger includes: heat transfer tubes aligned with one another; a header connected to end portions of the heat transfer tubes; and fins joined to the heat transfer tubes. When viewed in a longitudinal direction of the header and when the heat exchanger is used as an evaporator, the header is divided into: a circulation space including a first space in which refrigerant flows in a first direction along the longitudinal direction of the header and a second space in which the refrigerant flows in a second direction opposite to the first direction along the longitudinal direction; and an insertion space into which the heat transfer tubes are inserted. The header includes: a circulation division plate that divides the first space from the second space; and an insertion space forming plate that divides the circulation space from the insertion space.

A heat exchanger includes: flat pipes disposed in multiple stages in a stage direction corresponding to an up-down direction; and fins that partition a space between adjacent two of the flat pipes into air flow passages through which air flows. Each of the flat pipes includes a passage for a refrigerant inside thereof. The flat pipes are divided into heat exchange paths arrayed in multiple stages in the stage direction. One of the heat exchange paths that includes a lowermost one of the flat pipes is defined as a first heat exchange path. A length of the passage from a first end to a second end of a flow of the refrigerant in each of the heat exchange paths is defined as a path effective length.

Heat exchanger and air conditioning apparatus including the same

A heat exchanger includes: a header that extends in a first direction; and a plurality of heat transfer tubes that extend in a second direction crossing the first direction, each of which has one end connected to the header, and that are arranged in the first direction at intervals. The header includes: a header body having a tubular shape, a first member through which the one end of each of the heat transfer tubes extends, and a second member positioned between the header body and the first member in the second direction. The second member includes: a base portion that extends in the first direction, and a plurality of protruding portions that extend from the base portion toward the first member in the second direction.

A heat exchanger includes: flat pipes arranged such that flat surfaces of the flat pipes are opposed to one another; and fins each including insertion parts that extend in an insertion direction that crosses a direction in which the flat pipes are disposed and a longitudinal direction of the flat pipes. At least part of each of the flat pipes is inserted into a corresponding one of the insertion parts. Each of the fins includes a cut-and-raised part that is cut and raised in a thickness direction between the insertion parts, and a rib disposed between the insertion part and the cut-and-raised part.

A heat exchanger including: a header; flat tubes connected to the header and disposed in line along a longitudinal direction of the header; a first partition that partitions an inner space of the header into a first space on a side where the flat tubes are connected and a second space on a side opposite to the first space; and a second partition that partitions the inner space of the header into a first side and a second side. The first side is one side of the header in the longitudinal direction and the second side is opposite to the first side. The first partition has a common opening. The common opening includes an insertion opening and a refrigerant opening. A refrigerant moves between the first space and the second space via the refrigerant opening. The second partition is inserted into the insertion opening.

Heat exchanger and air conditioner

A heat exchanger includes: a header; flat tubes disposed in line along a longitudinal direction of the header and connected to the header: a refrigerant pipe connected to an introduction space in the header; and a nozzle. When the heat exchanger operates as an evaporator of a refrigerant, the refrigerant is fed through the nozzle from the introduction space to a supply space disposed adjacent to the introduction space in the longitudinal direction of the header. The nozzle is disposed on a side closer to the flat tubes than to the refrigerant pipe. A width of a first zone in the introduction space on the side closer to the flat tubes is smaller than a width of a second zone in the introduction space on a side where the refrigerant pipe is connected.

A heat exchanger includes a plurality of members made of aluminum or aluminum alloy, and a bundling component. The bundling component includes a main body portion having an anchoring portion, and a band portion extending from the main body portion and having a section on an opposite side of a main body portion side anchored in the anchoring portion. The bundling component is made of aluminum or aluminum alloy. At least part of the bundling component and at least part of the plurality of members are secured to each other with a brazing material interposed between the parts.

Heat exchanger and method of manufacturing same

A heat exchanger includes: heat transfer tubes that are made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy and are disposed in multiple tiers in a first direction that intersects a second direction along which a heating medium flows; and a coupling header that couples the heat transfer tubes together. The coupling header includes: a first member that includes a first core made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy and a first sacrificial anode layer; a second member that includes no sacrificial anode layer; and a third member that includes a second core made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy and a second sacrificial anode layer.

Heat exchanger and air conditioning apparatus

An outdoor heat exchanger includes a plurality of flat multi-hole tubes, a return header, a plurality of heat transfer fins, and a partition including a concave-convex portion on the leeward side. A space inside the return header to which the flat multi-hole tubes are connected is formed so as to cause a larger amount of refrigerant to flow on the upstream side than on the downstream side in an airflow direction.

A plurality of refrigerant channels are grouped into two or more sets of refrigerant channels arranged in an air flow direction, and the two or more sets of refrigerant channels. When the heat exchanger functions as an evaporator, the refrigerants in a pair of the sets of refrigerant channels adjacent to each other in the air flow direction flow in parallel with each other in opposite directions.

A heat exchange unit includes a first heat exchanger and a second heat exchanger, the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger being disposed inside a casing so that an inclined installation thereof is possible in both the first attitude and the second attitude. The first heat exchanger has a plurality of first flattened tubes and a plurality of first fins. First fin communicating parts of the plurality of first fins are formed on both sides in a cross-sectional longitudinal direction of the first flattened tubes. The second heat exchanger has a plurality of second flattened tubes and a plurality of second fins. Second fin communicating parts of the plurality of second fins are formed on both sides in a cross-sectional longitudinal direction of the second flattened tubes.
