A high-frequency treatment instrument including: a sheath formed of a flexible material; an electrode member disposed inside the sheath; a distal-end member having a through-hole through which the electrode member passes; and a liquid supply means supplying liquid towards the front side via a flow path in the sheath, wherein the electrode member includes a rod-shaped electrode portion movably passing through the through-hole, and a large-diameter portion provided at the distal end thereof to have an outer diameter larger than the diameter of the through-hole, the large-diameter portion includes an electrode hole passing therethrough, between the distal-end member and the large-diameter portion, there is provided a buffer member that seals the periphery of a space between the distal-end member and the large-diameter portion.

A treatment device for endoscopic therapy of the present invention includes a suturing-ligating member having a distal end portion and a proximal end portion, that carries out at least one of suturing and ligation of biological tissue, a stopper provided to be movable forward or backward on an proximal end side of the suturing or ligating member, and stoppable by friction on the suturing-ligating member to maintain the biological tissue in a sutured or ligated state by the suturing-ligating member, and a suturing-ligation releasing member provided movable with relative to the suturing-ligating member to release the suturing-ligation state maintained by firctional stopping between the suturing-ligating member and the stopper by moving the releasing member to the proximal end portion side of the suturing-ligating member.

A medical system includes: a treatment instrument having an insertion portion configured by an exterior member, and an insertion member that is inserted into the exterior member and is longer than the exterior member; an insertion portion inserting/pulling-out device to transmit a driving force to the exterior member or the insertion member configuring the insertion portion of the treatment instrument, the insertion portion inserting/pulling-out device advancing/retreating at least one of the exterior member and the insertion member; and a driving force non-transmitting portion provided to the insertion member, the driving force non-transmitting portion preventing a driving force of the insertion portion inserting/pulling-out device from being transmitted to the exterior member when the insertion member is moved by a predetermined distance.

Medical system and endoscope system

A treatment instrument operation unit is provided with a drive unit, an operation portion installation section and a command signal output section. The drive unit drives an operation portion for operating each treatment section of the respective treatment instruments. The operation portion is attached to the operation portion installation section provided to the drive unit. The command signal output section outputs an installation start signal to a controller for notifying that the installation of the treatment instrument has begun upon installation of the operation portion in the operation portion installation section. After outputting the installation start signal from the command signal output section to the controller, the drive unit drives the operation portion installation section to the position where the operation portion is allowed to be installed based on the control signal outputted form the controller.

Treatment instrument operation unit and medical system with treatment instrument operation unit

An apparatus is provided which assists operations required for a medical instrument. A tubular portion and a therapeutic member of the instrument are inserted through a channel of an insertion tube of an endoscope. In the apparatus, a first drive unit enables the therapeutic member to perform the desired therapeutic operations responsively to a first command signal and a second drive unit enables the tubular portion inserted in the channel to convey responsively to a second command signal. An input device is provided at which two kinds of commands are allowed to be inputted command by command. The two kinds of commands allow the therapeutic member and the tubular portion to be driven in parallel with each other. A controller provides the first and second drive units with the first and second command signals, respectively, in accordance with the two kinds of commands.

A medical apparatus including: a projecting member; an introducing sheath; an extrusion member inside the introducing sheath, at a proximal side of the projecting member and movable in an axial direction with respect to the introducing sheath; a cover sheath outside the introducing sheath, the introducing sheath being movable between a first and second position with respect to the cover sheath; an introducing sheath manipulating section at a proximal side of the introducing sheath; an extrusion member manipulating section at a proximal side of the extrusion member; a cover sheath manipulating section at a proximal side of the cover sheath; and a release member on the cover sheath manipulating section and/or the introducing sheath manipulating section to release a fixation between the extrusion member manipulating section and the introducing sheath manipulating section when the introducing sheath is disposed on the first or second position.

Apparatus for ligating/suturing living tissues and system for resecting/suturing living tissues

There is provided an endoscopic system. The system comprises a flexible endoscope insertable into a first tubular organ from a natural opening of a human body. The system further comprises an opening member which forms on a wall part of the first tubular organ an opening used to insert the endoscope into an abdominal cavity from the first tubular organ in the body, an anastomosing member which is able to anastomoses the first tubular organ with a second tubular organ in the abdominal cavity, and a cutting member with which the second tubular organ is able to be cut.

A medical ligating apparatus includes a medical ligating device having a member which is made of a flexible line and ligates living tissues, and a fixing member which is movably provided at the ligating member and fixes the living tissues in a ligated state, a manipulating device having a flexible sheath and a proximal manipulating section, and a cutting member for cutting the ligating member. The cutting member is provided on the manipulating device and is movably provided on the ligating member.

Endoscopic instruments for suturing tissues in a body cavity

In the case where the living tissues in the patient's body is resected as well, it is possible to suture the resected portion immediately without replacement with another treatment device after resection. Thus, prevention of bleeding from the resected portion or earlier repair of an ulcer that occurs with the resected portion can be carried out for the patent lowly invasively and easily.
