A printing system which can obtain a print result at a proper quality without a variation in quality from any printer while freely corresponding to a fluctuation of output image characteristics of each printer is provided. A density correction processor obtains correction data to correct the output image characteristics from a printer, forms a density correction table to correct an output density of print information from each data processing apparatus every printer, stores each of the formed density correction tables into a memory medium, and manages them.

An acoustic data output device comprises an addressable memory for storing acoustic data. A plurality of clock signals are coupled to count separate address counters of a number corresponding to the number of clock signals. A signal selector is responsive to the clock signals for providing an address counter selection signal, whereby at any given time the selection signal corresponds to a separate one of the address counters. An addressing device is responsive to the address counter selection signal for selectively addressing the addressable memory with the count of the corresponding address counter. A separate data latch corresponds to each address counter and the data latches are coupled to receive the output of said addressable memory. The outputs of the data latches are synchronized with the clock signal corresponding thereto.

A method and apparatus for collecting square articles including conveying a series of articles in a longitudinal direction, stopping the articles in front of a first pusher, transversely pushing a predetermined number of articles into a tapered second pusher, advancing the second pusher a distance equal to the length of the article, and retracting the second pusher. The tapered second pusher includes a stepped configuration of a plurality of stages, each stage having longitudinal and transverse sides which are respectively about the same size as the length and width of the article and at least one of the stages in the middle being omitted.
