When moving casing accommodating electronic equipment for maintenance of electronic equipment, stability of casing is maintained and safety is ensured. Casing separation mechanism

A composition comprising a powder of iron and nickel and a binder (e.g. wax) is injection molded. The powder contains 0.5 to 10% by weight of nickel and has an average particle diameter not exceeding 45 microns. The binder is removed from the molded product. The molded product is sintered, and the sintered product is cooled to room temperature slowly at a rate of 2.degree. C. to 50.degree. C. per minute. The sintered product is of an iron-nickel alloy, has a high density and a high level of soft ferromagnetic properties, and may be complicated in shape.

Process for manufacturing a soft magnetic body of an iron-nickel alloy

An alloy steel for use in injection-molded sinterings produced by powder metallurgy which comprises by weight, from 0.5 to 3% of Cr and/or Mn, from 0.3 to 1% of C, and balance Fe, is claimed. The alloy steel according to the present invention provides injection-molded sinterings having favorable post workability well-comparable to that of Fe-Ni-C alloys, and further improved in abrasion resistance when hardened and tempered to give a high Vickers hardness of over Hv 700.

Injection-molded sintered alloy steel product

A process for producing an injection-molded sintered product by powder metallurgy includes injection molding a kneaded product including a magnetic powder and a binder, releasing the molded product from the metal mold, and sintering the molding after debindering, wherein the molding is taken out from the metal mold using an electromagnet which exerts an adsorptive force to the molding. The process simplifies the release of the injection-molded products from metal molds and the transfer of the molding to the debindering process. The process is suitable for mass production, gives high yield, and has a wide applicability to products regardless of their shape.

Process for producing injection-molded sinterings by powder metallurgy

An injection molded powder metallurgy product of highly satisfactory quality is obtained by a method which comprises injection molding mixture obtained by kneading a metal powder with a binder, depriving the molded mass of the binder while keeping the molded mass at least in contact with ceramic powder, projecting beads on the molded mass free from the binder, and thereafter sintering the molded mass studded with the beads.

Method for production of injection molded powder metallurgy product

A sintering metal powder consisting of metal particles having a particle diameter distribution including a plurality of peaks. The larger of the two particle diameters at every adjoining two, respectively, of the peaks has a ratio of between 5 and 10 to the smaller. The height of one of every adjoining two of the peaks has a ratio of between 1 and 5 to that of the other that is not higher than the one peak. The particle diameter at one of every adjoining two of the peaks which is not higher than the other is smaller than that at the other peak. The particle diameter at the highest peak is between 30 and 80 microns. A process for making a sintered product from such a powder is also disclosed.
