A satellite receiver includes: demultiplexing units each demultiplexing, into subchannel signals of a predetermined band, a digital reception signal obtained by converting a calibration signal received by a corresponding one of receiving antenna elements into a digital signal; excitation coefficient multiplication units multiplying the subchannel signals by an excitation coefficient; a complex adder adding the subchannel signals multiplied by the excitation coefficient together for each subchannel signal of the same band; a correlation detection unit calculating, with the use of one demultiplexing unit as a reference demultiplexing unit, a cross-correlation value for each subchannel signal output from each demultiplexing unit different from the reference demultiplexing unit with respect to a subchannel signal of a same band output from the reference demultiplexing unit; and an excitation coefficient generation unit generating a corrected excitation coefficient based on a cross-correlation value and an excitation coefficient created in advance.

A first region of a reflection mirror including a center point of the paraboloid of revolution is formed of a conductor. A second region, which is an outer peripheral side of the first region, of the reflection mirror is a region where a plurality of reflection elements, which are conductor patterns, is arranged on a dielectric body overlaid on a base plate conductor. An arrangement pitch of the plurality of reflection elements corresponds to a wavelength of a radio wave in the second frequency band.

A microwave irradiating and heating device including a reaction furnace for containing a sample material to be irradiated with microwave and to be heated, a lid provided for the reaction furnace and having a single hole, a microwave irradiating source for emitting a microwave, the microwave irradiating source being disposed outside the reaction furnace, and a rotated quadric surface mirror for reflecting the microwave emitted from the microwave irradiating source into the reaction furnace through the hole of the lid, the rotated quadric surface mirror being disposed above the reaction furnace.

Disclosed is a microwave irradiating and heating device including: a reaction furnace () for containing a sample material () to be irradiated with microwave and to be heated; a polarization grid () provided for the reaction furnace (); a microwave irradiating source () for emitting a linearly polarized microwave, the microwave irradiating source () being disposed outside the reaction furnace (); and a reflector () for reflecting the microwave emitted from the microwave irradiating source () toward the reaction furnace () through the polarization grid (), the reflector () being disposed above the reaction furnace (), wherein the microwave irradiating source () is arranged in such a way that the polarization direction of the reflected microwave which is made incident upon the polarization grid () is perpendicular to an orientation of the polarization grid ().

Beam direction controlling unit includes a relative position determining unit that determines a relative position between a reflector antenna and an array antenna by controlling a driver, e.g., driving unit, a drive controlling unit, such that a range on the array antenna onto which a parallel light beam from a desired beam direction is projected is a range in which element antennas are arranged, an excitation element selector that selects, as element antennas to be excited, element antennas onto which the parallel light beam is projected at the determined relative position, an excitation amplitude phase determining unit that sets an excitation amplitude phase of the selected element antennas, and sets the excitation amplitude phase to an excitation amplitude phase controller, e.g., an amplitude controller, a phase shifter, and an excitation amplitude phase controlling unit, and a transmitter/receiver connecting unit that connects the selected element antennas to a transmitter/receiver.
