A heating cooker includes a cooking chamber accommodating an object to be cooked, a hot air generator and a blower. Hot air generated by the generator impinges as a high-speed impinging jet on the object from a nozzle hole located in a ceiling plate. The hot air having impinged on the object is drawn our through hot-air suction openings located in lower parts of right and left sidewalls of the chamber by the blower. A shelf plate is located in the chamber so that the object is placed on it. The shelf plate has openings on right and left sides. Hot air is caused to impinge on the object through the nozzle hole. The shelf has a convex portion formed on a face on which the object is to be placed which supports the object from below.

Heating cooker

A transverse fan includes a pair of end plates each having an annular shape, a plurality of blades annularly disposed between the end plates and a plurality of partition plates each having an annular shape and disposed at intermediate portions of the blades. Each of the partition plates has one side surface to which base ends of the blades are integrally secured to extend forward with a predetermined inclination and form a multi-blade impeller. A plurality of the multi-blade impeller are stacked axially so that each of the partition plates has another one side surface to which leading ends of the blades of adjacent multi-blade impeller are connected, and one of the end plate has one surface to which the leading ends of the blades of a leading end side one of the stacked multi-blade impellers are connected and another one of the end plates has one surface to which the base ends of the blades of a base end side one of the stacked multi-blade impellers is secured. The another one of the end plates is provided with a boss portion to which a rotation shaft for rotating the transverse fan is secured. Each of the multi-blade impellers is injection molded integrally in a mold and the multi-blade impeller is thereafter withdrawn from the mold while rotating the multi-blade impeller about a rotation axis thereof.

A dishwasher includes a casing having right-hand and left-hand side walls and two concave portions formed in the lower portions of the side walls, respectively. The concave portions have pipe passing openings formed in walls defining the concave portions, respectively. Each pipe passing opening is contiguous to the interior of the casing. A main feed pipe is disposed in the casing and has two ends. A water supply connecting pipe has a part located in either one of the concave portions and caused to pass through the pipe passing opening in the condition that the part has been located in either concave portion so that one of its two ends is guided into the casing and connected to the end of the main feed pipe located in the casing.

An automatic washing machine includes an outer tub, an inner tub rotatably mounted in the outer tub and having a plurality of dehydration perforations formed in an upper end portion, a drain hole formed in the bottom of the inner tub, a valve mechanism for opening and closing the drain hole, a stopper for stopping the inner tub at a predetermined position, and a drive section mounted in the outer tub for driving the valve mechanism so that the drain hole is opened and closed, in the condition that the inner tub is stopped at the predetermined position.

A detergent dispenser for clothes washing machines includes a detergent container for containing a predetermined amount of powdered detergent, the detergent container having a lower discharge outlet from which the detergent contained therein is discharged and a detergent fall preventing member displaced between a first position where the detergent is prevented from falling out from the discharge outlet of the container and a second position where the detergent discharged from the discharge outlet of the detergent container is allowed to fall out therefrom.

A detergent dispenser for a washing machine includes a detergent container for containing a certain amount of powdered detergent, a detergent discharger for discharging a necessary amount of powdered detergent from the container to a detergent receiver of the washing machine, a shaft rotated upon operation of the detergent discharger, a crank mechanism for changing the rotational movement of the shaft to the reciprocal movement, a reciprocating member reciprocally moved by the crank mechanism in the detergent container in the direction of one of end walls of the detergent container and in the direction opposite to the end wall so that the powdered detergent adherent to the inside surface of each end wall of the detergent container is removed.

A detergent supply apparatus includes a detergent storage compartment for storing a powdery detergent, and a conveying device for conveying the powdery detergent from the detergent storage compartment. The conveying device includes a coiled member having a hollow body and an open end. When the conveying device is rotated, the detergent fed from the detergent storage compartment to the hollow body of coiled member is conveyed by coiled member, and then is discharged from the open end of the coiled member.

A detergent dispensing system for clothes washing machines consists of a detergent containing hopper having a detergent discharging passageway having the section of approximately semicircular configuration and formed at the bottom portion, a spiral coil arranged in the detergent discharging passageway and discharging the powdered detergent contained in the hopper by screw action caused by its rotation so that the powdered detergent is dispensed to a wash tub of a clothes washing machine, an electric motor for driving the coil, a first manually operated switch for inputting data of a kind of the powdered detergent to be dispensed, a second manually operated switch for inputting data of degree of soil of clothes to be washed, a third manually operated switch for inputting data of a water level to set the water level in the wash tub, and a controller for controlling the rotation speed of the coil so that the amount of the powdered detergent to be dispensed takes a value in accordance with the kind of the powdered detergent, the degree of soil of the clothes to be washed and the water level the data of which are supplied from the first, second and third manually operated switches respectively.

A washing machine includes a washing tub whose peripheral wall is constituted by an upper peripheral wall section and a lower peripheral wall section which is located below the upper peripheral wall section and which is driven to rotate clockwise and counterclockwise. The washing tub receives water and laundry therein. In the case of a small load of laundry, the laundry is caused to flow, and to be washed due mainly to the flow or water caused by the rotation of the lower peripheral wall section. In the case of a large amount of the load of laundry, the laundry can be due to the synergetic action of the frictional forces. In such a washing machine, the inner surface of the lower peripheral wall section is made gradually larger in diameter from its lower portion to its upper portion.

A lid with a see-through plate to open and close an opening portion of an apparatus has a lid body which has an opening for visually checking the interior of the apparatus, a ring-shaped engaging groove formed along the periphery of the opening, and projections provided in the engaging groove. A see-through plate is removably attached to the lid body to close the opening. The see-through plate has an outer peripheral edge closely resembling the opening in shape and hooks engaging with the projections. The interior of the apparatus can be externally observed through the see-through plate. A decorative frame is removably fitted in the engaging groove to hold the see-through plate as the projections and hooks engage one another, and to cover the projections and hooks.

A washer-dehydrator comprises a pulsator shaft rotatably attached to the inside of a rotary tub in an eccentric manner, a pulsator coaxially fixed to the pulsator shaft, a washing shaft coaxial with the rotary tub and projecting into the rotary tub by a given distance, a driven gear coaxially fixed to the pulsator shaft, a driving shaft in mesh with the driven gear, a sealing case housing the driven gear and the driving gear in a watertight manner, detachably fixed to the inside of the rotary tub, and supporting the driving gear, the sealing case having a penetrating hole to allow insertion of the projected end portion of the washing shaft, and engaging and engaged portions for detachably engaging the projected end portion of the washing shaft with the driving gear to transmit the rotary force of the washing shaft to the driving gear in an engaged state.

A washing apparatus having a tub for holding and draining a liquid, a spinnable tub for receiving materials to be washed and spin-drying the materials, a generally disk-shaped driven rotary base rotatably disposed in the spinnable tub on the bottom thereof at an eccentric position with respect to the axis of rotation of the spinnable tub, a support rotatably supporting the driven rotary base, a drive for selectively rotating the spinnable tub on the rotary base, and a pulsator detachably mounted on the rotary base for generating an eccentric liquid whirlpool in the tub.

Washing apparatus

In a washer-dehydrator, an eccentrically set pulsator is driven through a rotation moment-transmitting mechanism, and, even in case washing water streams containing foreign matter are drawn below the pulsator by the action of pumping blades mounted on the underside of the pulsator. The operation of the rotation moment-transmitting mechanism is not obstructed by the foreign matter, but circulating water streams can be smoothly produced to trap foreign matter retained in the washing water.

A treating agent dispensing apparatus of a laundry machine comprises a dispensing vessel rockable between a dispensing stand-by position wherein a treating agent is reservably received and a dispensing position wherein the reserved treating agent is discharged into a tank, a control lever movable between an original position, a treating agent feed position and vessel return and intermediate position, an interlocking mechanism moved by the control lever when the control lever is moved from the original position and to the vessel return position, whereby the dispensing vessel is rocked from the dispensing position to the dispensing stand-by position, and a treating agent feeding mechanism moved by the control lever when the control lever is moved from the vessel return position to the treating agent feed region, whereby a predetermined amount of treating agent from a storage source is fed into the dispensing vessel located in the dispensing stand-by position.
