An improved pinch valve assembly for opening and closing flexible tubular conduits is provided. A housing member is capable of supporting flexible tubular conduits and contains an engagement member that is capable of closing the passageways through the flexible tubular conduit. The engagement member can configure to receive a stop member that is capable of restraining the engagement member at a position which prohibits closing of a flexible tubular conduits during non-operative storage and transporting modes of operation.

An ion-measuring apparatus for use in processes, characterized by comprising 3 or more ion-measuring electrodes for measuring a same one ion contained in a same one sample, means for computing a mean value of measured values obtained by means of said ion-measuring electrodes, an indicating portion for indicating the computed result, means for judging an existence of an abnormality in the ion-measuring electrodes and an alarm for emitting a maintenance alarm when the abnormality occurs in any one of the ion-measuring electrodes so that the ion-measuring electrode, which has been judged to be abnormal, may be excluded to continue a measurement by means of remaining ion-measuring electrodes.

Ion-measuring apparatus for use in process

An apparatus for determining the concentration of ions in a solution has an inner cylinder, and outer cylinder concentrically positioned around the inner cylinder and defining with the inner cylinder a chamber for holding an internal solution of a comparison electrode, and upper block and a lower block to which the upper and lower ends of the outer cylinder are sealingly connected, the blocks having holes therethrough and the ends of the inner cylinder being sealingly attached to the blocks in these holes. A comparison electrode tube is positioned in the chamber and has a liquid junction in the lower end and is open to the chamber adjacent the upper end, and an internal electrode of the comparison electrode is positioned within the comparison electrode tube. A measuring electrode is removably sealingly mounted in the hole in the lower block and extends downwardly from the lower blocks, and a further liquid junction is mounted in the lower block and extends from the chamber through the lower block.
