The present invention provides a polymerizable unsaturated group-containing cyclodextrin derivative, which can be efficiently prepared with a higher yield and a higher purity, and which can be mass-produced. The polymerizable unsaturated group-containing cyclodextrin derivative is represented by the following general formula (1). (In the formula, Rrepresents any one of Rrepresents a hydrogen atom, an acyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, or an alkyl group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms. Rrepresents a group represented by the following general formula (5). (In the formula, R's are the same as or different from each other, and each represent a hydrogen atom, an acyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, an alkyl group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms, or —CONHR(Ris an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms), and 20% or more of R's is any one of an acyl group having 2 to 50 carbon atoms, an alkyl group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms, or —CONHR. x is an integer of 5 to 7)).

Polymerizable unsaturated group-containing cyclodextrin derivative

Provided are a macromolecular material comprising two or more types of polymers, which are less likely to be separated, and having excellent mechanical properties, a method for producing the same, and a macromolecular compatibilizing agent. The macromolecular material according to the present invention comprises a first macromolecular compound having a ring host group, and a second macromolecular compound free of the host group, and the second macromolecular compound penetrates through the ring of the host group in a skewering manner. The method for producing the macromolecular material according to the present invention comprises polymerizing a polymerizable monomer in the presence of the first macromolecular compound. The macromolecular compatibilizing agent according to the present invention comprises a macromolecular compound having a ring host group.

Polymer material and method for producing same, and polymer compatibilizing agent

Provided is a macromolecular material that has self-healing properties, excellent stretchability, and a high degree of freedom in the design of stretchability, strength, and hardness, and that can be produced by a simple method; and also provided is a method for producing the same. The macromolecular material of the present invention comprises a polymer having a host group and a guest group. The host group is a monovalent group formed by removing one hydrogen atom or hydroxy group from a cyclodextrin derivative. The polymer is a polymer of a monomer mixture containing a host group-containing polymerizable monomer, a guest group-containing polymerizable monomer, and a third polymerizable monomer, and the third polymerizable monomer contains a (meth)acrylic ester compound. The host group-containing polymerizable monomer and the guest group-containing polymerizable monomer have a property of being dissolved in the third polymerizable monomer.

Polymer material and method for producing same

Provided are a host-group-containing polymerizable monomer usable as a starting material for producing a macromolecular material with a high degree of freedom in material design, and excellent toughness and strength; a macromolecular material produced using the host-group-containing polymerizable monomer; and a method for producing the macromolecular material. The host-group-containing polymerizable monomer according to the present invention is a host-group-containing polymerizable monomer, and the host group is a monovalent group formed by removing one hydrogen atom or hydroxy group from a cyclodextrin derivative. The cyclodextrin derivative has such a structure that the hydrogen atom of at least one hydroxy group of a cyclodextrin is replaced with a group selected from the group consisting of a hydrocarbon group, an acyl group, and —CONHR wherein R represents a methyl group or an ethyl group.

Host-group-containing polymerizable monomer, polymer material, method for producing same, and clathrate compound and method for producing same

An object is to provide a macromolecular composite material that can be produced by a simple process, and that has excellent mechanical properties. The macromolecular composite material of the present invention contains a polymer component and a cyclodextrin compound, the polymer component containing a thermoplastic resin, and the cyclodextrin compound being at least one member selected from the group consisting of cyclodextrin and cyclodextrin derivatives. The macromolecular composite material of the present invention can be produced by a simple process, and has excellent mechanical properties.

Provided are a macromolecular material that exhibits high toughness and self-healing properties, and that can be produced by a simple process, as well as a method for producing the material. The macromolecular material contains a crosslinked polymer crosslinked by the interaction between a host group and a guest group. The crosslinked polymer contains a repeating structural unit represented by the following formula (1a) and a repeating structural unit represented by the following formula (2a).

Provided are: a polymer gel for a medium, and a medium in which the stiffness of the polymer gel can be easily and reversibly changed and the shape of cells can be controlled according to the stiffness of the gel; and a method for culturing cells using the medium. The polymer gel for a medium contains a solvent and a crosslinked structure that is crosslinked by reversible bonds. The stiffness of the polymer gel for a medium can be easily and reversibly changed. Accordingly, when the polymer gel for a medium according to the present invention is used, cell morphology and function can be reversibly controlled according to the stiffness of the gel.

An object of the present invention is to provide a macromolecular material that exhibits excellent elongation. The first macromolecular material of the present invention contains the first polymer containing the first structural unit and the second polymer containing the second structural unit. The first structural unit has a guest group in its side chain, and the second structural unit has a host group in its side chain. At least one of the first and the second polymers contains at least one fluorine group. The second macromolecular material of the present invention contains the first structural unit having a guest group in its side chain, the second structural unit having a host group in its side chain, and the third structural unit other than the first and second structural units. At least one of the first, the second, and the third structural units contains at least one fluorine group.

The present invention provides an adhered structure in which members of the same or different materials are adhered to each other with a high adhesive strength and a method for producing the adhered structure. The adhered structure of the present invention comprises a first solid member, a second solid member, and an adhesive member. The first solid member and the second solid member are adhered to each other through the adhesive member. The adhesive member contains a polymer. The polymer is chemically bonded to the first solid member and the second solid member.

The present invention provides a self-repairing material having self-repairing properties and shape memory properties, as well as high dynamic strength, and also provides a method for manufacturing the same. The self-repairing material of the present invention comprises a polymer comprising specific monomer units in specific ratios, and the concentration of the monomer units is within a specific range.

Provided is a self-restoring macromolecular material that not only has excellent stress relaxation but that can also be easily restored to its original state, even when damaged or severed. Also provided is a method for producing the self-restoring macromolecular material. The self-restoring macromolecular material contains a crosslinked structure that is formed by crosslinking a polymer containing at least a polyrotaxane molecule. The polyrotaxane molecule is formed so as to include a cyclic moleculeand a linear molecule that passes through an openingof the cyclic molecule. The crosslinked structureis crosslinked via a reversible bond between the cyclic molecule of the polyrotaxane molecule and a polymer molecule other than the polyrotaxane molecule.

The present invention provides a joined body with no risk of detachment from the joining surface without using an adhesive, and a method for producing the joined body. The present invention also provides a reversible joined body that enables control of joining and dissociation, and a method for producing the reversible joined body. A monomer containing a host group, a monomer containing a guest group, and an acrylic type monomer were dissolved in an aqueous solvent, and these monomers were subsequently copolymerized to produce a gel obtained from these monomers.
