The present invention relates to a heater device used for a floow material with a heater contained therein and the like within a room and a floor material with a heater contained therein, said heater device comprising an insulating sheet, a plurality of belt-shaped electrodes stood in a row side by side at intervals on an upper surface of said insulating sheet, a plastic radiant body layer formed on an upper surface of the insulating sheet and said belt-shaped electrodes and an insulating layer formed on an upper surface of said radiant body layer, and said floor material with a heater contained therein comprising a bed plate, a first resin layer formed on said bed plate, a pair of belt-shaped electrodes provided at an interval on said first resin layer, a radiant body layer formed on an upper surface of said first resin layer and the belt-shaped electrodes, a second resin layer formed on an upper surface of said radiant body layer and a dressed sheet provided on an upper surface of said second resin layer. The invention relates to a yacht. The yacht has a body, and this body comprises at least outer and inner skins formed of a resin material incorporating reinforcement fibers therein, and a formed styrol material as a foamed synthetic resin member filled between the skin layers. Therefore, the body is resistant to compression force, tensile force, and bending force, and well withstands the impact force of waves. By use of these materials, the yacht is inexpensive to construct and is lightweight so that good improvement in speed can be obtained.

An apparatus for exposing the fibrous reinforcements of a fiber reinforced resin body comprises at least one stage in which a portion of the resin body is brought into contact with a heated resin removing liquid while the resin body is vibrated. According to this apparatus subsequent processing of the resin body, e.g., connecting to another similarly treated resin body, can be advantageously conducted by utilizing the exposed fibrous reinforcement.

A pipe joint wherein an annular connecting resin body in contact and engagement with the outer periphery of one end of at least one pipe is used for connecting the end of the pipe to one end of another pipe. The joint comprises a device for reinforcing the bond between said one pipe and the connecting resin body in addition to sanding provided for the outer periphery of the end of said one pipe. The bond reinforcing device is a barbed wire, barbed tape, piano wire or the combination of engaging grooves and engaging projections, which prevents the axial displacement of said one pipe relative to the resin body to avoid cracking due to such displacement.

Pipe joint

A structure at a connection where at least two resin pipes are connected to each other end-to-end. The structure is characterized by annular resin body means provided on the inner periphery of the end of at least one of the resin pipes and having at least one end positioned in an annular recessed portion formed in the inner periphery of said one resin pipe. Since the above-mentioned end (which is more subject to the action of internal fluid than the other end) is positioned in the annular recessed portion, the resin body means is not eroded by the internal fluid.

A butterfly valve comprises a substantially cylindrical casing (20) having an annular valve seat (A) on its inner peripheral surface, and a valve disk (44) disposed within the casing (20) and rotatable about an axis (35). The valve disk (44) is formed at an outer peripheral edge portion with an annular groove (52) in which an annular valve seal (51) is partially fitted. The valve seal (51) is adapted for pressing contact with the valve seat (A) at a predetermined pressure and anchored in the annular groove (52) by resin (58) pressure-injected into the annular groove (52) through a resin injection channel (53) in communication with the groove. Accordingly, the seal pressure of the valve seal (51) on the valve seat (A) can be set to the predetermined value at all times even if the dimensions of the valve seat (A) and the valve disk (44) and the position of the axis of rotation (35) involve errors.

Butterfly valve

A method and apparatus for manufacturing bent pipes of a composite material composed of resin and filling materials such as reinforcing materials and aggregates by employing a cylindrical molding tool which is deformable between straight-axis form and bent-axis form. Materials are supplied into the molding tool held in horizontally straight condition while the tool is rotated about a horizontal axis, and are molded into a pipe by centrifugal molding. Rotation of the tool is stopped when the pipe molded therein is in uncured state, then the tool is subjected to bending. The resulting bent pipe is removed after it is cured. Before the tool is bent, a bag made of a flexible sheet material is inserted into the pipe and inflated to straighten out the inner periphery of the pipe so as to protect the pipe from any possibility of deformation during bending operation. The molding tool is preferably made of such resilient material as rubber, is incased in a peripherally divisible frame or bellows-type flexible frame which, in turn, is suitably incased in a rotary frame. More preferably, the molding tool has a hollow space provided between its inner and outer walls; by filling liquid in the hollow space it is possible to achieve fine roundness in pipe molding irrespective of dimensional errors with the molding tool or frame.

A centrifugal molding apparatus for manufacturing composite material pipes comprising a rotary mold and operating arm means extensible into and retractable from the rotary mold; the operating arm means having, in sequence from the front end thereof, a press roll portion for uniformalizing the interior of a pipe being molded, a first resin-liquid supply portion, a second resin-liquid supply portion, a chopped-strand supply portion, a third resin-liquid supply portion, a sand smoothing portion for smoothing sand supplied on to resin liquids, a sand supply portion, and a roving supply portion. According to the invention, the operating arm means have various functions, and by causing them to extend into and retract from the rotary mold one or more times it is possible to mold various kinds of composite material pipes efficiently.

Centrifugal molding apparatus for manufacturing composite material pipes

A device comprises a bag for covering a cask for transporting a used nuclear fuel to prevent the outer surface of the cask from contamination with the contaminated water of a fuel storage pool when the cask is immersed in the pool. An annular tube inflatable with a pressure gas injected thereinto is provided along the open end of the bag to hold the opening edge in pressing contact with the outer surface of the cask and thereby seal off the interior of the bag. Preferably the bag is provided with means for adjusting the pressure of the gas in accordance with the pressure of water at the depth at which the cask is positioned. The device is also useful for casks for transporting other radioactive fissionable materials.

Cask bagging device

A laminated composite pipe is produced by employing a pre-formed pipe as a core and applying a layer of reinforcing fiber onto the outer surface of the pipe core which is being lowered vertically in the direction of its length through a hopper and a tubular outer mold. Resin supplied to the hopper is drawn into an annular space between the wound pipe and the outer mold and forms a layer on the wound pipe core. A flexible pipe may be used as the core, together with a resin that can be subsequently cured, thereby forming a flexible laminated composite pipe which can be covered with a parting tape, stored in reel form, and given a permanent set after installation by curing the resin. Depending upon the nature of the resin employed and upon the number of resin layers applied to the pipe core, reinforcing, insulating and stiffening properties, or any combination of such properties, may be imparted to the composite pipe. A multi-channel pipe may be formed by the application to one of the composite pipes described above of an additional tape provided with spacer projections, followed by the application of reinforcing fiber and resin.
