An opening-closing member including an outer panel that faces an outside of a vehicle body, and opening and closing a rear opening of the vehicle body in response to operation of an operation part arranged at a rear end part, the opening-closing member including a bracket member in the operation part, the bracket member including a bracket member body extending along a vehicle body front-rear direction, and a vertical wall extending in a vehicle body vertical direction from at least one end part of the bracket member body in the vehicle body front-rear direction, the vertical wall being fixed to an inner side of the outer panel.

Opening-closing member

An opening and closing member is attachable to a rear opening of a vehicle body in an openable and closable manner. The opening and closing member includes an inner panel disposed to face a vehicle body inner side and a wiper bracket member via which a wiper is attached to an inner side of the inner panel. The inner panel has a bracket attaching part protruding toward the vehicle body inner side. The wiper bracket member has a protruding part protruding toward the vehicle body inner side. The wiper bracket member is attached to the bracket attaching part such that a ridge line of the protruding part is aligned with a ridge line of the bracket attaching part.

Opening and closing member

A vehicle door attached to a vehicle body includes a bracket structure disposed between an interior-side panel and an exterior-side panel to support a door lock portion. The bracket structure has an interior-side extension portion disposed on an interior-side and joined to the interior-side panel, and an exterior-side extension portion disposed on an exterior-side and joined to the exterior-side panel. Extension portions extend in an upper-lower direction. As an alternative, a vehicle door includes a middle panel disposed between an inner panel and an outer panel, and a bracket structure disposed between the inner panel and the middle panel to support the door lock portion. The bracket structure has a front extension portion disposed frontward and joined to the inner panel, and a rear extension portion disposed rearward and joined to the middle panel. Extension portions are disposed in a front-rear direction of a vehicle and extend upward.

Vehicle door

A door structure that can provide a bearing force against a load inputted from a hinge in a desirable way. The door structure includes: a tailgate; and a hinge that pivotally supports the tailgate with respect to a vehicle body. The tailgate has: an inner panel having an attachment surface portion substantially parallel to a plane whose normal is in the direction in which a rotating shaft of the hinge extends; and a hinge attachment portion, which is formed on the attachment surface portion and is for attaching the hinge thereto. The tailgate is provided with a stiffener attached together with the hinge to the tailgate. The stiffener has a first surface portion formed along the attachment surface portion.

Door structure

Even when a heavy load is applied to a tailgate of resin, deformation of the tailgate is inhibited. The tailgate includes a window frame portion of resin forming a window opening portion. The window frame portion includes a bottom wall located on the vehicle interior side, and an outer sidewall and an inner sidewall each of which extending from the corresponding either one end of the bottom wall. The tailgate connects the exterior ends of an outer sidewall and an inner sidewall to form a closed cross-section, and includes a hinge reinforcement member fitted to a hinge mechanism. The hinge reinforcement member includes an outer sidewall reinforcement portion along the outer sidewall. The hinge member is fastened to the outer sidewall reinforcement portion and the outer sidewall together by a connection bolt and a nut.

Tailgate structure

A tailgate structure is provided that includes: a tailgate that is made of resin and is arranged in an opening of a vehicle body; a wiper that wipes a glass arranged in the tailgate; and a lock device that fixes the tailgate to the vehicle body by being engaged with the opening in a state that the tailgate is closed, wherein the wiper is connected with the lock device by a reinforcing member.

An object of the present invention is to provide a tailgate structure capable of preventing broken pieces from being scattered inside or outside a vehicle even when a tailgate made of resin receives an impact. The tailgate structure includes a tailgatewhich is provided capable of opening and closing an opening portionof a vehicle body, and a locking devicewhich is provided at the tail gateand is engaged with the opening portionin a state in which the tailgatecloses the opening portion. The tailgateincludes an inner panelmade of resin, an outer panelmade of resin, and a film surface membermade of metal, which is provided between the inner paneland the outer panel. A weather strip is provided. The weather strip is arranged so as to intersect a portion joined by overlapping a plurality of panels, and is provided with a tip projection portion which projects onto an extension line of the exterior side wall portion from the tip of an exterior side wall portion of an attachment portion. The tip projection portion is formed from a material which deforms easier than a material forming the sealing portion and is formed in a shape which becomes thin towards a projecting direction with a width dimension which does not exceed the thickness of the tip of the exterior side wall portion in a cross section along the width direction of the attachment portion, and when the attachment portion is attached to the flange, the tip projection portion stretches in the longitudinal direction of the attachment portion and comes into contact with the panels.

A rear door structure in which a rear door is openably and closably provided on a rear portion of a vehicle body, including a door panel, wherein: the door panel includes an upper door panel and a lower door panel provided on the lower portion of the upper door panel; and a lower edge portion of the upper door panel and an upper edge portion of the lower door panel mutually overlap so as to form a lateral beam having a closed cross section and extending in a vehicle width direction.

Rear door structure

A rear door structure including: a frame portion which supports an upper edge and both lateral edges of a rear glass; a lateral beam which extends in a vehicle width direction and connects both lateral side portions of the frame portion to each other; a reinforcing member which straddles the lateral side portion of the frame portion and the lateral beam; and a driving unit for a wiper device disposed in a space between the lateral side portion of the frame portion and the lateral beam, wherein: a first end side of the driving unit is fixed to a connection portion between the frame portion and the reinforcing member; and a second end side of the driving unit is fixed to a connection portion of between the reinforcing member and the lateral beam.

A structure for attaching a striker, having an attachment bracket including a base fastened to a panel, and a protruding portion joined to the base. The protruding portion extends in a direction different from a direction in which the base is arranged. The striker may have a swelling portion which swells in a direction going away from the base, and is attached to the protruding portion. The structure may include a cover member for covering an outside of the attachment bracket, and a work hole for adjusting the position of the striker is formed in the cover member. Typically, the striker has a base plate and a striker main portion. The base plate is selectively approachable to and retreatable from the attachment bracket via screw members which are inserted through a through hole provided in the protruding portion of the attachment bracket and are adjustably screwed into the base plate.

An automatic opening and closing device including: a trunk lid; a drive unit which generates drive force for operating the opening and closing member; a hinge arm which is mounted between a rear fender and wheel house inner panel and the trunk lid; and a first link and a second link which transmit the drive force of the drive unit to the trunk lid. The drive unit is fitted to an edge portion of a trunk room aperture portion, and the first and second link are provided so as to straddle the hinge arm.

Automatic opening and closing device

Provided is a power actuator system for actuating a closure member () such as a trunk lid which is compact in size and has a minimized protrusion. A first link () is connected to an output shaft of a powered actuator (), and a free end of the first link is connected to an end of a second link (). The other end of the second link is pivotally connected to a hinge arm () which is fixedly attached to a closure member and pivotally supports the closure member to a fixed part such as a vehicle body. The first link is adapted to extend substantially from the output shaft towards the closure member as the first link swing around the output shaft, and the second link extends substantially perpendicularly with respect to the center line.

Power actuator system for actuating a closure member

An opening switch for an opening and closing body includes a switch base having a first substrate and a second substrate which are put together in a manner such that inner faces of the substrates face each other and outer faces of the substrates are outer faces of the switch base; a main switch body provided on the outer face of the first substrate; a lever portion which is provided on the inner face of the first substrate and passes the second substrate through a through hole; and a flange portion for preventing an over stroke of the lever portion. The flange portion protrudes from the outer face of the second substrate and is positioned away from the lever portion and on a side toward which the lever portion is inclined. A flexible cover member for covering a combined body of the lever portion and the flange portion is provided.
