Retaining box for slide fastener

Fastener stringer includes a fastener tape provided with a fastener element; and a stop part arranged at an end of the fastener tape. The stop part includes: a magnetic body; an encapsulating member encapsulating the magnetic body; and an injection-molded portion that at least partially covers or surrounds the encapsulating member encapsulating the magnetic body. At least the encapsulating member hinders heat from being transferred to the magnetic body while the injection-molded portion is formed.

Fastener stringer, method for manufacturing same, and slide fastener

Fastener element of slide fastener has an intermediate portion including bent or curved portion between a terminal portion and a base portion. The intermediate portion has an engaging protrusion and an engaged recess which are respectively protruded and recessed on an axis that matches a movement direction of the slider. In an orthogonal direction orthogonal to the axis, a first distance between the axis and the terminal surface of the terminal portion is less than a second distance between the axis and the base end surface of the base portion.

Slide fastener

A first stop member includes a first base and a first insert that is positioned between the first base and a first fastener element and is inserted into the slider via a rear mouth of a slider. A second stop member includes a second base and a second insert that is positioned between the second base and a second fastener element and is inserted into the slider via a second slit of the slider. The second insert moves toward the second slit of the slider in accordance with at least one or respective rotations of the first and second bases. A rotational axis with respect to the at least one or respective rotations of the first and second bases is positioned between the first tape region and the second tape region.

A stop member may include: a main body fixed to both fastener tapes of a slide fastener, the main body including a first portion arranged on first tape surfaces of the fastener tapes and a second portion arranged on second tape surfaces, the second tape surfaces being opposite to the first tape surfaces; and at least one leg fixed to at least one fastener tape and coupled to the first portion of the main body, the leg extending away from the main body and covering a first region of the first tape surface of the fastener tape. The second tape surface may include a second region that is opposite to the first region of the first tape surface and includes a bare region of the second tape surface. The bare region may extend from a peripheral wall surface of the second portion toward a terminal end of the leg.

There is provided a side fastener chain. A plurality of elements are fixed on each of opposing edge portions of a pair of fastener tapes at a predetermined pitch. The elements include a base portion and a head portion. A ratio (Rt) of the sum dimension of a first partial thickness, which is measured from an upper surface of each element to an upper surfaces-side apex of the respective edge portion, and a second partial thickness, which is measured from a lower surface of the element to a lower surface-side apex of the edge portion, to a thickness of the element satisfies the following equation: 40%&#x2264;Rt. A ratio (Rtl) of the thickness of the element to the entire length of the element satisfies the following equation: 0&#x3c;Rtl&#x3c;60%.

Slide fastener chain and slide fastener

Elements are made of a polyacetal resin, which can effectively improve the chain crosswise strength while maintaining wear resistance. Provided is a fastener element made of a polyacetal resin composition containing 5 to 30% by mass of reinforcing fibers each having an average fiber diameter of 5 to 15 &#x3bc;m and a numeric average fiber length of 150 to 500 &#x3bc;m.

A top stop made of a flexible material that cooperates with at least a portion of a slider body. The top stop includes a body having a fin that extends upwardly from the body and that includes a contour that generally conforms to a leading edge of the slider body. In some versions, the top stop has a gap that is configured to snuggly receive a connecting neck of the slider body in such a way that water is prevented from penetrating the slider body. In some embodiments, the top stop includes two extensions, at least one of which has one or more sliding surfaces that are configured so that the slider assembly produces an audible noise when the connecting neck is snuggly received within the gap and the assembly is in the locked position.
