A gasifying agent supply path A from an axial flow compressorwhich boosts pressure of a gasifying agent to a gasifying furnaceis branched, and a gasifying agent bypass path D having an escaping pressure adjusting valveis provided. The flow quantity or pressure of the gasifying agent supplied to the gasifying furnacefrom the gasifying agent supply path A can be adjusted according to the degree of opening of the adjusting valvedisposed in the gasifying agent bypass path D, whereby providing a control valve in the gasifying agent supply path A is no longer necessary. Thus, pressure loss at the gasifying agent supply path A can be suppressed, and the discharge pressure of the axial flow compressorcan be greatly reduced.

Integrated gasification combined cycle power generation plant

A steam temperature Ts and a casing air temperature Ta are measured by thermometers. The measurement results are taken into measuring devices and converted into electric signals. The electric signal is A/D converted by the measuring device and then, is sent to a control apparatus where a difference between both the temperature is calculated by a subtracter of a processor provided in the control apparatus. When an absolute value &#x394;T=|Ta&#x2212;Ts of this difference is contained within 10&#xb0; C. continuously ten times, a control signal is sent from a computing unit to a controller which is the control section, a pressure adjusting valve and the like are controlled and a cooling medium is switched to steam.

Gas turbine, driving method thereof and gas turbine combined electric power generation plant

A combined cycle gas turbine system is improved to enhance a gas turbine efficiency and a combined efficiency by effecting steam-cooling of a combustor transition piece and a turbine blade. The combined cycle system has a gas turbine () having a generator (), a compressor (), a combustor (), a blade cooling air cooler () and a turbine (), a steam turbine () having a high pressure turbine (), an intermediate pressure turbine () and a low pressure turbine (), and a waste heat recovery boiler (). Saturated water of a high pressure pump () is partially led into a demineralizer () and a water sprayer () for cooling steam to be supplied into a moving blade (). The steam, after being used for cooling, is recovered into a reheater (). Outlet steam of the high pressure turbine () is led into a stationary blade () for cooling thereof and the steam is then recovered into an inlet of the intermediate pressure turbine (). Also, steam of an intermediate pressure superheater () is led into a combustor transition piece () for cooling thereof and the steam is recovered into the inlet of the intermediate pressure turbine (). Thus, moving blade cooling steam is reduced and the combined efficiency is enhanced.

Combined cycle gas turbine system

A casing air temperature Ta and a steam temperature Ts are measured, and if an absolute value &#x394;T of a difference between these two temperatures is within a predetermined temperature, the gas turbine is connected to the generator. After the connection is done, the load is gradually increased, and the coolant changeover signal is sent from a processor to a controller. The coolant is then changed to the steam, thereby completing the connection of the gas turbine with the generator and the changeover of the coolant.

An operation method for a combined plant can simplify the steam lines and also decrease the cost for manufacturing combined plants as well. The combined plant comprises a gas turbine plant and a steam turbine plant; the steam turbine plant comprising a steam drum for generating steam and supplying the steam into a steam turbine, a condenser for condensing steam passing through the steam turbine, a steam turbine bypass line for connecting the upstream of the steam turbine and the condenser and bypassing the steam turbine; and a gas turbine steam cooling portion for cooling a hot portion of the gas turbine plant by steam supplied from the steam drum, and which is provided parallel to a pipe connecting the upstream of the steam turbine bypass line and the steam drum, wherein when the combined plant is in a normal operation mode, an amount of steam passing through the gas turbine steam cooling portion is adjusted by a valve which is provided in the steam turbine bypass line.

Operation method for combined plant

In a high-efficiency power generating method to generate electric power by an exhaust gas re-combustion system using at least a gas turbine, a boiler, and a steam turbine, crude oil or heavy oil is heated with steam obtained from the boiler; the crude oil or heavy oil is distilled under reduced pressure; and electric power is generated by using an obtained light oil fraction as a gas turbine fuel and by using a heavy oil fraction as a boiler fuel.

High-efficiency power generating method

A pressurized fluidized bed combined electricity generation system for improving gas turbine output increases and prevention of surging is provided. This pressurized fluidized bed combined electricity generation system is a combined electricity generation system including a steam turbine; a pressurized fluidized bed boiler for generating steam for supply to the steam turbine by combusting air from an air supply system and fuel from a fuel supply system; a gas turbine driven by exhaust gas such as combustion gas from the pressurized fluidized bed boiler and air; and a compressor directly coupled to the gas turbine. In addition, this pressurized fluidized bed combined electricity generation system has a first bypass duct communicating between the outlet side of the compressor and the exhaust gas side of the gas turbine and having a switching valve; a second bypass duct communicating between the outlet side of the compressor and the inlet side of the gas turbine and having a switching valve; and a control device which receives measured pressure values of a pressure detector which measures the pressure at the outlet of the compressor. This control device controls the switching valves of the first and second bypass ducts based on the relationship between the degree of opening of the inlet variable guide vane of the compressor which is determined in advance and a surge limiting pressure. A part of the steam generated by the pressurized fluidized bed boiler is extracted, mixed in with the exhaust gas or the above-mentioned air, and supplied to the gas turbine. Air from the compressor is supplied as fuel for the pressurized fluidized bed boiler.

Pressurized fluidized bed combined electricity generation system

A light oil component is mixed with a heavy oil component so that the kinematic viscosity is not higher than 800 centistokes, the light oil component and the heavy oil component are separated from each other after the mixed oil is transported to a power generation apparatus, and power generation is carried out by burning the light oil component by means of a gas turbine in the power generation apparatus and by burning the heavy oil component by means of a boiler in the power generation apparatus.

Combined cycle power plant and method using both light and heavy oils

A pressurized fluidized bed combined electricity generation system for improving gas turbine output increases and prevention of surging is provided. This pressurized fluidized bed combined electricity generation system is a combined electricity generation system including a steam turbine; a pressurized fluidized bed boiler for generating steam for supply to the steam turbine by combusting air from an air supply system and fuel from a fuel supply system; a gas turbine driven by exhaust gas such as combustion gas from the pressurized fluidized bed boiler and the air; and a compressor directly coupled to the gas turbine. In addition, this pressurized fluidized bed combined electricity generation system has a first bypass duct communicating between the outlet side of the compressor and the exhaust gas side of the gas turbine and having a switching valve; a second bypass duct communicating between the outlet side of the compressor and the inlet side of the gas turbine and having a switching valve; and a control device which receives measured pressure values of a pressure detector which measures the pressure at the outlet of the compressor. Pressurized fluidized-bed combined cycle power generation system

A coal burner combined power plant includes a gas turbine for burning coal in a furnace under the pressure and uses produced gas. A steam turbine is combined with an exhaust gas boiler using exhaust gas from the gas turbine. Another fuel is burned at an inlet of the gas turbine for allowing the temperature at the inlet of the gas turbine to rise. A fuel reformer reforms the other fuel and is located within the furnace.
