A vehicle control system, a vehicle control method, and a storage medium are provided. A stopping process stops fuel supply to one or more stopping cylinders and supplies fuel to one or more remaining cylinders during a load operation of an engine. During execution of the stopping process, a compensating process compensates for a decrease in output of the one or more stopping cylinders due to the execution of the stopping process by increasing output generated by combustion in the one or more remaining cylinders. The system control circuit causes, when the engine rotation speed of the engine is the same, the output after being increased by the compensating process to decrease as a shaft torque of the crankshaft of the engine increases.

An electric vehicle includes: a motor for traveling; an electric power storage device configured to supply and receive electric power to and from the motor; a controller configured to control the motor such that, when an accelerator is off, a braking force based on a traveling position selected from a plurality of traveling positions with different braking forces exhibited when the accelerator is off acts on the electric vehicle; and a notification unit that notifies information. the controller is configured, when the accelerator is off and a first maximum braking force output from the motor is limited more than a second maximum braking force of the traveling position selected when the accelerator is off, among the plurality of traveling positions, to cause the notification unit to notify limitation information indicating that the first maximum braking force is limited.

Electric vehicle

A CPU performs a regeneration process of stopping combustion control in one or some of cylinders and making the air-fuel ratio of an air-fuel mixture in the other cylinders or cylinder richer than a theoretical air-fuel ratio, when the amount of PM collected by a GPF increases. In performing the regeneration process, the CPU itself compensates for a fall in the output of an internal combustion engine by gradually increasing the filling efficiency of the other cylinders or cylinder. It should be noted, however, that since the output of the internal combustion engine temporarily fluctuates, the CPU compensates for the fluctuations through the use of a second motor-generator. The CPU varies the retardation amount of a timing of starting the regeneration process with respect to a timing of gradually increasing the filling efficiency, in accordance with the state of a battery.

Control apparatus for hybrid electric vehicle

When an amount of particulate matters (PM) collected by a gasoline particulate filter (GPF) increases, a control processing unit (CPU) of an engine electronic control unit (ENG ECU) stops combustion control of some cylinders and executes a regeneration process to cause air-fuel ratios of air-fuel mixtures in the remaining cylinders to be richer than a stoichiometric air-fuel ratio. A CPU of a hybrid electric vehicle electronic control unit (HV ECU) increases a target rotation speed of an internal combustion engine when the regeneration process is executed. When executing the regeneration process, the CPU increases a filling efficiency of the internal combustion engine.

Vehicle control system

An ECU controls charging of a power storage device such that an SOC of the power storage device does not exceed a prescribed upper control limit. When an electrically powered vehicle moves in a downhill direction with an MG generating travel torque in an uphill direction on an uphill road (downhill-movement state), the ECU allows charging in which the SOC exceeds the upper control limit. Further, when a request to stop a system of the vehicle is made with the SOC exceeding the upper control limit, the ECU performs a discharge process of discharging the power storage device.

Control of the state of charge of an electrically powered vehicle when traveling on a hill

A charging system includes a locking device locking a connector provided at the end of a cable in the state where the connector is connected to an inlet provided in a vehicle; a release button for releasing locking by the locking device; a switch generating a signal indicating that the connector and the inlet are connected; a horn; and an ECU. In response to the operation of the release button, the switch stops generation of the signal. The ECU controls charging of a power storage device and detects whether the signal is issued or not. In the case where the ECU detects that generation of the signal is stopped during charging of the power storage device, the ECU causes the horn to issue an alarm.

An electronic Control Unit (ECU) executes a program including a step of calculating a first charging current value in accordance with the state of a battery pack; a step of calculating a second charging current value in accordance with the current capacity of a charging cable coupling a hybrid vehicle and an external power supply to output a pilot signal CPLT indicating the current capacity; a step of setting the smaller one of the first charging current value and the second charging current value as a third charging current value; and a step of controlling a charger such that the output current value of the charger connected to the charging cable for controlling a value of a current supplied to the battery pack is equal to the third charging current value, for charging the battery pack.

Vehicle and method of charging vehicle

A vehicle and a power source are connected to each other at the time of charging by a charging cable including a signal line for transmitting a pilot signal for communication of information and a power line for transmitting electric power. The pilot signal has voltage changeable between a high level and a low level having a lower potential than the high level. The charging connector is provided with a power terminal to be supplied with the electric power from the power line, a signal terminal receiving the pilot signal transmitted from the signal line, and a light emitting diode having one end coupled to a signal of the signal line and the other end coupled to a node of a higher potential than the low level, with the forward direction thereof from the other end to the one end.

In a charging system for a vehicle for charging a power storage device, including the vehicle having the power storage device, and a charging cable for transmitting electric power supplied from an external power supply outside of the vehicle to the power storage device, charging information about charging performed by a charging device is set based on a signal generated by operation of an operation switch provided on a charging connector. This configuration can improve operability during charging.

A conversion adaptor enables utilization of a standardized charge cable used when a power storage device mounted on an electrically-powered vehicle is charged by a power source provided outside of the vehicle as a universal cable for transmitting electric power to electric loads having different plug shapes that are respectively standardized from one region to another. An air conditioning control device for a vehicle has an air conditioner for conditioning air in a vehicle interior, an input receiving unit for receiving inputs of both planned departure time of the vehicle and a target temperature in the vehicle interior, a pre-air-conditioning control unit for starting operation of the air conditioner at an air conditioning start time before the planned departure time so that the temperature in the vehicle interior at the planned departure time becomes the target temperature, and an outdoor air temperature acquisition unit for acquiring outdoor air temperature. The pre-air-conditioning control unit changes the air conditioning operation start time based on the outdoor air temperature acquired by the outdoor air temperature acquisition unit.

Charging system and method for operating the same

In the case where a connector of a charging cable is connected to a charging connector provided on a hybrid vehicle, a connector signal CNCT indicating that the connector of the charging cable is connected to the charging connector provided on the hybrid vehicle is input to a power supply ECU and an HV_ECU having an operating frequency higher than that of the power supply ECU. When the connector signal CNCT is input, the power supply ECU activates the HV_ECU. The HV_ECU controls the electrical system of the hybrid vehicle so as to charge a battery pack. The HV_ECU stops the charging when the input of the connector signal CNCT is stopped during charging of the battery pack.

Control apparatus for vehicle

A charging connector and a charging cable unit that are capable of driving a load while being maintenance-free and simply constructed is provided. The charging cable unit includes: a charging cable that includes a signal line for sending a control signal, and an electric power line for sending electric power, and that is provided for connecting the vehicle and an electric power source when the vehicle is charged; and a charging connector connected to an end of the charging cable. The charging connector includes: an electric power terminal to which electric power is supplied from the electric power line; a signal terminal to which the control signal is transmitted from the signal line; and a lighting capable of being driven by the control signal from the signal line.
