An ejector-type refrigeration cycle has a compressor, an ejector module, a discharge capacity control section, and a pressure difference determining section. The ejector module has a body providing a gas-liquid separating space. The pressure difference determining section determines whether a low pressure difference operating condition is met. The low pressure difference operating condition is an operating condition in which a pressure difference obtained by subtracting a low-pressure side refrigerant pressure from a high-pressure side refrigerant pressure a predetermined reference pressure difference or lower. The body is provided with an oil return passage that guides a part of a liquid-phase refrigerant to flow from the gas-liquid separating space to a suction side of the compressor. The discharge capacity control section sets a refrigerant discharge capacity to be a predetermined reference discharge capacity or higher when the low pressure difference operating condition is determined to be met.

Ejector-type refrigeration cycle

An ejector refrigeration cycle device includes: a radiator that dissipates heat from a refrigerant discharged from a compressor; an ejector module that decompresses the refrigerant cooled by the radiator; and an evaporator that evaporates a liquid-phase refrigerant separated in a gas-liquid separation space of the ejector module. A grille shutter is disposed as an inflow-pressure increasing portion between the radiator and a cooling fan blowing the outside air toward the radiator. The grille shutter is operated to decrease the volume of the outside air to be blown toward the radiator when an outside air temperature is equal to or lower than a reference outside air temperature, thereby increasing the pressure of the inflow refrigerant to flow into a nozzle passage of the ejector module.

Ejector refrigeration cycle device and low outside temperature operation thereof

A display device for a vehicle has a first display unit constructed of a liquid crystal display for displaying first information and a second display unit including a display portion for displaying second information. The second information is illuminated by receiving light emitted from a light source and displayed at an intensity higher than an intensity of a background area that is illuminated by receiving light emitted from another light source. An optical coloring member is disposed such that an illuminating color and a brightness of the background area of the second display unit are substantially equal to those of a background area of the first information of the liquid crystal display.

Illuminated display device for vehicle

A blower system, wherein a blower case and a motor holding housing are comprised as separate members, a spiral casing is provided with an enlarged part enlarged in an axial direction to an opposite side from the suction port from a centrifugal type blower fan. The motor holding housing is provided with a holder storing and holding the motor, an extension extending from the holder in a diametrical direction of the fan, a circumferential wall connected with the extension and forming an inner circumferential wall of the enlarged part in the spiral casing. A cooling air passage is provided between the holder and the circumferential wall to guide part of the air circulating inside the spiral casing to the motor. The cooling air passage has an inlet into which air flows from the spiral casing and an outlet at the circumferential wall, out of which air flows to the motor.

A seal device has a for sealing a through hole in a partition includes a first seal for providing a first abutment portion that abuts against a periphery of the through hole in an entirety thereof, and a second seal for providing a second abutment portion that is made of an elastic material for abutting against an outer peripheral surface of a component disposed in the through hole. The first seal and the second seal are connected to cover an entire periphery of the through and the component, and a support member on the second seal has an inner surface shaped in a corresponding form of the component.

A needle meter includes a display device, an indication arrangement, a needle, a first illumination member, a second illumination member, a circuit board, and a movement. The first illumination member illuminates the display device. The second illumination member illuminates the indication arrangement. The circuit board is provided at an opposite side of the display device opposite the reference face of the display device. The needle includes a hub portion, an arm portion, and a pointer portion such that the needle has a generally U-shape and is integrally molded of a translucent resin. The display device, the indication arrangement, the first illumination member, and the second illumination member are integrally received and supported by a bracket to constitute a display unit. The display unit is provided between the pointer portion and the arm portion of the needle in a direction for observing the reference face of the display device.

Needle meter and method for manufacturing the same

A center panel is closer to a viewer in the viewing direction than a speedometer A is and overlapped with the speedometer. The center panel includes an attachment portion extending from a rear side of the center panel towards a dial plate of the speedometer. The center panel is fixed to a printed circuit board of the speedometer via the attachment portion. Accordingly, when a combination meter is viewed, the attachment portion is concealed rearward of the center panel to be invisible. The center panel looks floating separately from the speedometer towards a viewer, which provides a combination meter having excellent visibility and aesthetic cosmetic appearance. Thus, a vehicular display device having excellent visibility and aesthetic cosmetic appearance can be provided by improving a method for supporting a displaying unit on a pointer instrument.

Vehicular display device

In an air conditioning apparatus for a vehicle, a blower unit is arranged such that air is discharged in a substantially front and rear direction of the vehicle. An evaporator is opposed to an air discharge port of the blower unit and inclined at an angle equal to or greater than 45 degrees with respect to a horizontal plane. The heater core is arranged horizontally above the blower unit and an end of the heater core is adjacent to an upper end of the evaporator. Further, a slide door is provided downstream of the air discharge port to distribute the air toward the evaporator and the heater core. By this arrangement, dimensions of the air conditioning apparatus are reduced with respect to horizontal and vertical directions. Thus, this compact air conditioning apparatus can be installed in a small space such as in a center console or an interior side trim space.
