A keyless entry device includes: a transmitter which includes an operating section relating to a door lock state for transmitting a door operation information and a specific identifying information based on an operating state of the operating section; and a receiving unit for outputting a signal to a door lock device based on the transmitted door operation information when the specific identifying information transmitted coincides with a registered identifying information stored previously; wherein a plurality of pieces of partial informations obtained by dividing the registered identifying information are sequentially received by the receiving unit to permit the information to be stored in the receiving unit.

Keyless entry device

A power window system includes an occupant existence determination unit and a power supply unit. The occupant existence determination unit determines whether an occupant is in the compartment or outside the passenger compartment, by receiving a signal from a portable device held by the occupant. The power supply unit supplies a power to a window driving unit when the occupant existence determination unit determines that the occupant is in the compartment and when the vehicle ignition key is in an OFF state.

A vehicle key-less entry system includes a locking mechanism to lock or unlock vehicle doors; a door-handle detector to detect whether a door handle is manipulated and a manipulation mode when the door handle is detected as manipulated; a mobile device to record identification (ID) information and conduct non-contact communications using the ID information; an authenticator to perform an authentication procedure using the ID information through the non-contact communications with the mobile device when the door handle is detected as manipulated; and a locking controller to control the locking mechanism for locking or unlocking the vehicle door based on the manipulation mode detected by the door-handle detector when a result of the authentication procedure is positive. The door-handle detector may detect whether a door handle is manipulated only. The locking controller controls the locking mechanism for locking or unlocking the vehicle door when the vehicle door is detected as unlocked or locked by the locking-state detector when a result of the authentication procedure is positive.

A self diagnostic apparatus of a vehicle information display system for a vehicle for displaying vehicle information based on signals from the vehicle, comprises a self diagnosis switch for instructing self diagnoses of the display system, first judging means for judging whether or not the self diagnosis switch is turned on, second judging means for judging whether or not the display system inputs a signal to display vehicle information from the vehicle and self diagnosis means for performing a self diagnosis of the display system in case where it is judged by the first judging means that the self diagnosis switch is turned on and in case where it is judged by the second judging means that the display system does not input the signal to display vehicle information.

Self diagnostic apparatus for vehicle information display system

A shift lever is provided for selecting operating ranges of an automatic transmission of a motor vehicle. A lock lever is provided for locking the shift lever at a parking range position of the transmission. The lock lever is urged by a spring to the parking range position. The lock lever is arranged to be moved to a release position when a brake pedal of the vehicle is depressed.
