A door weather strip includes at least an exterior installation base member installed on a door frame or a door molding, and a seal lip that is formed protruding and extending above and outside in a vehicle width direction from the exterior installation base member and elastically comes into contact with a vehicle body opening peripheral edge when a door is closed, in which a hard portion that is harder than a seal lip main body portion constituting the seal lip is formed between a tip of the seal lip and a root portion between the seal lip and the exterior installation base member and on the vehicle body opening peripheral edge side.

Door weather strip

A weather strip exhibiting excellent sealing properties is adapted to be attached after being divided into pieces. The weather strip has a seal member. The seal member includes an attaching base part, a window glass seal lip, a support member, a door seal lip extending from an attaching reference surface of the attaching base part, and an attaching engaging part for engagement with a division member such that when the window glass seal lip of the seal member contacts the interior surface of the window glass, the support member contacts the attaching base part to press the attaching base part.

A structure configured to raise and lower vehicle glass door, the structure includes: a door glass; a raising-and-lowering guide tab that is disposed at a vehicle width direction inner side of a glass end section at one vehicle front-rear direction side of the door glass; a slider that includes a slide groove section open at the one vehicle front-rear direction side and into which the raising-and-lowering guide tab is inserted, that is fixed to an inner surface at the vehicle width direction inner side of the glass end section, and that is raised and lowered along the raising-and-lowering guide tab; and restricting sections that are respectively provided at an upper end portion and a lower end portion in a vehicle up-down direction of the slider, that project out from an inner side groove wall face at a vehicle width direction inner side of the slide groove section toward a vehicle width direction outer side, and that face the raising-and-lowering guide tab in a vehicle width direction further toward a vehicle width direction outer side than the inner side groove wall face at an intermediate portion in the vehicle up-down direction of the slider.

Structure configured to raise and lower vehicle glass door

A holding structure of a glass run for an automobile is capable of holding the glass run with a lower channel with excellent insertion workability to hold a door glass securely. In the holding structure of the glass run with the lower channel, the glass run has a first side wall, a second side wall, a third side wall and a fourth side wall, and has a generally rectangular cross section. One part of the side walls is composed of a material with rigidity higher than those of remaining parts of the side walls. A glass slider is attached to an end edge of the door glass below the belt line, and a tip end part of the glass slider, which is continuous with a main part of the glass slider via an opening part of the glass run, is held with the glass run.

Holding structure of glass run for automobile

A glass run is fixed on a channel of a doorframe, which includes a garnish for decorating a vehicle interior. The glass run includes an extruded portion and a molded corner portion. The molded corner portion connects two extruded portions. The molded corner portion includes a cover lip, which covers a gap between the garnish and the doorframe, and an insert lip, which is inserted into the gap. The cover lip is discontinuously formed with the insert lip.

Glass run and structure of fixing the same

An extruded portion of a roof weather strip includes a base portion fixed to a frame base portion and a seal portion projecting upward from the base portion. The seal portion is provided with a front side portion extending toward an outer periphery of the opening from the base portion and a rear side portion connecting a distal end of the front side portion with the base portion. A first boundary portion between the front side portion and the rear side portion is located on an outer peripheral side of the opening with respect to a connecting portion between the rear side portion and the base portion, so that the rear side portion is made to be deformed toward the outer peripheral side of the opening when the roof panel is closed.

Weather strip

A weather strip has a trim part adapted to be mounted on a flange, a seal part having a hollow portion and a cover lip. The trim part has a bottom wall portion, and an interior and an exterior side wall portions which constitute a pair of side wall portions and is formed into a shape, as a whole, having a substantially U-shaped cross section, and an insert of a center bonded type is embedded in the interior of the trim part so constructed. In a skeletal piece of the insert, an angle &#x3b8;a formed by a bottom wall part embedded in the bottom wall portion and an internal part embedded in the interior side wall portion and an angle &#x3b8;b formed by the bottom wall part and an external part embedded in the exterior side wall portion are made to form acute angles.

A sealing structure for providing a seal between panels composing a roof panel with excellent sealing properties and good appearance therearound. The roof panel includes at least one sliding panel and non-sliding panels arranged adjacent to the sliding panel in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle roof, and a weather strip is attached to provide a seal between the sliding panel and the non-sliding panels. The weather strip has a base portion for attachment to a frame member, and a tubular seal portion formed integrally with the base portion on the upper side thereof. The tubular seal portion has a bridge part in an interior space thereof to support the tubular seal portion against the sliding panel which is in its closed position.

Sealing structure of sliding roof of motor vehicle

An attachment structure of a weather strip having a base portion and a tubular seal portion to an opening portion of a motor vehicle or a periphery of a closing member for opening and closing the opening portion. The attachment structure includes a channel part having a U-shaped cross-section and including side walls provided in the opening portion of the motor vehicle or the periphery of the closing member to define a channel. The base portion of the weather strip includes an inserting part adapted to be inserted in the channel and a holding part for holding one of the side walls with the inserting part. The inserting part and the holding part define a slot. The inserting part includes a holding lip which projects from an end of the inserting part obliquely outward. The one side wall is inserted in the slot of the base portion, and the inserting part of the base portion is inserted in the channel such that the holding part holds the one side wall with the inserting part, and the holding lip of the inserting part elastically contacts the other side wall defining the channel.
