A buckle which includes a socket and a plug. The socket includes: a cylindrical main body; a hollow part formed within the main body; a pair of left and right openings continuous to the hollow part and penetrating through wall parts of the main body; and a pair of left and right first latch surfaces defined on opening-side wall surfaces of the wall parts of the main body and inclined in a direction intersecting with an insertion direction of the plug. The plug includes: a base; arms; and a pair of left and right second latch surfaces protruding outward from outer sides of the arms and inclined in the direction intersecting with the insertion direction of the plug.

Buckle

A string stopper temporarily fixing a string with enhanced firmness while having improved handleability is provided. A string stopper includes a body accommodating plural string ends, the body including a substantially cylindrical socket and a plug insertable in the socket, the socket including a string opening, a plug opening, an accommodating portion accommodating a predetermined length of the string ends, and plural securing portions securing the string ends in the accommodating portion, the plug including a base closing the plug opening, a leg integrally extending from the base and insertable in the accommodating portion and a temporarily fixing portion temporarily fixing the string ends and including first projection and second projection laterally projecting from the leg. The first projection includes two or more first projections arranged along the extending direction of the leg. The second projection faces a space between the first projections.

There is provided a lockable buckle including a male member, a female member and a key member. A front surface portion of the female member is formed with a key member insertion hole communicating with an accommodation space. When the key member inserted into the accommodation space through the key member insertion hole is operated, the key member elastically deform engaging portions of the male member to release engagement between the engaging portions and engaged portion of the female member.

A substantially cylindrical socket () and a plug () to be inserted into the socket () are provided. The socket includes a string opening (), a plug opening (), an accommodation section () in communication with the string opening and the plug opening, a plurality of holding sections () for holding string ends (A) accommodated in the accommodation section, and a widening section (). The plug () is provided with a plurality of pressing legs () capable of being widened toward the respective holding sections. The widening section abuts to the pressing legs when the plug is almost fully inserted into the socket (i.e. when at least substantially more than half of the plug is inserted) to press the string ends to the holding sections.

String holder

A cord stopper () of the present invention includes a socket () and a plug (). The plug () includes a pair of arms () and a catching section () arranged on facing surfaces of the pair of arms () to catch a cord. The catching section () includes a holding section () arranged on one of the pair of arms () and a pressing projection () arranged on the other one of the arms (). The holding section () and the pressing projection () are arranged so as to face each other.

An abrasive substrate is removably provided between a head portion and an abrasive member in a carry type abrasive machine. The abrasive substrate is constituted by a single synthetic resin molded member formed of the same material, and a hardness in a peripheral portion is set to be lower than that in a central portion excluding the peripheral edge portion. A difference in the hardness between the central portion and the peripheral portion is regulated by a concavo-convex surface formed on a surface at the fixing side to the head portion of the carry type abrasive machine. It is desirable that the concavo-convex surface should be constituted by a plurality of rib-shaped projections formed on the same plane. The abrasive substrate of the carry type abrasive machine can be manufactured inexpensively and can carry out a reliable and stable abrasion work.

Provided is a buckle which comprises a buckle main body and an engagement member . The buckle main body comprises a base part , at least two insertion holes and provided on the base part with a space in between, to which a belt is inserted, and an upstanding piece provided therebetween for bending the belt in a direction away from the base part . The engagement member can be moved to a first position where the buckle can be moved against the belt and to a second position where the buckle can be fixed to the belt . Further, the engagement member comprises a pressurizing part for pressurizing the belt in the second position so as to obtain a further bent state and an adjustor capable of adjusting the length of the other belt

A fastening device for a polishing paper cloth of a portable polishing machine. The device comprises an attaching portion which can be detachably attached to a base plate of the polishing machine and a fastening device main body for winding the polishing paper cloth thereon to engage therewith. Multiple concave grooves, which are continuous in the winding direction of the polishing paper cloth in parallel, and a cavity portion formed inside are provided. Therefore, by giving flexibility to the main body to allow it to be deformed in many directions, it is possible to prevent a reaction to the operator due to oscillation of the polishing machine generated during the polishing and to improve a discharging function for the polishing waste to the outside by allowing the polishing waste generated during the polishing to easily intrude in the concave grooves. Additionally, during the polishing, the air from the outside is flown through the concave grooves so as to increase the contacts with the outside air, which enables to improve the discharge efficiency of the friction heat generated in the polishing.

Fastening device for polishing paper cloth

In a buckle, in which a housing of a female body and an inserting plate of a male body are engaged with each other and which is provided with a simple locking mechanism by using a key, the housing of the female body is provided with an engaging portion, while the inserting plate of the male body is provided with an engaged portion. Alternatively, the housing is provided with an engaged portion while the inserting plate is provided with an engaging portion. Therefore, the female body and the male body can be engaged with each other to be locked. When they are locked, a belt adjusting portion of the male body is concealed in the housing of the female body, so that a belt is difficult to be adjusted. Specifically, the belt can be never loosened but only adjustable in a direction of fastening. Thus, the buckle is provided with a convenient belt adjusting portion, which can not adjust a length of the belt when the female body and the male body are locked with each other.

This invention provides various kinds of engaging devices made of thermoplastic resin material which has an excellent productivity and secures an easiness in handling upon engagement or disengagement and in which breaking of hook element at each end is prevented and the hook element is never pierced into the finger. More specifically, the invention provides an engaging device having a plurality of hook elements disposed in plural rows on a surface of a substrate so as to engage with an engaging portion of a mating member having a plurality of loop elements on a surface thereof. Projections risen substantially vertically from a surface of the substrate are formed integrally therewith so as to secure protection function and backup function.

Engaging device

This invention provides a cord fastener wherein a tightening cord is threaded through or an end of the tightening cord is nipped thereby, the cord fastener being captured and fixed easily with stability on the surface of a down jacket with hood and the like. This cord fastener comprises a cylindrical main body having a bottom and a pair of cam faces at a bottom thereof and a sliding body capable of fitting in an inside of the main body and containing a body portion provided at an upper portion thereof and a pair of elastic leg portions at a lower portion thereof. Insertion holes for a tightening cord are provided in the main body and sliding body. The sliding body is inserted into the main body and then the tightening cord is inserted while pressing the sliding body. When the pressing is released, the sliding body is resiled so that the tightening cord is fixed. A surface fastener member is provided on a surface of the main-body perpendicular to the insertion hole by integral molding or bonding. Other surface fastener member is attached to a surface of a ski wear and the like and by engaging both the surface fastener members with each other, the cord fastener is captured and fixed. As a result, such an event that the cord fastener may swing during a motion of user or due to a strong wind thereby giving a uncomfortable feeling is eliminated.

This invention provides an engaging member of a fastening device integrally molded of synthetic resin which enables sewing thereof to clothes easily and accurately, ensures ease and smoothness in an operation for opening the engaging member of the fastening device even if it is molded relatively thick, and prevents too much force being applied to a sewing yarn by an external force upon the opening operation thereby ensuring durability and contributes to reduction of production cost. The engaging member of the fastening device is integrally molded with a substantially J-shaped section, consisting first and second flat plate portions substantially parallel with different lengths and made of thermoplastic synthetic resin material, whose each of end portions is connected via a connecting portion, wherein a number of engaging elements are formed on the surface of the first flat plate portion having a larger area such that they are in an upright position and a groove-like sewing line is formed along an entire peripheral edge portion thereof, a groove-like sewing line whose end portions are open is formed corresponding to part of the sewing line formed on the first flat plate portion on the second flat plate portion having a smaller area, and a tab made of the same resin material is molded integrally on the connecting portion so as to project outward from the connecting portion in parallel to the flat plate portions.
