A steering control device includes an emergency determination unit configured to determine whether or not an emergency exists in which an emergency avoidance operation is to be performed, and a work adjustment unit configured to adjust work of a driver required to steer steered wheels. The work adjustment unit is configured to execute emergency adjustment processing for adjusting the work in accordance with a determination result of whether or not an emergency exists. The emergency adjustment processing includes reduction processing for reducing the work in an initial stage after the emergency determination unit determines that an emergency exists, as compared in a case in which determination is not made that an emergency exists.

Steering control device and steering control method

A steering system is configured such that electric power is supplied to a steering actuator and a turning actuator from a first power supply when a power state of a vehicle is an on state and supply of the electric power from the first power supply is cut off when the power state is an off state. The steering system includes a rotation curbing unit configured to operate such that rotation of the steering wheel is curbed in at least a part of a first power-off period from when the power state becomes an off state until when the power state becomes the on state next, as an operating period, and a second power supply configured to supply, to the rotation curbing unit, the electric power required for operation of the rotation curbing unit in the operating period, the second power supply being different from the first power supply.

Steering system

In a facility system, a first gateway PLC connected to first processing machines and second gateway PLCs connected to second processing machines are connected to an upper-level network. Further, the first gateway PLC and the second gateway PLCs control operation mutually associated between the first processing machines and the second processing machines on the basis of mutually associated information which is acquired from the first processing machines and the second processing machines.

Facility system

In a rotation angle detection device, when a condition that two sensors among three magnetic sensors sense one and the same magnetic pole for three consecutive sampling periods is satisfied, a rotation angle is computed based on output signals from the two sensors, sampled at three sampling timings. When the output signals sampled at the three sampling timings satisfy a prescribed requirement, an angular width error correction value corresponding to the magnetic pole sensed by the two sensors and amplitudes are computed, and stored in association with the magnetic pole. If the condition is not satisfied, the rotation angle is computed based on the information stored in a memory and the output signals from two sensors among the three magnetic sensors, the two magnetic sensors including one of the three magnetic sensors, which detects the magnetic pole of which the angular width error correction value is stored in the memory.

Rotation angle detection device

In a phase difference detector, a first phase difference computation unit computes a value of E(i)&#xb7;C corresponding to one and the same given magnetic pole sensed by the two magnetic sensors with use of six output signals sampled at three different timings while the two magnetic sensors are sensing the given magnetic pole when a rotary body is rotating. E is an angular width error correction value, and C is a phase difference between two signals. The first phase difference computation unit executes this process until values of E(i)&#xb7;C corresponding to all the magnetic poles are computed. After that, the first phase difference computation unit computes the phase difference between the output signals with use of the values of E(i)&#xb7;C corresponding to all the magnetic poles and the number (m) of the magnetic poles.

Phase difference detector and rotation angle detection device including the same

Rotation angle computation modes include a normal mode and a simple mode. In normal mode, a rotation angle of an input shaft is computed based on output signals from first and second magnetic sensors, which are sampled at two sampling timings. In simple mode, the rotation angle of the input shaft is computed based on the output signals from the first and second magnetic sensors, which are sampled at one sampling timing, and an amplitude ratio between the output signals from the magnetic sensors set in advance. After a power supply is turned on, the rotation angle is computed in the simple mode until a condition that the rotation angle of the input shaft can be computed in the normal mode even if the immediately preceding value of the rotation angle of the input shaft is not present is satisfied. Then, the rotation angle is computed in the normal mode.

Rotation angle detection device and electric power steering system including the same

Sinusoidal signals (S, S) having a phase difference of 120&#xb0; are output from two magnetic sensors in accordance with rotation of an input shaft. A first rotation angle computation unit computes a rotation angle &#x3b8;(n) on the basis of output signals S(n), S(n&#x2212;1), S(n), S(n&#x2212;1) from the magnetic sensors, which are sampled at two sampling timings. At this time, the first rotation angle computation unit computes the rotation angle &#x3b8;(n) on the assumption that there are no variations of amplitudes of the output signals (S, S) from each one of the two sensors due to temperature changes between the two sampling timings.

A torque detecting apparatus detects a torque applied to a first shaft, based on a relative rotational displacement between the first shaft and a second shaft caused by torsion in a coupling shaft which couples the first shaft and the second shaft. The torque detecting apparatus includes: first and second magnets which are coupled to the first shaft and the second shaft so as to rotate together with the first shaft and second shaft, respectively; and a plurality of magnetic sensors which are disposed between the first magnet and the second magnet and which detect a rotational angle of the first shaft and a rotational angle of the second shaft.

Torque detecting apparatus

An output signal V=sin &#x3b8; is output from a first magnetic sensor and an output signal V=cos(&#x3b8;+&#x3b1;) is output from a second magnetic sensor. An output signal correction unit in a rotation angle computing device corrects the output signal Vfrom the second magnetic sensor to an output signal V' (=cos &#x3b8;) so that a positional phase difference (90&#xb0;+&#x3b1;) between the magnetic sensors and is made equal to a target phase difference of 90&#xb0;. A rotation angle computing unit computes the rotation angle &#x3b8; of a rotor based on the corrected signal V&#x2032; (=cos &#x3b8;) and the other output signal V(=sin &#x3b8;).

When the estimated motor temperature becomes equal to or higher than the first predetermined temperature, an addition angle correction unit temporarily decreases the absolute value of the addition angle output from an addition angle limiter at time intervals. The addition angle correction unit makes the time interval shorter as the estimated motor temperature increases. When the time interval becomes equal to or shorter than the predetermined threshold, that is, when the estimated motor temperature becomes equal to or higher than the second predetermined temperature that is higher than the first predetermined temperature, the addition angle correction unit notifies a command current value changing unit of a current stop command. Thus, the &#x3b3;-axis command current value is changed to 0, and therefore the steering mode is shifted to the manual steer mode.

Motor control unit and vehicle steering system

A motor controller controls a motor including a rotor and a stator opposed to the rotor. The motor controller includes an electric current driving unit which drives the motor with an axis electric current value defined in a rotating coordinate system defined with respect to a control angle that is a rotation angle for control, a control angle computing unit which computes a current value of the control angle by adding an addition angle to a previous value of the control angle in each predetermined computing cycle, and an addition angle computing unit which computes the addition angle according to a torque to be generated by the motor or a response of the motor to the axis electric current value.

Motor control device and vehicle-steering device comprising same

An electric motor controller for controlling an electric motor that includes a rotor and a stator that faces the rotor. The electric motor controller includes a current drive unit; an addition angle calculation unit; a control angle calculation unit; a torque detection unit; a changing unit and a suspending unit.

Electric motor controller and electric motor controller for vehicle steering apparatus

A motor control unit includes a detected steering torque correction unit that corrects the detected steering torque that is detected by a torque sensor and then subjected to a limitation process by a steering torque limiter. When the absolute value of the detected steering torque is equal to or smaller than a predetermined value, the detected steering torque correction unit corrects the detected steering torque to 0. When the absolute value of the detected steering torque is larger than the predetermined value, the detected steering torque correction unit outputs the detected steering torque without correction. A PI control unit calculates the addition angle based on the deviation of the control torque obtained through correction by the detected steering torque correction unit from the command steering torque.

An electric power steering system includes a motor that applies assist force to a steering system, and updates a motor resistance (Rm) that is a value indicating a resistance of the motor. Specifically, the motor resistance (Rm) is updated on the basis of the fact that an induced voltage (EX) of the motor is smaller than a first determination value (GA). In addition, when the induced voltage (EX) is smaller than or equal to a second determination value (GB), a divided value that is obtained by dividing a motor voltage (Vm) by a motor current (Im) is set as a new motor resistance (Rm).

Electric power steering system

There is provided a controller for a steering device that makes it possible to prevent sudden ceasing of steering assisting power by effectively utilizing an auxiliary power source. An electric power steering device that generates steering assist force by a motor includes a battery for supplying electric power to the motor, an auxiliary power source that supplies the motor with electric power, and a control circuit for controlling a power supply to the motor. In the event of a breakdown of the battery, the control circuit adjusts a power supply to the motor from the auxiliary power source according to an amount of energy remaining in the auxiliary power source so as to reduce steering assist force.
