An electrolyzed water generating devicehas an electrolysis chamber, a first feeding bodyand a second feeding bodyto which a DC voltage is applied, a diaphragmdisposed between the first feeding bodyand the second feeding bodyto divide the electrolysis chamberinto a first-polar chamberand a second-polar chamber, a control unitfor switching a polarity of the first feeding bodyto an anode or a cathode and a polarity of the second feeding bodyto a cathode or an anode, a flow rate sensordetecting an amount of flowing water into the electrolysis chamberon the cathode side per unit time, and a current detecting meansdetecting a DC current supplied to the first feeding bodyand the second feeding body. The surfaces of the first feeding bodyand the second feeding bodyare formed of a hydrogen storage metal. The control unitcalculates a concentration of hydrogen storage metal colloid based on the DC current and an integrated value of the amount of flowing water after switching the polarities.

Electrolyzed water generating device and electrolyzed water generating method

An electrolyzed water generation device is provided with a first flow passage delivering electrolyzed water generated in one of a first polar chamber and a second polar chamber of an electrolytic chamber, a second flow passage delivering electrolyzed water generated in the other one of the first polar chamber and the second polar chamber, a double autochange crossline valve in which a flow rate regulating valveand a flow passage switching valveare interlocked, a polarity switching unitswitching the polarities of a first power feederand a second power feeder, and a determination unitdetermining switching timing of the polarity switching unitand the flow passage switching valve. The determination unitintegrates electrolysis time in the electrolytic chamberand determines that the switching timing arrives when an integrated electrolysis time t reaches a predetermined threshold value T without the polarity being switched.

Electrolyzed water generation device

The operation unitcomprises: an operational surface (); a display unitfor displaying operational areas, andcorresponding to the operational modes along a first coordinate axisin an order of pH of the functional water to be produced; and a position detecting unitfor detecting a position of the touch by a user on the operational surface (). Based on the information of the position, the control unitdetermines the operational mode, and produces water according to the operational mode.

Functional water production device

The electrolyzed water-generating apparatusincludes: a first electrode chamber Da; a first water inlet pathconnected to the first electrode chamber Da to supply the first electrode chamber Da with raw water from outside; a first water outlet pathconnected to the first electrode chamber Da, and dispensing out of the first electrode chamber Da electrolyzed hydrogen water generated by electrolysis in the first electrode chamber Da; and a charge amount adjusterconnected to the electrolysis tank D to adjust an amount of electrical charge to be provided to the electrolyzed hydrogen water. The charge amount adjusteradjusts, based on a flow rate of the raw water, the amount of the electrical charge per unit quantity of the generated electrolyzed hydrogen water through control of an electrolytic current or an electrolytic voltage, so that the adjusted amount of the electrical charge is constant.
