According to one embodiment, a diagnostic system includes a conveyor device first and second sensors and a diagnostic device. The conveyor device includes an endless chain having a plurality of rollers coupled at regular pitches and each fit into a bush, to circularly move between a first sprocket and a second sprocket. The first and second sensors diagonally are disposed apart from each other on a moving path of the chain, irrespective of an operating direction of the conveyor device, to detect a passage of each of the rollers of the chain. The diagnostic device measures an amount of elongation of the chain based on a first detection signal output from the first sensor and a second detection signal output from the second sensor according to movement of the chain during operation of the conveyor device.

Diagnostic system

A rail installation assist device includes at least control circuitry. The control circuitry is configured to acquire displacement information representing displacement of individual rail brackets and a rail joint from a reference position, the rail brackets that fix guide rails in an elevator shaft, the rail joint that joins the guide rails together; estimate, from the displacement information, a change in the displacement information of the rail brackets and the rail joint when the rail brackets are moved to given target positions; calculate an evaluation value for variation in the displacement information before the change and an evaluation value for variation in the displacement information after the change; and set positions of the rail brackets based on a result of comparison between the evaluation values.

An escalator step includes a tread having a body section on which a plurality of convex sections are arranged in parallel, a riser connected to a rear end portion of the tread and having thereon a plurality of convex sections and a plurality of concave sections formed between the adjacent convex sections, and a shock absorbing cleat provided on a corner at which the riser and tread are connected to each other. The shock absorbing cleat includes a plurality of long convex sections which are arranged in parallel and a plurality of short convex sections which are arranged in parallel between the adjacent long convex sections. The shock absorbing cleat is formed of a polymeric material having a Young's modulus of 1000 MPa or less.

Escalator step and escalator having thereof

An escalator step includes: a tread that includes a body section wherein a plurality of convex sections, which are parallel in a travelling direction, are arranged in a width direction; a riser that is coupled at a rear end portion of the body section of the tread and on which a plurality of convex sections are arranged in a width direction, with troughs being formed between adjacent convex sections; and a shock absorbing cleat located in a notch formed in a corner portion where the riser and the tread are coupled together. On the shock absorbing cleat, a plurality of convex sections, arranged in a width direction and parallel to the travelling direction, rear end surfaces are flush with troughs of the riser, each of the convex sections of the shock absorbing cleat is shifted a half pitch from each of the convex sections of the riser.

A footstep guide rail () (rail body) is arranged so that a level H of a horizontal surface is set at the position obtained by adding a designated offset &#x3b4; to a tangential line L of a drive sprocket () and the footstep guide rail () is provided, at its one end on an introductory side of the drive sprocket (), with a curved part (). At a reference position closest to the drive sprocket (), the horizontal surface of the footstep guide rail () is changed to the curved part (). Consequently, it is possible to absorb velocity unevenness of one footstep roller approaching the drive sprocket ().

Conveyer apparatus

Provided is a passenger conveyor including a plurality of steps () having step rollers (and), a step chain () circulatingly moving in conjunction with each of the plurality of steps (), guide rails (and) provided in an intermediate portion of a truss and guiding the step rollers (and) of each step (), and an intermediate driving device () provided in the intermediate portion of the truss and configured to transmit a driving force to the step chain (). A step-attitude changing zone (Z) for changing the attitude of each step () on a return path side is provided on the traveling path of the steps () on the return path side.

Passenger conveyor

A conveyor apparatus is provided that is free of a pulsing motion in the circulating chains so as to provide a comfortable ride quality on its steps. The conveyor apparatus includes a step guide rail, a plurality of steps, a step chain, and a chain driving mechanism for driving the step chain. The chain driving mechanism includes a rotating and driving unit, a driving sprocket which is rotated by a driving force given by the rotating and driving unit, and a circulating chain for giving a thrust to the step chain. The circulating chain has chain links and hinges that are to be connected to the adjacent chain links. The chain link includes a placing surface on which the step roller is placed, and pressing surfaces that are in contact with step rollers.

Conveyor apparatus

In order to suppress speed irregularity of step rollers () in a passenger conveyor, a bent section () is formed in a step guide rail () and a restraining member () is provided upstream thereof, the shape of the height of the bent section () and the restraining member () is corrected beforehand by the amount of the compression of resilient members of the step rollers (), which are formed with such resilient members around their shafts, by the compressive force acting between the bent section () and restraining member (). Thus generation of speed irregularity of the steps () is suppressed and passenger comfort is improved. Also, by providing a recess () in the step guide rail (), gripping of the step rollers () as they execute rolling movement along the undersurface of the restraining member () from below can be avoided, thereby preventing damage to the step rollers (), restraining member () and step guide rail ().

Conveyor device

A mountainous or valley-shaped curved partis provided in a part of a footstep guide railfor guiding a movement of footstep rollerslinked by a footstep chain, the part being positioned in the vicinity of a drive sprocket. Consequently, owing to meshing of the footstep rollerswith the drive sprocket, an unevenness in velocity of the footstep rollersis absorbed by the curved part, so that a moving velocity of the footstep rollersmoving on the downstream of the curved partis maintained constantly, suppressing vibrating of the footsteps

Conveyer apparatus having footsteps

A conveyor apparatus comprises step chains which couple a plurality of steps such that the steps, and driving units which drive the chains. Each of the driving units comprises a power unit comprising a motor, and a driving machine including pulleys and belts that reduce a rotation speed of the motor so as to meet a required reduction gear ratio and transfer the rotation speed to the chains, and a pair of right and left driving mechanisms that convert a rotary movement transferred from the machine of the power unit via an eccentric shaft into a movement of rocking units, and apply a propelling force to the chains via pin rollers provided at any one of sides of the rocking units and the chains and gears provided at the other side of the rocking units and the chains to engage with the rollers.

An elevator door apparatus includes an engaging device which engages car doors with hall doors. The engaging device uses a spring unit to urge a movable vane provided in each of the car doors. While the doors are moving, engaging rollers supported by the hall doors are sandwiched between the movable vane and a fixed vane. Thus, the driving forces of the car doors are transmitted to the hall doors. When the hall doors reach a door stop position, the movable vane is moved away from the fixed vane. Thus, the car doors are disengaged from the hall doors. At this time, a direction in which the elastic force of the spring mechanism acts is switched. Consequently, the car doors and the hall doors are stably held so that the car doors remain disengaged from the hall doors.

Elevator door apparatus

An eccentric crankshaft is connected to a rotary driving device, and a rocking unit is connected to the eccentric crankshaft. Pin roller rolling gear teeth, each having a trochoid tooth-shape, are provided in the rocking unit. When the rocking unit rocks in accordance with eccentric rotation of the eccentric crankshaft, the trochoid shape of the pin roller rolling gear teeth meshes with pin rollers and thus gives a thrust to the pin rollers, thereby driving footsteps.

Passenger conveyor device

In an elevator, a driving unit is installed at the top of an elevator shaft above a counterweight. Traction sheaves engage with ropes and are rotated by the driving device. These traction sheaves are positioned close to wall surfaces of the elevator shaft, that are adjacent to its wall surface facing the counterweight. The traction sheaves are also positioned outside the horizontally projected plane of a car.

A conveyor apparatus according to the present invention comprises a tread guide rail which is provided on a structure , and a plurality to treads which moves along the tread guide rail . The plurality of treads are connected by a chain having pin rollers 5 . An eccentrically rotatable eccentric crank shaft is connected to a rotation drive unit . The eccentric crank shaft is connected to an oscillating body which oscillates in accordance with the eccentric rotation of the eccentric crank shaft . The oscillating body is provided with pin roller rolling teeth having a trochoid tooth profile for giving thrust to the pin rollers in accordance with the oscillation of the oscillating body

In a closing magnetic circuit, when a movable contact is in contact with a fixed contact and a switching device is closed, N and S poles of a permanent magnet attract the fixed member in a direction in which the movable contact is pressed against the fixed contact. In an opening magnetic circuit, when the movable contact is separated from the fixed contact and the switching device is open, one of the N and S poles of the permanent magnet attracts the fixed member in a direction in which the movable contact is separated from the fixed contact. An operating electromagnet winding increases and decreases the magnetism in the closing magnetic circuit and opening magnetic circuit. With this configuration, it is possible to realize an operating apparatus for a switching device using a simple mechanism and assure a stable operation by producing a great contact load.
