There is provided a subjective eye refracting power measurement apparatus which measures a refracting power of a subject eye. The apparatus includes a projection optical system which projects a visual target light flux toward the subject eye to form a visual target on a fundus of the subject eye; a correction optical system which changes a refracting power thereof; a relay optical system which relays a light flux passing through the correction optical system and to form an image of the correction optical system in front of the subject eye; a deviation detector which detects a positional deviation of the image of the correction optical system with respect to the subject eye; and a correction unit which optically corrects a formation position of the image based on a detection result by the deviation detector such that the image is formed in front of the subject eye.

Subjective eye refracting power measurement apparatus

A subjective vision testing system is used for visual function tests for examinees. The subjective vision testing system is provided with an optometric apparatus which selectively sets optical elements in front of both eyes of an examinee, an optotype presenting apparatus for displaying optotypes to the examinee, and a controller. The optotype presenting apparatus, based on a command signal for implementation of a binocular balance test, displays optotypes used for binocular balance tests. The optometric apparatus, based on a command signal for implementation of a binocular balance test, sets a first prism in front of the examinee's right eye and a second prism in front of the examinee's left eye. The second prism has a base direction vertically opposite to the first prism and the same prism power as the first prism.

Vision testing system

A subjective vision tester includes a pair of right and left lens chamber units () each having a test window (), a first lens disk (-) provided with an aperture and a plurality of optical elements () and placed in a position closer to an examinee's eye (E) within the each lens chamber unit, and a second lens disk () provided with an aperture () and a plurality of optical elements () and placed in a position farther from the examinee's eye than the first lens disk within the lens chamber unit. The first lens disk and the second lens disk are equal in diameter. The diameter of the diameter of the aperture in the second lens disk is larger than each optical element in the first lens disk.

Vision tester

A vision test pattern indicator is provided with a color display for displaying optotypes used for binocular vision tests which are conducted with a red filter set in front of an eye of an examinee and a green filter set in front of the other eye, and an arithmetic control part which controls the color display as a first optotype figure is displayed in a green color, a second optotype figure is displayed in a red color, a third optotype figure for fusion stimulus is displayed in a color excluding red and green components and a background of the optotypes is displayed in a white color.

Vision test pattern indicator

An optotype presenting apparatus of a display type with which a polarization red-green test with accuracy can be performed has a display, a polarization optical member including first and second optical regions changing light from the display into light having perpendicular polarizing axes, a selector, regions where optotypes for left and right eyes are to be presented, and a controller, wherein, when a polarization red-green test chart is selected with the selector, the controller controls the display to display a left-eye polarization red-green optotype in pixel regions corresponding to the first regions within the left-optotype-presenting region and display pixel regions in white corresponding to the second regions within the left-optotype-presenting region, while the controller controls to display a right-eye polarization red-green optotype in pixel regions corresponding to the second regions within the right-optotype-presenting region and display pixel regions in white corresponding to the first regions within the right-optotype-presenting region.

Optotype presenting apparatus

An optometric apparatus for examining refractive power of an examinee's eye subjectively, capable of performing highly-precise examination. The apparatus has a test window through which a presented optotype is seen, a first spherical-power applying unit which applies spherical power to the eye by changing a combination of spherical lenses in the window, a cylindrical-power applying unit which applies cylindrical power to the eye by changing a relative angle of a cylindrical axis of cylindrical lenses in the window, a second spherical-power applying unit including a spherical lens for correction, an instruction unit which instructs examination spherical and cylindrical power, a power-determining unit which determines power applied by the power-applying units so that a difference between the instructed examination power, and resultant spherical and cylindrical power through conversion for a spectacles wearing reference position falls within a predetermined permissible difference, and a control unit which controls driving of the power-applying units.

Optometric apparatus

An optometric apparatus for a subjective examination of a visual function of an eye of an examinee includes a pair of right and left lens chamber units, each including, a test window and a rotating disk on which a plurality of optical elements are mounted in a circumferential arrangement to be changeably placed in the test window, the optical elements including a green filter and an aperture.

An optometric apparatus () for subjectively examining a visual function of an examinee's eye, includes: a pair of right and left lens chamber units (), each including a test window () and optical elements to be changeably disposed in the test window; a support unit () which supports the lens chamber units so that the units may be converged; a near vision examination chart () to be disposed at a changeable distance from the test window; and an illumination unit () which illuminates the near vision chart, the illumination unit being provided in each lens chamber unit.

An optometric apparatus for subjectively examining visual functions of an eye (PE) of an examinee is disclosed. This apparatus includes: a disposing unit () for disposing an optical element () in front of the examinee's eye; a cornea position alignment optical system () for checking a vertex distance between a back surface of the disposed optical element and a corneal vertex of the examinee's eye; wherein the alignment optical system includes an aligning scale plate () provided with a scale (S&#x2013;S) for checking the vertex distance, a reticle plate () provided with a reticle () and placed in a different place from the aligning scale plate, and a first reference mark () and a second reference mark () for positioning an eye (OE) of an examiner in a point at a predetermined distance from the reticle plate, the first and second reference marks being provided in different places and appearing, to the examiner's eye, to have a predetermined positional relation with each other when the examiner's eye is positioned in the point at the predetermined distance from the reticle plate.

An optometric apparatus for a subjective examination of a visual function of an examinee's eye includes a pair of right-and-left lens chamber units, each having test windows; and rotary disks disposed in each unit, each disk holding therein optical elements, one of the optical elements in each disk being placed between the test windows; and the optical elements include optical elements of 29 mm to 39 mm in effective diameter.

In a device for spectacles for measuring eye points of a subject, an index is presented to the subject, a positional relationship between an eye of the subject and the index is varied, and the eye points of the subject is measured based on information about the positional relationship between the subject's eye and the index.

Eye refractive power measurement apparatus

An optometric apparatus for correcting the refraction of an eye to be examined, which allows even a person who is inexperienced and unfamiliar with optometry to easily obtain appropriate prescription values, and conduct analysis of the visual function. The optometric apparatus has a rotary prism for imparting a prism power to the eye to be examined.
