A magnetic sensor comprising: an application specific integrated circuit (ASIC); an insulating protective film formed on a surface of the ASIC; a substrate film formed on the insulating protective film; and a magnetic field detection element formed on the substrate film, the magnetic field detection element including two magnetic wires on the substrate film, a detection coil surrounding the two magnetic wires, two electrodes coupled to the two magnetic wires for wire energization, and two electrodes coupled to the coil for coil voltage detection.

Ultra-small and high-sensitivity magnetic sensor

In a GSR sensor element, tm and ti of rising pulse detection are close, and the induced voltage is significantly high at tm. Thus, a variation due to the magnetic field cannot be ignored. To remove an induced voltage from an output voltage and achieve a GSR sensor with a rising pulse detection system. On the basis of the knowledge that the polarity of an induced voltage becomes opposite relative to a direction of the current flowing in a magnetic wire, if one coil includes therein two magnetic wires in which currents of opposite polarities flow, an induced current is cancelled, allowing for the detection of a voltage in proportion to a magnetic field.

A magnetic type azimuth/position measurement device is disclosed, comprising: a plurality of coils driven by circuitry, the circuitry and coils configured to selectively generate a uniform magnetic field and an inclined magnetic field in a three-dimensional space; a uniaxial magnetic field sensor configured to measure a strength of a magnetic field formed by the plurality of coils driven by circuitry; and arithmetic operation circuitry configured to receive signals representative of the strength of the magnetic field from the uniaxial magnetic field sensor and calculate a position and an azimuth of the uniaxial magnetic field sensor in the three-dimensional space.

Magnetic type azimuth/position measurement device

The invention relates to a three-dimensional magnetic field detection device () which comprises three soft-magnetic bodies () and a magnetic field detection element () comprising three GSR elements. For three axial directions that are orthogonal to each other at an origin point that is the center point of measurement, the invention measures, for a first axial direction, a first-axial-direction magnetic field using two elements sandwiching the origin point, measures, for a second axial direction, a second-axial-direction magnetic field through disposing one element at the position of the origin point, and measures, for a third axial direction, a third-axial-direction magnetic field through combining the two elements for the first axial direction and the three soft-magnetic bodies and forming two crank-shaped magnetic circuits having point symmetry.

Three-dimensional magnetic field detection element and three-dimensional magnetic field detection device

A magnetic sensor, comprising: a substrate having a groove; two conductive magnetic wires for magnetic field detection arranged adjacent and substantially parallel to one another and at least partially recessed in the groove on the substrate, the two conductive magnetic wires electrically coupled at one end; a coil surrounding the two magnetic wires; two electrodes coupled to the two conductive magnetic wires for wire energization; and two electrodes coupled to the coil for coil voltage detection.

Ultra high-sensitivity micro magnetic sensor

Anisotropic rare earth magnet powder particles include RTMB-type crystals of a tetragonal compound consisting of one or more rare earth element, B, and one or more transition element, and enveloping layers containing at least Nd and Cu. Surfaces of the RTMB-type crystals are enveloped by the enveloping layers. The particles has an average crystal grain diameter of 0.05 to 1 &#x3bc;m. The particles contain, when the whole particles are taken as 100 atomic %, 11.5 to 15 atomic % of total rare earth element (Rt); 5.5 to 8 atomic % of B; and about 0.05 atomic % to about 2 atomic % of Cu. The powder particles have an atomic ratio of Cu, which is a ratio of the total number of Cu atoms to a total number of atoms of Rt, falling within the range of 1 to 6%. The powder particles do not include dysprosium Dy, Tb, Ho and Ga. Coercivity of the magnetic powder is more than 955 kA/m.

Anisotropic rare earth magnet powder, method for producing the same, and bonded magnet

A magnetometer provides a newly designed signal processing circuit that can reduce noise and increase the magnetic sensitivity by means of reducing the noise of GND electrode potential occurred at the timing when the pulse current passes through the magnetic wire. It is characterized by preparing a differential element with a neutral coil electrode, a differential sample holding circuit and a differential amplifier circuit.

Peak coil voltage is detected by a circuit characterized with pulse generator, GSR element, Buffer circuit, sample holding circuit, amplifier circuit and means to invert it to external magnetic field. The induced coil voltage caused by parasitic coil capacitance and wiring loop is vanished by combination coil of right and left turn coil. The magnetometers can provide lower noise, wide measuring range with a small size detector part and is applied to smartphones, wearable computer and so on.

High sensitive micro sized magnetometer

A production method for an anisotropic bonded magnet includes: filling the annular cavity with a magnet raw material including one or more types of rare-earth anisotropic magnet powder and a binder resin; applying aligning magnetic fields to the magnet raw material being aligned in the softened or molten binder resin, the aligning magnetic fields are applied from an even number of aligning magnetic pole bodies arranged around outer periphery of the annular cavity such that directions of magnetic fields are alternated; subjecting the magnet raw material to a molding to form a compact; rotating the aligning magnetic pole bodies in circumferential direction for a predetermined angle; and applying demagnetization magnetic fields to the compact from the aligning magnetic pole bodies during the alignment step. The demagnetization magnetic fields are in directions for cancelling magnetization of the compact caused by the aligning magnetic fields.

Production method for anisotropic bonded magnet and production apparatus for same

A method for production of an anisotropic bonded magnet includes: aligning magnetic pole bodies which include an even number of permanent magnets arranged uniformly around an outer periphery of an annular cavity filled with magnetic raw material, aligning magnetic fields to cause rare-earth anisotropic magnet powder to be semi-radially aligned; compressively molding the semi-radially aligned magnet raw material to obtain an annular compact; discharging the compact from the annular cavity; demagnetizing causing the aligning magnetic pole bodies to relatively move only in circumferential direction with respect to the compact after the molding step thereby to apply demagnetization magnetic fields to the compact; The demagnetization magnetic fields are applied from the aligning magnetic pole bodies with opposite poles to those during the alignment step, and the demagnetization magnetic fields are in directions for cancelling the magnetization of the compact caused by the aligning magnetic fields.

The anisotropic rare earth magnet powder of the present invention includes powder particles having RTMB-type crystals of a tetragonal compound of a rare earth element (R), boron (B), and a transition element (TM) having an average crystal grain diameter of 0.05 to 1 &#x3bc;m, and enveloping layers containing at least a rare earth element (R') and copper (Cu) and enveloping surfaces of the crystals. Owing to the presence of the enveloping layers, coercivity of the anisotropic rare earth magnet powder can be remarkably enhanced without using a scarce element such as Ga and Dy.

The magnetometers possess a detector part with a magnetosensitive material sensitive to the magnetic field and coil surrounding its magnetosensitive material to pick-up the magnetic field, a pulse generator circuit supplies pulse current to the magnetic material, a sample holding circuit including with an electronic switch synchronized with pulse timing for switching on/off and holding capacitance to charge electricity produced by the pickup coil during the switch on period, and an amplifier circuit amplifies the holding capacitance voltage. Magnetometers possess a Buffer circuit connecting the output side of the pickup coil with the input side of the Buffer circuit and connects the output side of the Buffer circuit with the input side of the electronic switch to transfer the pulse signal voltage induced in the pickup coil from the input side to the output side keeping the pulse signal voltage of the outside at the same level as the inside.

A production method for a case-integrated bonded magnet includes: filling a tubular cavity with a magnet raw material that includes a rare-earth magnet powder and a thermosetting resin binder; heating the magnet raw material to cause the thermosetting resin softened or melted while compressively molding the magnet raw material to obtain a tubular compact; discharging the tubular compact from the tubular cavity while press-fitting the tubular compact into a metal tubular case having an inner peripheral surface coaxial with the tubular cavity; and heat-curing the tubular compact with the tubular case to cure the thermosetting resin. The tubular compact press-fitted into the tubular case is thermally cured thereby causing the tubular compact to transform to a tubular bonded magnet, which expands unexpectedly due to heat.
