A battery pack includes a battery assembly having a plurality of battery cells, a busbar module that includes a plurality of conductors and an insulating member which holds the conductors, a battery control unit provided at an end portion of the battery assembly in an arrangement direction of the battery cells, and an extraction conductor that connects a total electrode terminal connected to the battery assembly to a main circuit terminal of the battery control unit. The extraction conductor has a water escape portion which is located below an imaginary line connecting the total electrode terminal to the main circuit terminal, and an upper end of the water escape portion is formed at a location that is lower than a lower end of the main circuit terminal.

Battery pack

A busbar module unit includes a busbar module that is made of a resin and retains a plurality of first conductors and two second conductor, a wiring path that accommodates a plurality of voltage detection wires, a terminal accommodating portion that accommodates connection terminals of a power cable, and a cover member that is connected to the busbar module via a hinge portion. The terminal accommodating portion is integrally formed with the cover member. The wiring path is arranged so as to intersect at least one of the connection terminals. The cover member has a first face and a second face opposite to the first face, the first face opposes the wiring path when the cover member is folded back via the hinge portion. The terminal accommodating portion is formed on the second face.

Busbar module unit

A sealing member configured to be installed to an outer peripheral surface of a first connector housing among a pair of connector housings seal so as to seal a gap between an outer peripheral surface of a first connector housing and an inner peripheral surface of a second connector housing is provided. An inner peripheral surface of the sealing member is formed with protrusions and grooves which are aligned with a first wavelength in an axial direction of the sealing member. An outer peripheral surface of the sealing member is formed with protrusions and grooves which are aligned with a second wavelength in the axial direction. The first wavelength is equal to or smaller than the second wavelength. Positions of the protrusions of the inner peripheral surface are shifted from positions of the protrusions of the outer peripheral surface in the axial direction.

A structure for attaching a service plug includes an insulating substrate that has openings facing electrodes of a pair of adjacent batteries among a plurality of batteries in a battery module, a pair of connection terminals that are respectively connected to electrodes of the pair of adjacent batteries through the insulating substrate by bolting with nuts, a pair of electric wires whose one ends are connected to the connection terminals respectively, and a connector that is connected to the other ends of the pair of electric wires, and detachably connected with the service plug. The insulating substrate has protrusions which are abutted against the connection terminals respectively, and regulate movement of the connection terminals which simultaneously rotate with rotation of the nuts respectively when being bolted with the nuts.

In a power shutoff device, an operation lever is provided to be rotatable between a first position where a receiving connector and the plug connector are separated and a second position where the receiving connector and the plug connector are fitted. The operation lever is slidable in a direction perpendicular to the fitting direction at the second position. A fitting detecting connector includes a fitting detecting receiving connector accommodating a pair of fitting detecting terminals in a pipe body penetrating and protruding from a side wall of a housing of the receiving connector, and a fitting detecting plug connector accommodating a conductive member electrically connecting the fitting detecting terminals in a pipe body. The fitting detecting plug connector is provided at a distal end part of the operation lever so as to be fitted to the fitting detecting receiving connector when the operation lever slides at the second position.

Power shutoff device

An instrument box and a terminal block including a resin housing and a bus bar are provided. The resin housing has a housing body fixed to a box wall surface; and a bus bar housing formed integrally with the housing body and inserted into an insertion hole of the box wall surface. The bus bar has a bus bar body inserted into the insertion hole with fitted in the resin housing and housed in the bus bar housing; a first terminal connecting portion on one side of the bus bar body to connect with the cable terminal end outside the instrument box; and a second terminal connecting portion on another side of the bus bar body to connect with the terminal inside the instrument box.

A lever fitting-type connecter of the present invention has housing having a main body and a pair of projections; a lever having holes into which the projections are inserted, the lever rotated in a state that the projections are inserted into the holes from a non-fitting position before being fitted to another connector to a fitting position fitted to the other connector by rotating around the projection; an engagement receiving portion arranged in the projection so as to sandwich the lever between the main body and the engagement receiving portion; a first overlapping position arranged in the lever and overlapped with the engagement receiving portion at the non-fitting position; a second overlapping position arranged in the lever and overlapped with the engagement receiving portion at the fitting position; and an engaging portion arranged between the first and second overlapping positions and engaged to the engagement receiving portion.

A connector for determining whether or not to having been disengaged from the mating connectorto be exploded includes a housing including a main body accommodating a terminal fitting, and a pair of projections projecting from the main body; a lever including a pair of plates provided with holes through which each of the pair of projections is passed, and the pair of plates sandwiching the main body therewithin, the lever being arranged rotatively about the pair of projections. The lever includes a label-attached part to which a label is attached, the label-attached part is provided with a plate part coupling the pair of plates to each other, the plate part has a slit open to the hole, extending toward the plate-coupling part, and the label is attached to the label-attached part so as to cover the slit.

An electric junction box, having a terminal portion positioned in the connector engagement portion and arranged perpendicular to a direction along which case members attach each other, which can be assembled easily without increasing the number of components and manufacturing cost is provided. Also, a power supply device having the above-described electric junction box is provided. The electric junction box includes: a box main body having a connector engagement portion and an upper case attached to a lower case in an overlapping relationship; and a bus bar received in the box main body. The lower case includes a bottom wall portion, a positioning wall and peripheral walls. The bus bar includes the terminal portion positioned in the connector engagement portion, a positioning plate portion and a mount portion. The peripheral wall includes a cutout portion allowing the positioning plate portion to move into and out from the lower case.

Electric junction box and power supply device having the same

A junction block () includes a generally rectangular flat plate portion () attached to a side surface of an assembled battery. A control device () is disposed over a portion of the flat plate portion () which includes a middle of the flat plate portion () and which is positionally biased toward a lower side end of the flat plate portion (). A connector-connecting portion () is provided in one of the four corners of the flat plate portion () that is a rear end corner of an upper side end opposite the lower side end of the flat plate portion (). A rib () and a connector-connecting portion () are provided at a location on the flat plate portion () at which the rib () and the connector-connecting portion () clamp the electric power cable () that is connected to the connector-connecting portion () and that is laid along the upper side of the flat plate portion ().

Junction block, and vehicle

A downsized electric junction box and a power supply device having the same are provided. The electric junction box includes: a box main body including a connector engagement portion to be engaged with a connector and relay mount portions for mounting relays; and a wiring unit received in the box main body including mount portions mounted on a bottom wall of a lower case of the box main body and a plurality of terminal portions positioned inside the connector engagement portion and extending from the mount portions. A terminal positioning portion of the lower case includes a planar wall positioning the terminal portions on a surface thereof, extending walls extending from between the adjacent terminal portions, and parallely-projecting walls each projecting from an end of the extending wall in parallel with the planar wall. The mount portion includes a cutout portion through which the parallely-projecting wall is passed.

A power source circuit shut off device includes a plug having a terminal metal fitting and a housing to which the terminal metal fitting is attached, and a plug attachment section having a second terminal metal fitting and a second housing to which the second terminal metal fitting is attached. The housing has a second opening section at its side face perpendicular to its bottom face at a second housing side, the second opening section being adapted for attaching the terminal metal fitting to the housing. The terminal metal fitting and the second terminal metal fitting are connected to the second housing. The second housing has a closing wall which closes the second opening section in a state that the housing is positioned at the terminal contact position at which the housing is not yet accommodated in the second housing.

Power source circuit shut off device

A connection unit includes a first relay connected between a first electrode of a first battery and a first power feed line towards a vehicle load, a second relay connected between a second electrode of the first battery and a second power feed line towards the vehicle load, a third relay and a current limiting resistor connected in series between the second electrode of the first battery and the second power feed line, a fourth relay connected between an electrode of a second battery having a polarity identical to the polarity of the first electrode and the first power feed line towards the vehicle load, and a conductor line connecting an electrode of the second battery having a polarity identical to the polarity of the second electrode with the second electrode of the first battery. There can be provided a connection unit suppressed in the number of components, suitable for usage in a vehicle incorporating a plurality of power storage devices, and a vehicle incorporating the connection unit.
