A linear transporter includes: a transport path including a stator; multiple transport bodies that move along the transport path; a magnetizer that is installed on each of the transport bodies and generates a magnetic field for use in position detection; a magnetic detection element that is installed on the transport path and detects the magnetic field; a calculator that calculates the position of each of the transport bodies on the basis of the magnetic field detected by the magnetic detection element; and a correction value storage that stores a correction value set, which is a combination of correction values for correcting the position of each of the transport bodies. The magnetizer includes a magnet in which magnetic poles of different polarities are arranged alternately along a moving direction of the transport bodies.

Linear transporter and method for manufacturing linear transporter

A position detector includes a position detection magnet unit installed at each of a plurality of carriers, and a position detection unit. The position detection magnet unit includes a plurality of magnets disposed such that different magnetic poles are arranged alternately in a transport direction of the carriers, and side magnetic shielding portions installed at the ends of the position detection magnet unit. The position detection unit includes: a processing substrate disposed in parallel to the transport direction of the carriers; a plurality of magnetic detection elements disposed side by side in the transport direction of the carriers on a front side of the processing substrate; and a substrate-side magnetic shielding portion opposite the magnetic detection elements, the substrate-side magnetic shielding portion being installed on a back side of the processing substrate.

Position detector and linear transport apparatus

A magnetic linear position detector includes a stator and a mover that is movable along a first direction with respect to the stator. One of the stator and the mover includes a magnetic detector, and the other of the stator and the mover includes a magnet. The magnet has a first face facing the magnetic detector, and the first face is provided alternately with N poles and S poles along the first direction. The magnet includes a first region and a second region provided on each side of the first region along the first direction. In the first region, a length along a second direction perpendicular to the first face is constant. In the second region, a length along the second direction is different from the length in the first region.

Magnetic linear position detector

A connector includes a first housing and a second housing. The connector includes a terminal that is a first terminal disposed in a region opposite to the electronic device, of the second housing, and a terminal that is a second terminal disposed in the region opposite to the electronic device, of the second housing, and disposed adjacent to the first terminal. The connector includes a terminal that is a third terminal disposed in the region opposite to the electronic device, of the second housing, and disposed adjacent to the second terminal along an arrangement direction of the first terminal and the second terminal. The connector includes a first connecting conductor that electrically connects together the first terminal and the second terminal, and electrically connects the first terminal and the second terminal to a first device-side conductor provided in the electronic device.

When a plating layer is formed on through holes in semiconductor packages, first and second stacked bodies are stacked with first and second cavities formed in the first and second stacked bodies facing the inner side and are bonded together by applying adhesive to peripheral regions so that the cavities of the first and second stacked bodies form sealed spaces, and the through holes are formed such that part of the first and second stacked bodies including the bonding surface remains. Then, the through holes are plated to form the plating layer, the peripheral regions are removed as cutting allowances, i.e., removal regions, and the first and second stacked bodies are divided into a plurality of pieces along dicing lines to form semiconductor packages.

A magnet for detection mounted on a rotating shaft rotating about a rotation axis, and a detector disposed opposite to the magnet for detection to detect rotation of the rotating shaft are included. The detector includes a multi-layer circuit board, a recessed groove that is provided in an interlayer of the circuit board, has a center on an extension of the rotation axis, and is orthogonal to the rotation axis, a combined magnetic wire incorporated in the recessed groove and exhibiting a large Barkhausen effect, and a pickup coil formed of wiring conductors on the circuit board and a conductor with which through holes are filled, to surround the combined magnetic wire.

To obtain a position detection device capable of detecting highly accurate and robust position by suppressing affect of error detection of an edge, provided is a configuration for performing a validity determination of edges detected by binarizing an image signal () converted by a light-receiving element () for receiving light irradiated from a light source () toward a scale () having a code pattern, and performing position detection after removing the edges determined to be invalid as edges that have been affected by foreign matter and the like among the edges on which the validity determination has been performed.

Position detection device

A rotation number detector according to an embodiment is a rotation number detector that detects the number of rotations of a magnet attached to a rotating body by using a power generation unit. The power generation unit includes N (N is a natural number equal to or larger than 1) power generation elements, each including a magnetic wire in which magnetization reversal occurs due to a large Barkhausen effect and a pickup coil that is wound around the magnetic wire. The magnetic wire is longer than a wound portion of the pickup coil in an extension direction of the magnetic wire of the power generation elements. The magnetic wire is set above a rotation center of the magnet.

Rotation number detector

Provided is an absolute encoder capable of detecting the absolute angle at high resolution and with high precision. An image sensor receives light in an absolute value code pattern of a scale, an edge detecting unit detects from the received light signal an edge pixel position and an edge direction, and an edge position correcting unit corrects the edge pixel position based on the edge direction. A phase detecting unit detects from the corrected edge pixel position the phase shift amount of a shift from a reference pixel position of the image sensor, and a high precision detection unit uses a rough absolute position detected by a rough detection unit and the phase shift amount detected by the phase detecting unit to detect the absolute position with high precision.

Absolute encoder

An optical encoder includes: an optical scale having periodical optical patterns and can be relatively and angularly displaced; a projector for irradiating the optical scale with light; a light receiver for receiving light from the optical scale; and a calculator for calculating an absolute rotation angle &#x3b8; of the optical scale in accordance with a signal from the light receiver. The optical patterns include a plurality of light shielding portions and a plurality of light transmitting portions, each of the portions being located alternately. When a pitch of an n-th light shielding portion in a predetermined circumferential direction is denoted by Pn and a width of the n-th light shielding portion is denoted by Wn, a transmissivity T(&#x3b8;n) corresponding to an angle &#x3b8;n of the n-th light shielding portion and the pitch Pn of the light shielding portion satisfy predetermined equations, and the width Wn of the light shielding portion in the optical pattern varies in accordance with a function of the pitch Pn of the light shielding portion.
