In one embodiment, an MRI apparatus includes: a scanner that includes a static magnetic field magnet, a gradient coil, and a WB coil; and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to: cause the scanner to image, under a first imaging method, a tissue including a perfusion route of body fluid that removes waste products of the object the body fluid including neurofluid; generate an anatomical image of the tissue from first data acquired by imaging under the first imaging method; cause the scanner to image perfusion behavior of the body fluid in real time under a second imaging method using non-contrast perfusion imaging; generate a perfusion image indicating the perfusion behavior of the body fluid from second data acquired by imaging under the second imaging method; and generate a fused image by combining the anatomical image and the perfusion image.

An information processing apparatus according to an embodiment includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to perform an image generating process of generating a plurality of medical images on the basis of a plurality of imaging parameter groups, the plurality of imaging parameter groups being updated by adversarial learning. The processing circuitry is configured to perform a discriminating process of discriminating whether or not each of the plurality of medical images is a target image acquired by a first medical imaging apparatus in the adversarial learning. The processing circuitry is configured to output one of the imaging parameter groups used for generating the medical images in the image generating process when the adversarial learning has converged.

Information processing apparatus

A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes sequence controlling circuitry and processing circuitry. The sequence controlling circuitry executes (i) a first pulse sequence in which a spatially selective Inversion recovery (IR) pulse and a spatially non-selective IR pulse are applied, and (ii) a second pulse sequence in which the spatially non-selective IR pulse is applied without applying the spatially selective IR pulse, while varying the first TI period, with respect to a plurality of first TI periods. The sequence controlling circuitry executes (iii) the third pulse sequence in which the spatially selective IR pulse and the spatially non-selective IR pulse are applied, and (iv) the fourth pulse sequence in which the spatially non-selective IR pulse is applied without applying the spatially selective IR pulse. The processing circuitry generates a magnetic resonance image of an imaged region based on data obtained from the third pulse sequence and the fourth pulse sequence.

Magnetic resonance imaging apparatus and magnetic resonance imaging method

A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus according to an embodiment includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry acquires an echo signal generated for each of intervals of repetition time by applying an excitation pulse to a subject at the intervals of repetition time, and acquires data of a plurality of trajectories set for a k-space using the echo signals. The processing circuitry acquires a plurality of echo signals by setting echo time to lengths different between a plurality of periods of repetition time and acquires data of the same trajectory using the echo signals, and the echo time serves as time from application of the excitation pulse to generation of the echo signal.

Magnetic resonance imaging apparatus

In one embodiment, a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes: a scanner that includes a static magnetic field magnet configured to generate a static magnetic field, a gradient coil configured to generate a gradient magnetic field, and a WB (Whole Body) coil configured to apply an RF pulse to an object; and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to: set (i) a pulse sequence in which a sequence element is repeated, the sequence element including at least an inversion pulse and (ii) a data acquisition sequence executed after a delay time from the inversion pulse; and cause the scanner to execute the pulse sequence by using virtual gating.

A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus according to an embodiment includes sequence controlling circuitry and processing circuitry. The sequence controlling circuitry is configured to execute (i) a first pulse sequence in which a spatially selective Inversion recovery (IR) pulse and a spatially non-selective IR pulse are applied, and subsequently an acquisition is performed and (ii) a second pulse sequence in which the spatially non-selective IR pulse is applied without applying the spatially selective IR pulse, and subsequently an acquisition is performed, while varying the first TI period, with respect to a plurality of first TI periods. The processing circuitry is configured to calculate a second TI period to be used in a third pulse sequence and a fourth pulse sequence, based on data obtained from the first pulse sequence and the second pulse sequence. The sequence controlling circuitry executes (iii) the third pulse sequence in which the spatially selective IR pulse and the spatially non-selective IR pulse are applied, and subsequently an acquisition is performed and (iv) the fourth pulse sequence in which the spatially non-selective IR pulse is applied without applying the spatially selective IR pulse, and subsequently an acquisition is performed. The processing circuitry generates a magnetic resonance image of an imaged region based on data obtained from the third pulse sequence and the fourth pulse sequence.

A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus according to an embodiment includes sequence controlling circuitry and processing circuitry. The sequence controlling circuit executes, while a k-space is divided into a plurality of segments, a pulse sequence by which a tag pulse is applied and subsequently acquisition is performed. The processing circuit generates an image based on the pulse sequence executed by the sequence controlling circuit. The pulse sequence is a pulse sequence by which the acquisition is repeatedly performed at the center of the k-space. The sequence controlling circuit executes the pulse sequence, while changing the range to which the tag pulse is applied, for each of the plurality of segments.

According to one embodiment, a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry calculates power of a first RF magnetic field required for excitation at a first flip angle in a first target slice, acquires information on inhomogeneity of a transmission RF magnetic field for a cross section crossing the first target slice, and calculate power of a second RF magnetic field required for excitation at a second flip angle in a second target slice different from the first target slice for the cross section by using the information and the first RF magnetic field power.

According to one embodiment, a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry acquires a first resonance frequency distribution of a first tissue and a second resonance frequency distribution of a second tissue which is different from the first tissue. The processing circuitry calculates a center frequency of a frequency-selective pulse that suppresses or emphasizes either one of the first tissue and the second tissue in accordance with the first and second resonance frequency distributions. The processing circuitry collects a magnetic resonance signal after the frequency-selective pulse is applied at the calculated center frequency.

According to one embodiment, a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry calculates a static magnetic field correction amount based on a static magnetic field distribution of a first imaging range narrower than a second imaging range. The processing circuitry collects a magnetic resonance (MR) image of the second imaging range under a static magnetic field which is corrected based on the static magnetic field correction amount. The processing circuitry corrects distortion of the collected MR image.

The processing circuitry generates, from a first image influenced by a magnetic field distortion, a second image in which the influence of the distortion is corrected, receives a first area setting in the second image and calculates, by a method of the calculation depending on an imaging purpose, an excitation area in the imaging based on the first area.

In one embodiment, an MRI apparatus, includes a static magnetic field magnet configured to generate a static magnetic field, a gradient coil configured to generate a gradient magnetic field, a transmission and reception coil configured to transmit an RF signal and receive a magnetic resonance signal, and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry determines whether or not a prescan for calculating a correction value that corrects a phase error is skippable or reducible based on an imaging condition of a main scan, and executes a scan including at least the main scan in accordance with a result of the determination.

An MRI apparatus includes a reception gain storage part, a reception gain acquisition part, and a generation part. The reception gain storage part is configured to store reception gains of MR signals. The reception gains are related to at least one of pieces of patient information and imaging conditions. The reception gain acquisition part is configured to obtain a corresponding reception gain from the reception gain storage part, based on at least one of a piece of patient information and an imaging condition of an object. The piece of the patient information and the imaging condition have been specified for an imaging of the object. The generation part is configured to receive MR signals of the object with an amplification with the reception gain obtained by the reception gain acquisition part, and generate image data based on the received MR signals.
